I had a bunch of girls taken by rivals when my company hit level 3 (9 girls in one (or two) days). All of these girls had marketing people raising their fame prior to them being taken (none were under contract).
After the girls were taken, the marketing people were not able to take on new girls to improve their fame - they were stuck raising fame for girls working for rivals, and i did not have access to the fame panel for the girls taken so I could not remove the marketing people assigned to them. To be able to use marketing to increase fame of new girls, I had to fire the marketing PAs, and rehire so I could use those 9 slots on new girls.
Playing v84 for windows released in April.

I reached lvl 5, but when trying to sign a contract with a girl,
a higher reputation is required !? Did I miss something?
Weird... According to the source code rep 5 should be enough to sign any girl in the game.
Can you save me your savefile so I can test it myself?
so i was making a steady increase on my profits especially on published scenes but then all of a sudden the money i got from publishing just tanked and i cant figure out why
i got better pornstars, better equipment and staff and always tried to publish my scenes along trends theres no reason for this dramatic decrease in profits. webcams also seem to be affected but not as much
on a related note i still havent figured out whats the consistency bonus (or malus) and how can i increase it. Every single scene i made through the playthrough has a -20% malus
it also seems like hitting rep 3 is a huge blow to the player as rival companies just yoink half of your freelancers right away and two or three every day afterwards and there doesnt seem to be a way to deal with it unless you have huge amounts of cash on hand to secure a handful of them at best
edit: forgot to mention, excluding the porn queens and the ones who are snatched from you, all the generic rival models dont have any traits whatsoever, probably an oversight

I cant get auto production to schedule my contracted models for the life of me. I have all 9 studios max equipment max staff and plenty of money and 1-8 are for contracted models only and studio 9 is for agency models but my PA is only scheduling agency models each week in studio 9 and nothing in my other studios im so confused.
Edit: I dont have a single carwash or camshow or stripclub model so thats not the problem, All my models are doing nothing basically just waiting to be scheduled. I also went to everyone of my models options and unchecked studio 9 and photostudio so they are forced to be scheduled in studios 1-8.

Edit: I dont have a single carwash or camshow or stripclub model so thats not the problem, All my models are doing nothing basically just waiting to be scheduled. I also went to everyone of my models options and unchecked studio 9 and photostudio so they are forced to be scheduled in studios 1-8.

You have only favorite models checked with contract models. You either need to favorite all the contract models or uncheck favorite models
they usually wear them if they're from middle east region
i dont think they wear hijabs during sex. could be wrong here.
you cant create protag with one. i could make it tho.
i cannot say. are there any big penalties? amatuer + no marketing + no market share ...
that -20% is probably causing it. drop the difficulty to very easy to sorta offset it, until it sorts itself out. it's really finicky the way it's working now.
you'll have to send me the save. i dont see anything obvious.

Tbh I still am figuring this game out. I restarted and looked up a guide. I do need help with the special girls though. The Jeweler's wife stopped showing up and The lady at the carwash too. The lady at the bank just keeps asking me for sex but no progress further than that. Also the the Yoga lady doesn't have corruption available. Is that a bug, or just how it is? And where can I hire staff members?

For both ladies, you just have to be patient.
For lady of bank, it just depends of your money on your account. When you reach 100k, 500k, 1Mo, 22, 5mo she appears (not sure of any prize here).
For yoga its a good question.
For staff members, you need to reach lvl 1 of fame, opening a company then you have the job center to recruit people

Thanks for the answers. Don't want to keep bombarding questions in the thread so I'll just Ask everything now.
1. Is reputation the same as fame? If not, how do I level fame?
2. How many special girls are in the game as of this version?
3.Any tips for making money? Cause I still haven't figured how to profit yet.
4.How do I send hostesses to the night club and girls to the car wash?
5.Where is the warehouse located? Is it a physical location or just part of the menu?
6.When I go to offer a contract to a model, it doesn't let me click the okay button. Is this a glitch or am I not doing something right.
That is all I can think of for now.
1. reputation is a global stat. it increases as you play more. few more things have impact on it but i dont wanna bombard you with too much info.
fame is a pornstar stat. it mostly influences her pay and the money you get from scenes.
2. i think theres a guide on the first page. dont know how old.
3. there are few, but the most straighforward is to just shoot porn while not trying to shoot with expensive chicks too soon.
also work orders you're getting are a good source of money early on. so try to align with them.
photo contracts are sorta broken(they pay too much), but you can open a photostudio, assign some chicks there and complete them.
then open a company, hire 1 director, open a studio and start doing pro shoots.
as for long term plan, open websites. they start slow, but are the main source of money later (at least in v.084) trying to balance things out for v0.9
4. right click on their name, assign
5. where you have studios overview. you have to open a company before it shows.
6. if you hover over the OK buttons tooltip should open telling you why. probably not enough money.
or you havent checked the duration or whatever.

They are two different things. In this case Gouryo meant reputation, just used wrong word.
When playing as man: 12 recruitable as porn actresses; on top of that, 4 others:
tax inspector recruitable as staff member only,
carwash owner, bank manager, jeweller's wife not recruitable.
I believe it's different for woman MC, but I don't know details
High quality well-marketed scenes, websites, photo studio contracts are all real moneymakers.
Passive income helps (car wash, night club), but it's not worth focusing on.
Right click their names on the Girl Panel, you'll have options to send them to all available facilities.
I guess you mean the building in the studio where you buy theme sets.
You need to select things she's supposed to do and payment schedule, the button then unlocks (provided the girl is willing to sign the contract with you in the first place)
