VN - Ren'Py - Prison 69 [v1.0] [lovemann]

this was probably a demo project by the dev to try out his skills, then he left it there forever. it barely has any scenes, no animation. the graphics you can see is ok, but the only sucking you see are in the pictures. that's ALL THE GAME.

you have some choices but it either doesn't matter or the game ends right there. it's a 5minute game.

so as a 5minute game with barely any sexual content and even that is not congruent with the text, there is no reason to rate this more than 1/5. especially since i think this is an abandoned game. if it's not an abandoned game and gets more updates then i will update my rating too but so far this is not worth anyone's time even if its 79MB and 5min.

i spent more time writing this review than on the game lol.

I can't really rate this because it's not a game, it's more of a technical demo
And it still need A LOT of improvement... but it's a good enough start for a first time at 3D render and renpy

So let's star by the problem of every new dev on renpy, you need to add the habitual : more transparent textbox, color for each character name, maybe some music...
you need to exploit renpy, and not just use it's most basic fonction

You also need more renders to illustrate what the text say, because sometime the text and dialogue say something but the image don't show it
for exemple the face slap from the police officer, it's not shown, the image stay on the police officer not moving

And you need to work on your writing skills too, the scene are too short, not very descriptive, not a lot of dialogue

The render ( well the 22 present in this demo at least ) were not so bad, ok the texture are low res and the background and setup are pretty basic, but it still work, the poses are good, there is not much clipping, so the dev know the base of 3D rendering


If you think this is the maximum effort you are capable of and 3D rendering and using renpy, making game is probably not for you...
But if this was just a technical demo just to test some stuff, and that you know you can do far more for a bigger project, go for it
