- Programming in Ren'Py - I started learning this language as a personal hobby. I’ve built several class-based OOP frameworks for Ren'Py, primarily as part of my learning process. While newer features like Displayable, Sprites, and Live2D might still be challenging, I can pick them up over time through proper documentation.
- Programming in Python- When I first discovered Ren'Py, I realized that Python is a core component, so I spent the past 3 years learning both the engine and the language. I was able to use this when I worked as a backend developer for an outsourcing company for 2 years. I've dealt with projects such as an AI client prospecting tool and implementing features/bug fixes in a microservices architecture. I've also done unit testing and integration testing in my line of work.
- Programming in C#/Unity - During college, I spent a significant amount of time developing an Android-based game using Unity. It was my first time working with the engine and the language. I went through a lot of self-learning to be able to code the entire game by myself.
- Programming in Java - Java was the primary language taught at my university, so it was the first programming language I formally learned.
- Programming/Scripting in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP/SQL - I was also taught web technologies in school. I have experience working with all of these, though I prefer not to work in this area, as it's not really my cup of tea.
- Editing using Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects/Photoshop - Another self-taught skill. I used these tools mostly for school projects and, surprisingly, for a client project. Unfortunately, my current computer isn't powerful enough to handle heavy editing, which has limited my growth in this area.
- Keen Eye for Aesthetics/Details - Whether it's for school or work, I always pay close attention to visual quality and details. I strongly dislike delivering anything that looks subpar. You could say I’m both a master procrastinator and a perfectionist. I even get bothered by misaligned text until I fix it or make it look right.

Employment Type & Rates:
- I'm currently exploring whether I can commit to full-time work in this industry to support myself and my family. In my country, the typical entry-level salary for programmers is around USD 355–535/month (PHP 20,000–30,000). I'm open to starting at the base rate or something within that range. Rates are negotiable depending on the nature and situation of the project. Of course, once the project achieves financial stability, I believe it would be reasonable to increase the rate beyond this range.
- I’m also open to freelance opportunities if you need someone to complete specific tasks, investigate issues, or contribute in the short term.
Availability:
- Monday to Friday – 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM (GMT+8)
- Saturday to Sunday – 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM (GMT+8)
(For reminders, casual chats, or general contact. Please note that I might be unavailable at times due to chores or personal matters.)
Work Samples:
- I can try sharing examples from previous clients or personal projects upon request. However, please don't expect a full portfolio, as I haven’t had the chance to compile everything for safekeeping or presentation.
Additional comments:
- Feel free to send messages or inquiries anytime, regardless of my stated availability. I usually respond as soon as I’m available.
- I prefer working on 3D-rendered VNs (e.g., using Daz3D). These types of games typically rely on rendered scenes rather than sprites, which I’m not particularly fond of. I also see a growing trend in 3D-rendered VNs compared to 2D/sprite-based games. Examples of games I like working on include Summer's Gone and Being a DIK. That said, I'm open to sprite-based projects if the offer is fair.
- I'm most interested in collaborating with developers who are planning long-term NSFW VNs with episodic releases. I want to treat this work as a regular job, so long-term commitment is ideal.
- While I’m not the strongest in idea generation, I can contribute if needed. I prefer to leave creative direction to those better suited for it.
- I highly appreciate working with developers who are passionate about NSFW VNs because they genuinely enjoy the genre. I also hope to become a solo dev someday—just not in my current situation. Passion and dedication to the project are important to me.
- English is not my native language, so I apologize for any grammatical mistakes I might make.
- I’m a graduate of IT, helped other VN developers before, and worked for 2 years as a backend developer. My current skills align with that level, so please manage your expectations.
- While I’ve listed a variety of skills, I don't claim mastery over all of them. My strongest areas are Python and Ren'Py, where I have the most experience and proficiency.
- I just approached my Manager at my current work for resignation, so I'm just re-posting this thread in case it gets approved by June 27. But I'm willing to talk about VN work even before this date. I can then let you know once I'm fully out of my current work.
