Their internal imageboard for reporting issues got flooded with so many people asking the same questions, they started throwing out bans. As a result, lots of doom-and-gloomers are guessing it won't ever get fixed and it's only a matter of time until Patreon does the same. My uneducated guess they need to configure some kind of proxy workaround, so the person sharing logs in on that, and then the scraper can appear like they're on the same region/IP. Pretty sure some people already do that for Netflix/Disney, but they block proxy service addresses from time to time. However, it's one thing for a few international friends to share a streaming service login, and another for a porn-sharing site to package it into a service to give porn-donators for free. Hopefully they figure out something soon.
