I don't know. I highly doubt Space Escape will ever be done. It's been in development for who knows how long, and the dev is still looking for a replacement engine.Space Escape vibes--and maybe this game and that one can race to see which will be finished
That really depends on the dev, I find. There are some developers that can remain silent for a long time and release stellar work after that period of silence. But the one I have in mind does not do Patreon, so there's that. Patreon introduces the temptation of milking your fanbase of money, unfortunately. It pays to make empty promises and draw out your development time.It has a lot of potential but when the developer is getting $1,765 a month from patrons and putting out posts like "Still not dead, if you can believe it!"
It doesn't bode.
Yeah, the heat death of the universe is a long time from now.I don't know. I highly doubt Space Escape will ever be done. It's been in development for who knows how long, and the dev is still looking for a replacement engine.

you're right! have a new demo ver0.08. and there is...New demo is up on Patreon, so I assume I can necro this. Hasn't shown up on the Dropbox, though.
This is a message from author it will give some informations about this update...Is there some new Content in this Version ?
Hope this helpsHey everyone!
So I was starting to get a sort of, psychological thing about updating the game til I'd done that animation for the wolf pharmacy worker, but after a couple months grinding my teeth I've realised it's really not the way I can work effeciently; my productivity slowed right down and I was so blindered by getting this one aspect, (one important aspect admittedly), that I had left everything else in favor of white-knuckling it through the animation.
Well, I'm happy to say it isn't done yet, because I took a step back and realised what I was doing to my productivity; the lesson here is evident, I opened back up into coding again and background objects and level design and I feel great!
And also, to properly get over my fear of uploading, have this:
That's a new version! It's rough, bare with me there'll be bugs and such for sure, but it's got more level to explore and some garbled person talking over the radio, and the text boxes are back in bug form along with the lighting, just a host of fun stuff to check out!
And no, it doesn't include the animation I'd been grinding on; I've taken a bit of a break from the grind of adult animating but I intend to get back to it when I feel recharged and ready, by which point I'll have hopefully done a load of other stuff to advance the state of the game as a whole!
Any feedback is always welcome of course! Do keep in mind it is a rough release, not as polished as I would have liked, but it gets to a point that you've got to snap out of cycles like that and carry on; which I intend to do!
Please come on over to the discord server and take a look at the WIP section for a more comprehensive list of stuff I'm working on and up to, not to mention come say hello, always nice to meet a new friend ^^
Yes, I am that unbearable in conversation too, and people will attest!
Anyway, I don't know how to end this so, hope you all enjoy what I've got so far! oh also there are secret areas now you have to walk into to reveal, 2 in all; happy hunting, and no spoilers! (they're just aesthetic but still, I plan to have areas that will be a whole other path through the same level if you find them in passing, which I think will be good fun for replayability and such and such; enjoy!
I found a secret are, but there is nothing of use there either, no enemies no nothingin the version 0.08, its keeps looping? i dont know how to get the second floor. (where the dog and the others enemies are)
That version puts you back at the beginning after you exit the pharmacy. You should get the key in the room with the hatch at the top of the ladder. Once you have that, you can go through the trains (from the starting place). Be careful though, because after you reach the platform on the other side (far right of the screen), you can easily fall through the map, with no way out but to exit the game and start over. You need to jump up on the platform and then you can enter the door that's there.in the version 0.08, its keeps looping? i dont know how to get the second floor. Where would that area be? In the area that you get to by doing what I just described there is the dog enemy. The enemy that's drinking and throwing soda cans at you.I found a secret are, but there is nothing of use there either, no enemies no nothing

Ah yes. That's the same area where the dog enemy also is. I believe you can go up there, but there's nothing there. You can then just drop down to where the dog is.here it is.You must be registered to see the linksYou can grab on the ledge, but it has no function
I did that by accident and was frustrated i skipped that part. Happened again with my next try, i was not amused. X3I suppose an easier way to enemies, or at least one enemy, would be to glitch through the hatch from the ladder after the vent. Just push away from the ladder and the mc should grab onto the ledge like so.
