The game is NOT cancelled/dead/abandoned. I don't want to talk about what it is or what exactly happened cuz i respect Towerfag and don't want to cause him trouble but again...game not dead, please have patience until everything is done.
Ok thanks for information. At least we now know that game still in progress and we gonna receive new update.

Yeah, people seem to get their jimmies all kinds of rustled if you look at this situation as anything other than MY GUY vs YOUR GUY. Some of us just want the fucking game, some people want one dude to "lose" for any reason that makes sense to them, and plenty of people on certain other forums just like stirring shit up and enjoying the digital fireworks. Either way, thanks for posting what I had thought about posting before rolling my eyes and reasoning that it wouldn't go anywhere productive.
Back to @Porn_Jesus, though. I really doubt you intended it to, but your first sentence really got my hackles up before I slowed down and read your follow-up. I was getting PC "nobody's allowed to talk about shit I don't agree with" vibes for a second. It's helpful to remind people that speculation can only go so far before becoming counterproductive, but neither do we need to complete a dissertation in order to discuss anything in a public forum (or whatever this qualifies as).
I actually agree with you. There's probably plenty that we don't know about that went on behind the scenes. But enough is known that I can also agree with @nashk; I love the game, was a patron for a while, and bought the preorder after I could no longer support it monthly. But it doesn't look like there are any good guys here...just different flavors of asshole doing what they think is right, or they have to, or just what they they think they can.

Isn't the new version done already? Is it just being held back by whatever's going on? If so are they still doing any work on it or has that stopped until whatever it is blows over?

And people are going to speculate, man. We hate leaving things unfinished. It fucks with our brains. Asking for proof is great, but telling people not to bother (especially with authoritative language) will probably give them the wrong impression. In the age of Feelz B4 Realz™ it is very easy to get sidetracked by nonsense like this. I'm hoping this explanation saves you (and anyone else who reads it) some trouble in the future.
I keep getting an error that wont let me start the game, "Script 'Yami Core' Line 157: Argument Error has Occurred. Time Must Be Positive" Any ideas on whats going on?
