(felt a bit bad about piling on with the negatives, so wanted to list some of the positives):
1. "paperdoll" system (there should be a better term that's not so diminutive) - good thing IMO about 2D is it doesn't have to be perfect, since it leaves something to the imagination. It's great to have the different shapes, sizes, colors, & clothes.
2. screwing around in town
3. screwing around in other countries (although I quit-without-saving when doing this, so I don't fall behind schedule. At some point I'll just canonically go abroad for a few days, and bring along the models that are due for scenes).
4. 18 days later... "oops". Well, at least I can build up preggo market share.
5. x-mas party. Come to think of it, an update focused on events would be pretty cool (hopefully more deterministic than RNG... and there should be some kind of event if you stick with a gal from lvl 2 to lvl 8+)
6. the 6 mushroom thing (good thing dev said something... I pretty much say no to drugs)
7. I'm fine with the balance of making money (minus the complaint about penalties). I can have my fun with 1 good studio. I'm going to try adding a second studio, so I can do some FFM scenes without making all my M-F scenes amateur for that day. Anyway, there's a pretty good progression of not buying stuff until you can afford the ongoing costs.
8. Name bank for various countries. I do have some BTC somewhere; if I can find it, I'd be willing to pay a fair price for a copy of that data.

Suggestion - Creatable "Contract Packages" with user pre-defined conditions in them. Give you the ability to make the casting negotiation process a little faster if you can just click a package. You could have packages for sub-standard, standard, and for porn stars.

What use does the dungeon have?

Sadly none, as it's bugged and doesn't work. If it did work then it would raise corruption by +10 per week by assigning a girl to it, which would be a way out for when you get stuck with a girl who has zero corruption (i.e. a virgin) and refuses to do literally anything. Because of this bug the only way to get them to actually put out, even after signing a contract, is to get them completely loaded on booze & drugs (and even that has abysmal odds of success).

One thing that irks me is that while screwing in other countries can spare you from dealing with jealous boyfriends and take-down orders from the cops, you can still get hit up with child support when they magically show up in your office pregnant. Pretty sure there main reason rich jerks in real life fly abroad for pussy is precicely to prevent that from happening.

There are several facts that influence this. Look at your productions, if you don't have checked to use a condom.
I don't think I have to tell you that they need to get vaginal creampies for that, right? I mean, you could send them to do a shooting, but said shooting may only have like bjs and anal and whatnot.
Otherwise what REALLY worked for me (I was stuck without any pregnancy) is to add the damn mod folder. I don't know why, but that's what solved my issues. To do so, just follow the steps on the main menu for creating a custom npc char (the mod tab) and make sure you create that folder, even if you don't use any custom chars.

How do I play around the Consistency for scene popularity? What makes it go down and up?

First of all consistency is a relatively new addition to the game, so here is me taking a guess with my experience.
Consistency lower your video popularity from 0 to 20%. If you have a very high consistency malus, you need to litteraly do only one type of scene (for exemple FFF with toys masturbation 69) again and again for some time (maybe weeks ?).
The idea behind it is that you are a company with a brand (for exemple FFF, or boy-girl) or maybe 2, and "people" expect your videos to be like that.
It makes sense if you compare to the real world (for exemple if you watch a scene from legal porno etc ...) even if it is quite frustrating.

Here's my new strategy that doesn't require cheating:

1) Hire cheap hookers & use condoms. Rent a hotel room to avoid penalty for filming in the abandoned shack you call home.

2) At Rep 2 open a company and hire a shitty L1 editor. If there is any speed difference between a L1 editor and a L10 editor, I haven't seen it. This will let you spend all of your precious energy on fucking instead of editing, so it's actually worth it.

3) As soon as you've got $10K saved up, spend half of it creating a Network and hiring a shitty L1 webmaster. You can level them up as needed and only as needed. So long as your rating is over 100% (and it will be) you're still fine.

4) Spam Hidden Camera/Boy-Girl sites. Make like 10 of them. Then just go around town seducing every bimbo that you find and hitting those 2-film quotas one after another. The sheer volume of copy/pasted sites will more than pay for the cost of the server it by far, and you're no longer paying any $ for sex. If you can afford it, fly out of the country before your cock rampage. Local destinations aren't that expensive and it will completely nullify the events of jealous boyfriends and getting busted & fined by the cops. Won't save you from paternity suits, though, so keep using condoms for now.

5) Once you're income is decent expand into camgirls. They don't pay much TBH (just a few hundred $ a month per girl so far), but they require no further effort or upkeep on your behalf once a girl is moved into that role so it's basically free money.

