HTML - PornStars Blackjack [v1.10] [Dextersmith]

The game doesn't follow the classic BlackJack rules. No splits, no double-down and no push with the dealer (you win in case of a draw). Also some scenes are locked behind patreon membership. Regarding the scenes, those are old, short and quality is pretty bad.

Why do people keep making Black Jack games when they don't even know the rules of black jack. Look up the rules of black jack.
Also the UI is very annoying and slow. Why do I have to click through my opponent drawing another card.
It's tedious and boring and the rules are wrong.

I get where the inspiration is coming from but it really just isn't good enough and doesn't evoke that "crappy flash game nostalgia" for me. I can give a singular star for the theming and gameplay mechanics working (as far as I can see but I'm not a blackjack expert) but beyond that? There's just nothing to really see here. Win a few hands to unlock a menu to play a few WEBM files for a small selection of girls. That's it.

The selection of girls in itself is rather poor. I'd expected at least a ten character lineup to give a bit of choice or cater to different tastes, but so far there's only three "contemporary" girls who fill similar boxes, one poorly drawn and AI animated "hentai" girl and one "classic" girl. Perhaps being able to add your own girls through mods would help in this area?

It's also very bare bones from a "game" perspective, containing just blackjack with the ability to spend earned cash on a series of WEBMs (some of which are Patreon code protected). I'd expected even a little bit of differing personality from the girls, even just singular lines, but there's no functional variation during the blackjack segment for each girl. Perhaps another option could be cash to strip the avatars as well instead of just the WEBMs? How about being able to replay a WEBM?

Honestly, even if you're a blackjack fan and like real porn games you can probably do better unless there's a massive content update released after this review. I doubt I'll revisit this one in future.

Its not using basic Blackjack rules.. house can stop befor 17... when you lose all cash against a character you cant start over. Its a rather meh game but i think it has potential if worked on for a while more, but in the current state its rather lacking.

So... the game is as boring as it gets: you can click "hit" or "stand" and leave it to luck how long it will take you to unlock the few non-patreon-locked scenes.

I was thinking of giving it 1 star, but I mean, that's what blackjack comes down to - it'd be unfair to download a blackjack game and then give it 1 star for being blackjack.

I found it terribly boring, but if somebody likes blackjack, I guess this is an option with some sexy women as a bonus.

I stuck with it for a few updates, currently 1.04, but it is time to move on and not waste any more time on this one. A 2-star rating is being generous, mainly for the effort of the dev to try and address the issues that users brought up, basically not following common blackjack dealer rules. Unfortunately, as far as I'm concerned, while improved from the initial release, those issues were never fully resolved and the most recent additional content isn't really for me.

Edit: I took a star away because the effort to fix any issues seemed to go away as well. If you are looking for a blackjack game, as some reviews mentioned to justify a higher rating, this is definitely NOT for you.

It perfectly serves the purpose it was created for; it's not trying to be something it's not.

The Dev seems to have taken all the feedback from the thread into account, fixed all the bugs, and as far as I can tell, I haven't seen any issues with the mechanics.

Even the art has been improved a bit (I'm talking about the game's name being incorporated into the background image's chips and on the back of the cards).

Now Ace & 17 rules works well, and the sums match the cards shown.

The game is a blackjack where you play against different girls. If you take all their money, they'll fuck you to get it back.

It's elegant, simple, and relaxing, with a good atmosphere and good music.

If you're looking for a Fortnite, this isn't for you.

so, the art is basically ripped assets from other websites so no rendering. updates should be massive and fast to produce, yet i suspect they will be slow like all other HTML games using real porn.

no plot/story or anything really that i see. straight to game no messing around with writing

game design is shoddy to look at and the blackjack game is broken. an Ace and a 4 and an 8 does not equal 23 in any blackjack game/casino anywhere i have seen. never. 13 yes, 23 no.
also, every time i got 19 or above the dealer hit 21. everytime. without fail.
so the mechanics of this simple game are also broken or also cut and paste over from another game which is also broken.

open the image folder should you want to look at porn...or ya know, go to a porn site, as this (very loose term incoming) game needs work just to work
