a couple advantages of using the godot engine:
- decent cross platform support (major desktop operating systems, html5, Android, etc.)
- it's a general game engine similar to unity, you can make almost anything in it
- perfect for small to medium sized projects
- very hip & cool

none so far but I'm confident in my technical skills.
Additional comments:
Being able to communicate with one another is key, communication errors happen often enough even without language barriers.
That being said I'm not a native speaker myself.
I always wanted to make a game but lack the vision and any artistic skills, really ( sad ).
My goal here is to help people who have a vision + the artistic skills but lack the programming skills to realize their ideas.
