I loved College Daze. This one, not so much.
The setting is sort of cool, but the game starts very roughly with you directly becoming the dictator of a country with not much interlude. Then you get introduced to (I guess) about 50 characters for whom you can pick a name and for a lot of them can choose out of a few background stories. Most of them only have one or two interactions and mostly directly lose any influence in the story. Like if there was an option to murder a character before you already KNOW this character can never be used to develop any plot points.
So far it feels a lot like a fuck, marry, kill game.
This is [insert name]. In the past she was [mean/nice/indifferent]. What do you want to do? Rape, kill or set her free? End of encounter, NEXT.
Like a video game where you can continue after the credits with your decked out character but there is not really any goal anymore so you start to randomly murder all the villagers.
