You know that you're just maybe delaying the release with all this talk as well right?

I don't mean to be rude, but G28 and his long time fans already said that the release will come when it's time. I understand many like his content, and I'm sure he knows that's a good thing, but he already said the game will be out when it's time. Of course it isn't everyone, but some show a lack of care about the effort on developing the game. It wouldn't surprise me if he actually delayed because of it, he already did it before (as well with leaks). So please be patient.

I understand that unfortunely this forum has tons of games abandoned and devs with false promises, but this isn't the case. G28 so far has always been fair and very down-to-earth when it comes to updates. There is a reason that many of his supporters don't usually leak his content here. Same way as to why some people who can't afford being a patron refuse to played leaked versions due to respect of his work and word.

I'm pretty vocal to call out devs for bullshit talk, I do it all the time, but to this day so far I've never had anything of criticism about him, and his content has always been outstanding. Not to mention that he still engages quite well with the community around here.

The right time to be released will come. In meantime wait or play other stuff.

G28 owes nothing to us (non-patrons), if he gives us something, it is only out of his generosity, and not because he owes us something.

I imagine he's waiting until the final bugfix/patch release for this version. When he finishes up and moves back to College Daze I think we'll see it.

If you are referring to my earlier replies, it was not my intention to pester or upset the dev or anyone. I asked for the download because I was confused because it was updated on mopoga.com 10 days before. Just was confused. If dev wants to take more time to polish the game before releasing, I am more than happy to wait as anybody should

sorry tgp31 i wasnt referring to you or anyone specifically.... i just have noticed this on quite a few boards and i think its a shame... i just wanted people to see my message and think is all... maybe have some of the ones who think that they are entitled to all of this content take a step back and maybe just maybe realize that they arent and that it could go away at the whim of the developer... we have all seen games do abandoned and that sux but to have the developer go AWOL because of this kind of shit is BS (i saw it happen on a game a few years back but i cant remember the name).... i damn sure dont want it to happen to my 2 favorite games here (thanks G28Here)

Thinking about trying another playthrough: what do you guys think are the 'canon' choices for the setup to Power of Will? Because my choices are typically:

• 'nymphomaniac'
• 'iron fist'
• 'All of It'
• see potential consequences, women gaining the opportunity to go to brothels, mean people
• 'aging trophy wife' or 'forbidden harlot'
• 'soldier'
• 'brawler'
• 'capable warrior'
• 'work wife'
• 'arrested'
• 'house arrest'
• 'preserve slavery'

I know there can't really be a canon series of options, but these are definitely my headcanon for the roles of the characters around us and I think the attitudes of the nation. I also guess I've realized I trend towards the 'normal'/'good' options here. Brawler is probably the least troublesome choice, while 'capable warrior' makes her a valuable bodyguard'. I am looking for ways to enhance my position through the setup I guess?

I've been maintaining three playthroughs: a Main/Good playthrough where I pick whatever I think is best and actually try to pick more moral options, a hedonist playthrough where I just pick whatever options lead to the most sex, mostly irrespective of morality , and a sadist playthrough where I just pick the most dominating/cruel options.

You're beginning choices mostly line up with my main/good playthrough, though I don't keep slavery in that one since I would never pick it anyway, and I use the former bodyguard option for the wife and save nympho for the pure sex playthrough.

Yeah I know that feeling. I have been here since 2018 and have seen quit a few good ones got abandoned because of one or other reasons. One comes in to my mind but can't quit pinpoint on it. I think it was Evil 2 but I maybe wrong, but I think that game was abandoned because someone left quit a hard and negative review and the dev didn't like it and was discouraged and left the development of the game. If someone knows it if it was Evil 2 or it was another game please confirm here. I personally don't like the games I like to get abandoned like this one.

On the topic, I asked what I feel an innocent question, just wanted to know if dev has uploaded the game on one site so when will it come here. And I want to be clear that I am not good with RSS feed and stopped using them long time ago and using patreon is kind of drag in my location. So if asking the question here has caused any kind of inconvenience for the dev of anyone, I apologize, but I still believe that my question was out of curiosity and confusion. I really appreciate the kind of work and length the developers go to make the games and posting here for free for us and they will always have my respect for their hard work. So I really want to this discussion to end here because it drags us down to a long path of arguments and steers this thread to kind of off topic and that is bad for any great community like this. You list all the things you are not able to or willing to do, for something that is otherwise free.

It is that kind of mindset that triggers around here and is by definition 'being entitled'. Free stuff usually requires more of something and not less, be it patience or willingness to accept limited download abilities,speeds or availability in general. It is the core of a sharing community and not only restricted to us here on F95, but at the heart of things like a torrent system etc. You have been the unfortunate one being picked on, since your posting was just a few after others basically asking something similar. It simply showed a lack of respect you otherwise claim to have.

My RSS hint was one of many possibilities to solve one's personal issues when it comes to updates. Your immediate response now is, you are not good at it. 'Then get better at it' is the answer to that. Lack of intelligence or ability isnt an argument in our times anymore, as others usually have made package solutions for them. So this is about unwillingness and not lack of ability.

Devs here come in 2 versions: Those that have monetization as primary issue and the other group, that sees it as support, but not as primary necessity. Where G28 stands is pretty obvious in this context, if one just reads first and posts after that. That group of devs requires a different currency in exchange though: respect and acceptance foremost.

I can say that I finished one of the two events, the other one is the wrap-up of the legislative proposal for polygamy. When that's finished, I'll put the public release out and then move back to College Daze for a bit. This will almost certainly be the last public release for Power of Will this year, with the next probably being at the end of January next year.

Sure i understand that the constant question of "when when when" can make someone lose patience, but he do owe to everyone who's showing interest and it's endorsing/playing it. Paying or not.

The only people he owes anything to are the people supporting him financially, this is a pirate site and there are countless devs who either hate and ignore the site, or actively try to make it impossible to play or mod their games. From School of Lust dev triple encrypting their game to prevent a fan made incest patch, to The Twist dev straight up threatening to dox anyone who pirates his game.

G28 isn't like them, he is generous, but generosity has the downside of abuse, there is only so much of being stepped on someone can take, and the people stepping on him are the ones using this site and similar ones.

Slightly off-topic but since this argument is so often wrongly used: F95 has changed a lot over the years and while it was much more a pirate forum a few years back, it has become much more a place for devs at the same time. The focus has heavily shifted in favour towards development and not as much hacking, cracking etc as it used to be. So any argument of it being a pirate forum has not much bite any longer, as it is heavily used to showcase one's stuff by now.

I was being facetious. But if you're going to take me seriously, then my point is that since "rights" can only be enforced by national or supranational organizations, and none of those organizations recognizes a right to porn, then people have no ground to demand it.
