I agree that the grammar is bad.
However, you have a habit of making incorrect assumptions.
I think it was more than fair to ask you to clarify your issue in an attempt to understand what the problem was but you sort of took offense to it. I was on your side and wanted to see this issue fixed. But then you brushed me aside and declared me a new player.
Judging from your exchange with mbmb and what I'm seeing from my end in the current build, your issue has not been addressed at all. My attempts to help you, have quite frankly, been thrown back in my face.
So now, I will argue against showing all likes and dislikes during the dialogue phase. Afterall, it's unfair since recruiting models off the street involves RNG and many unknown factors until after the recruitment phase, it should be the same for staff street recruitment. For the sake of balance and to elevate the importance of the job center, which staff candidates would normally have something akin to a resume/linkedin/profile that details all their experiences and job preferences.
It's a true shame because we kind of wanted the same thing. I had long advocated for a refresh button at the job center so that paying a price of $5000 would renew the list of staff candidates to new candidates because I also only hire female workers.
It's not just bad, I'm arguing that it's a bug. But you're free to disagree.
Not trying to be rude here, but why should I, or anybody for that matter, have to clarify what's already been stated? If my original comment was unclear I'd understand, but that does not appear to be what you're saying. Correct me if I'm wrong, and I could be, but you're saying I should've "clarified" my post because you didn't want to go back and look to see what I was talking about? That's bad forum etiquette in my personal opinion. If a post is referring to something dozens of pages back, sure, maybe quote the post or something if you're making a generalized comment about it. But I literally said my initial comment to mbmb a few posts, not pages, back.
Moreover, I specifically tagged mbmb, as in I was specifically talking to him, and he responded. At that point we had personal discourse going and I didn't NEED you to fix anything. Also, you couldn't fix the issue because it's a coding issue so you literally could not help. I knew this, but I still took the time to "clarify" the issue, which was not directed at you nor did you need to or where you asked to interject yourself into. Your original misunderstanding is what gave me the impression that you were a new player since had you seen the op you would've had the proper reference to understand the next post. So yes, I made an incorrect assumption based on the information I had at the time. It happens. My bad. But if you're going to jump in somebodies conversation, at least have the courtesy to go back and see what was said before you ask people to re-explain shit. But that's my forum etiquette, I can't expect others to have the same.
You're more than welcome to argue for or against whatever changes you wish. I genuinely do not care. So by all means, advocate for any changes you like. I'm sure mbmb would appreciate the passion. While you're at it, support him over on Patreon too!
I don't know if we want the same thing but again, advocate away!
"Judging from your exchange with mbmb and what I'm seeing from my end in the current build, your issue has not been addressed at all. My attempts to help you, have quite frankly, been thrown back in my face."
This one sentence encapsulates the whole issue though.
First, you don't pay attention. We're both using the same version, so if you have the same issue then obviously it hasn't been addressed yet. That would require a patch or a new version.
Second, we don't know if the issue has been fixed yet as mbmb hasn't clarified if "works fine for me" means the image I shared is as it should be or if it displays the "proper" information in the most up to date version that he's working on.
Third, I was talking to mbmb specifically about a coding issue that you couldn't help with. But you feel a certain type of way about it because you misunderstood the situation and wanted me to correct your misunderstanding for some shit that had nothing to do with you and you couldn't help with anyway. I did that though, but by doing so I'm throwing your help back in your face?
Friend. In this situation, you could've NEVER helped me.