6) When income gets over $25000+ per month stop using condoms. You'll make a lot more per video and chucking $1000 at random abortions should no longer be a threat to your bank account.

7) This is where I start chucking money into the bank and schmoozing Anne Wilder for better interest rates. When my monthly intrest gets high enough I'll hire another staff member, but only when I can pay for them off that alone - just in case.

8) Who to hire? Jenny Copeland should always be the first NPC that you bring in, even if she's the only one you ever recruit, just so you can stop wasting time at the gym. After that I go with webmasters as needed to expand, marketing agents as I can afford it, one PA in human resources for the +3 per day Happiness bonus that pretty much makes employees quitting impossible and one more to do interviews for me & recruit top tier talent from here on out. That and security guards as needed and everything seems to work just fine.

9) From here on out I'm just focusing entirely on stuffing my account and impressing Anne. Theoretically I'll eventually make enough to basically retire of interest, same as when I cheated.

Interesting way to play it. But I think its kinda grindy, specially when I read "When income gets over $25000+ per month". I mean, I just play in easy difficulty, and after 1 year ingame, I have 1 Mo in bank now.

I just understand how important trends are. Before creating my company, at the beginning of weeks, I just try few scenes with different tags to find what tags are. The way its marked with a 5% per trend, is pretty bad and you cant understand how powerful it is. Just to have an idea, a girl with good traits could have 1 or 2% more profit. 1 trend is 5%. If you have 3 trends activated, you have 15%, but in reality your scene would earn 3x more money than a scene without a trend. For me right now, its the only way to make money in game, except grindy one with camgirl for ex.

So my advice could be :
- play in easy difficulty. Normal one just push it to be more grindy. Take the automatic girl with you as option.
- same as all at the beginning, make money with hookers, dont recruit anyone, wait to open company
- do as many contracts as possible
- at te beginning of week, make different scenes with different tags to find trends.
- only turn scene with trend
- Put all your money in bank.
- When you have 500k, open a company, recruit a PA to find trends.
- Recruit unique girls, recruit other girl by talking to her and give them vacation to upgrade relationship. Then always recruit her for minimum wage per scene.
- Dont recruit to many security guard, to lose some fame, to avoid reaching lvl 3 of fame too early.
- Stay lvl 2 of fame, and keep doing scene with trends. You could have camgirls, site or carwash to make some money.

After playing it a lot of hours now, I think there are a lot of different way to play this game, but my best advice is : dont go lvl 3 of fame

Also... when girls say they like rich guys, they're only looking at the money in your wallet. Whatever is in your bank account apparently doesn't count.

Meaning if you've got $10,000,000 in the bank but only $100 in your wallet she'll claim that you're flat broke.

Since I see so many people kicking themselves for not enabling cheat mode when starting a game and then getting stuck or bankrupted, I guess I should tell ya'll you can actually enable/disable cheat mode at any time.

It's as simple as opening your save in notepad++, searching for cheat and then changing the "null" it shows after cheat_mode between the @@ to 1.

After some rough times we're back. Payments are still paused but i'll turn them on once i actually release something.
What can you expect for v0.9?
Mostly focusing on making rival companies more integrated into the game.
Main goal is to make each playthrough a bit different so you don't autopilot.

At the start all niches are covered apart from few (randomized).
Now one strategy is to tap into them and start building your company without interfering with your rivals too much.
If RNG wasn't on your side and free tags are hard to get or you just don't want them, well you need to rethink and start increasing market share without pissing off your rival too much.
You can straight up start sabotaging their servers, taking their stars and so on but they'll return the favor.
Lower your website subscription prices and attract more people while making your competition angry.

You can visit porn conventions, win awards, shoot high quality scenes and build your reputation & ms that way.


Each rival also has what you could call paranoia and companies with low values wont care at all what you do and don't perceive you as a threat while others will be on high alert by you just existing. This is so they don't react the same way in each playthrough.
So you can do it slow and steady or be aggressive with price dumping, deceptive marketing, sabotaging...
Now another not yet implemented idea is to include CEOs of those companies. You could get info on them and exploit it. For example one likes specific country, well why dont we take him there...
You're good buddies with one CEO? Why don't you suggest to form cartels and start crashing the third rival.

I'd also like to mix up the policies and make them locked for 3 months. While I don't want to make decisions permanent, at least we have to live with them for some time.
Want to ignore websites, cams and photostudio and just continue publishing on net battling piracy? Well with certain policy combinations you'll be able to.
Like RPG builds with unlimited respecs.
Ideally, all ways of making money should be viable IF you specialize into them. Or spread around and be decent in all of them.

I also have some catching up to do, so you can expect many of the suggestions/bugfixes you've dished out in the last 2 months.
