Hello,

I’m writing this thread to offer my services for free to work with programming and game development.

Why am I making this offer? I’m a university student currently learning programming. I only know Python at the moment, but I’ve already started studying C, and I’d love to gain real work experience and be involved in project development.

So, if you’re interested and can spare a little patience, I’m confident I can help with something while also learning more about work related to programming.

And, if you're not interested in having an "intern," so to speak, do you have any recommendations for someone just starting out in the world of programming, especially focused on game development?

Thank you guys! Keep up the good work!

You say you know python. you can always learn some renpy, write your own little game to get experience..
it doesnt need to be porn..
You can use other "good" games for learning as renpy games can be decompressed/decompiled.

If you want to be more hardcore and use the C language you could use something like SDL or RayLib
SDL for 2D games and RayLib for 3D games.
However since you don't know the language and is just starting to learn it. i would highly recommend against this.
You need some basics before diving into "complex" frameworks.
Keep in mind, sdl & raylib are frameworks. not game engines.

Offcource you could always take a look at some game engines as unity/unreal/godot etc.
