Just a tiny little thing:

I noticed that on the Sites-overview the info on Model Variety now shows the realnames instead of pornnames.
Why's that and wasn't it pornnames before (83b)?
Always have to be extra careful and doublecheck before manually uploading new scenes.

I really like this game...
but...
Most of the time I have no fucking clue what the game is doing or what the consequences of my doings are...

For instance staff-happiness.
It seems to me completely random.
I'm raising their payment constantly. But even if I keep them at "Ecstatic" sooner or later happiness drops to zero and they quit!?
Female staff I can call to office and give them a few days off or a bonus. But that does not have any observable effect.
For male staff there is no such option, only the salary.

At one point I checked the staff. Two had a happiness in the 20s. Most were well beyond 50.
The VERY next day quite a bunch (maybe about 8?) had a happiness of ZERO. Another bunch had a single digit happiness. Many of them were "ecstatic" about their salary, only a few of them were less than "happy". I raised all of them to ecstatic. To no avail, I lost almost all of them.

Another time: a staff member with average happiness and more than happy about their salary, I sent her to training.
A few days later I've got a notice, she's about to quit! dafuq?! Why? She was, no is, still happy?
It did not need much to raise her salary to "ecstatic". A few days later her happiness was well in the 80s. She did quit anyways. Why??
This makes no fucking sense!

underpm answered you pretty well
i'm running 1 ingame year of autoproduction 5 days a week, with pay on exstatic and nobody quits.
shooting with chicks with certain traits severly impacts the happiness (obnxious, cantankerous, ...) if you shoot with those chicks every day staff will lose their mind.
the last example shouldnt be the case tho. if happiness is not at 0 after a week, only then they'll quit. will check whats going on, maybe something is busted.

What's that thing in the prostitution description that talks about a chance of meeting sketchy people?

like said, easier to find clients but also prepping for the future events (getting robbed and such)

Can someone tell me why Talent Search is not available for my PA?

not available how? you cant pick the role for pa? did you pick any starting perks?

Bug report - in 083b, the attached save consistently crashes on the next day transition (e.g. sleep for 24 hours). Nothing in the Godot logs to explain why.

edge case, but good shit you've caught it. btw, editor is gone.
if you have exactly one employee and they leave you again, bug will trigger again.

- Solo scene can be do in Single Scene from the Studio (5000), also it will cost u at least a director and a lamp and camera at least?
- To do Photoshoot we will need to buy the Photo Studio and do the same configuration than the Studio

First of all I'd like to say porn empire is a good management game, building up your own empire can be a lot of fun. Thanks for the great work on the game mbmb!

I've run into an issue though, I've started my save file on the 082 dev7 release, switched to 082d and now 083b, but I can't recruit rival models. After they agree to join, but bring up their contract I can't tell my PA to do anything and they don't show up. Also I seem to be missing the option for my PA's to search for talents and all interactions with my rivals don't seem to do anything at all. (I don't get a notice if it failed or succeeded) Is my save file broken and should I start over? Attaching my save file just in case.

Where was this information in the game? How were we, the player, supposed to learn this through playing? Yes, it was clear that a girls happiness would drop if they did a scene... but it wasn't clear that the film crew would also take a hit.

I'm not convinced that this is the full picture, or that everything is working as it is supposed to be.

For a while I checked the staff almost daily. (Which should not be normal game play!)
I raised all their pay to ecstatic which is quite a fortune.
Most of the time they stayed at >80.
But there are still some which keep dropping to zero, sometimes within one day.
And they keep quitting not so frequently anymore but they still do, usually without warning. Drop to zero → quit the next day. Drop to the 20s → quit the next day.

thats the curse of the solo dev. i have to rely on players goodwill to send feedback.
what i may find logical, doesnt always reflect on others. also some(most?) people are playing the game for a while now and know they way around. they've seen it evolve.
if you're new, it really get some time to get used to it.
now that you've mentioned this, i've note it down and next time you'll probably see that info.

after i include travel and a more sophisticated ai rivals i plan to do in game guide / tutorial. also expose certain mechanics so it's easier to figure out.

i've tested and cannot replicate. once they drop to 0, they go into 1 week grace period. if you keep it above 10, they'll stay.
you dont get notified if they're unhappy if you dont have HR employed. this PA will send you a mail that they're unhappy.
also dailly happiness loss is limited to -30, cannot drop more than that.
i have to investigate more.

yea, just click on the name in the list after it's already selected and you can change the porn name

there are few places where they're still reffered to the real name. eventually i'll find them all.
if you want to find a girl in the list you can start typing in her real name to filter her. both names work.

Thanks... now I feel kinda stupid, but I did check where you could change the real name, and the porn name box next to that should probably be able to change the porn name as well

same here... after a succesful talk with rival model on a party, there is now way to get her through financial advisor PA

I have a PA, and I've got some notifications. But I've also seen resignations without prior notice. (Okay, maybe I've missed a few, wouldn't swear an oath on that...)
I had one staff member which was close to 100 for quite a while. Suddenly he appeared in the lower range and... he was gone! There was no notification. I'm pretty sure he never dropped to zero.
30 per day is still a deep dive. If you check only every other day it's already 60.

During the last session the number of losses was already quite low. But all the cases were rather weird IMHO.
Now I decided to do absolutely nothing, just watch. For maybe 2 or 3 game weeks. I've kept the production queue as full as possible.
Happiness drops sometimes into the 60s but is usually well beyond 90. No further losses.
But now all training sessions were finished. Most of staff must have reached their cap.

Maybe that's the point? Hire a bunch of rookies, let them learn on the job and they learn way to fast?
The whole trouble started about 2 game months before, when I noticed that the complete staff of a studio was gone!? I had no fucking clue what just happened. Only later I found the resignation mails. (no PA at that time)
I cheated me a full complement of lvl 10 staff for the vacated studio. But continued normally for the other one and the next one to come.
One by one I lost almost all of the "normally" hired staff. But I lost only one of the cheated lvl 10 staff.

Oh and a PS:
The male MC and the girls all have rather average and healthy proportions.
All the other boys are somewhere around 90cm and 220kg.
And none of them was tagged as a "Quarter Ton Hobbit"!
Thankfully there is no faithful visual representation of this.

I really don't take a pleasure in being the bearer of bad news...
Early on when I had a little spare cash I put it to the bank. Let's see what happens. Oh! 1% per annum? That's a joke, right? Whatever, forget it, let's carry on.
A little later it didn't look like like anything goes anywhere, the heck, let's take a loan.
A couple of (in game) months later. The loan is finally paid of.
But the bank account has also dropped to zero! It was not much, but there was something!
Nevertheless the measly interest quadrupled from 5 to 20!?

Unless it's a fixed rate such as a house or car loan that increase sounds about right for a personal or business loan. The longer it takes too pay the higher it gets, up to a 35% cap.

once you get money you basically just want to get girls from parties right? I tend to have a lot of low level girls because I talk to them on the street thinking they will be good (or at least pretty) and they end up being low stats across the board.
