Ren'Py - Project Atmosphere [v0.4 P5 Beta2] [Dr MAD]

This game is beautiful. The characters are very well designed. The animations are not the best, but they are very well done. The developer, like some others, knows how to create an expression. Visually the game is excellent.

The prologue was a bit confusing, but promising. It made me very excited about what was to come. But as soon as the sandbox started, everything went downhill.

The writing really let me down, and I'm not even getting into the bad translation. With all due respect to the developers, they need a real writer to redo the dialogue and reconstruct some scenes.

It's annoying to see a 25yo guy who behaves like a 12yo boy. He keeps spying on women through the door like a perverted teenager but his "landlady" says that "he's an adult now" (!?!). The guy has been an adult for 7 years!!!! Also, the initial chat with Mark sounds like two 14yo boys.

Everything happens extremely fast.
He barely meets Susan and they are already walking hand in hand and on the second "date" they are having sex (and by the way, the reason she didn't get the job at the university and why Mark hired her, sorry but it's just stupid).

Amy meets the guy and has erotic dreams about him. He's barely met Betty and she invites him to her house to have sex. By the way, is she a pharmacist or a hooker? Her work clothes are completely transparent. So is Susan's. They're basically naked.

And last but not least, Jesse, his best friend since childhood, only realizes he's in love with her after she catches him spying on her in the shower every day.

The interactions with the girls are basically meet and fuck, with nothing in between.

I understand where the developer is going with some of the characters, but they clearly have no experience in writing and character development and end up rushing things and creating forced situations and unrealistic dialogue.

I couldn't past episode 1. It's unplayable.

The game has a lot of potential, it could be one of the best, but, to get there it needs another writer. I would like to give it 5 or even more stars, but for now, I can only give it 1 for the visuals.

When I started this game, I was met with a very well designed main menu. It immediately gave a certain vibe.

The game is well designed. The characters look excellent and the other graphics are also of high quality. The music brings a fitting atmosphere which only enhances the already interesting story. By working a lot with sandbox, I think that the momentum of the story is slightly lost, but luckily this sandbox is not very difficult. For example, the game itself has a cheat system so that you do not have to grind.

All in all, a top game. I don't give five stars very often, but this one deserves it.

Most girls are gorgeous and the sexl scenes are hot.

Susan is one of the most erotic heroines in a video game EVER.

I adored the trio with Susan and the pets, can’t get enough of it. Well done Dr, Mad, please bring us more such scenes and (why not) maybe even more bold and hotter.

High medium disgust the story does not explain anything or yes but very badly then when you think that the end ends the introduction and they can no longer bore you to death we start with sandbox and a lot of characters that should matter but how do they explain so shit no longer I wanted to continue, the only positive thing is the graphics, but if I want to play a game where I don't understand anything about its history, I'm going to elden ring.

Awesome Renders to watch at and gaze, specialy if you want to make Signatures with it and you dont know what to choose. From the defined Protagonists to the side Characters, its a hard choise. Well deserved praise to the Developer.

After half an hour in an intro where I didn't learn anything about what was going on, and an hour of actual gameplay where the "sandbox" was, talk to Bob about nonsense I don't care about, go to the cinema and talk to the employee who serves you popcorn, who is actually the daughter of a millionaire but likes to work serving popcorn because you have to start at the bottom(seriously???), go to....
I couldn't take it anymore, the graphics are pretty decent, other than that don't bother downloading the 7+ GB if you appreciate your time....

The prologue had me hooked i really wanted to see more, when the sandbox started i got a little sad, if you removed the sandbox this game would be almost perfect! The quality of it all is top notch none the less, which is why i will still be giving this a 5!

Just want to drop a 5 star to encourage the dev, very invested game, good graphic, interesting story. And the music is chosen smartly.
Still dont understand why it doesnt get enough attention it desereved thou.

Excellent visuals. So many girls, they look real. Freaking fanfuckingtastic looking girls. The lighting and complexion is spot on. They don't look like zombies. Oh, I just can't iterate enough how good this game looks.
But let's move to other stuff.
The game started very serious with supposed mystery and obfuscation, we'll it's to generate an air or mystery I guess but it came of as disconnected and pretentious (the vigilante part). So I skipped away a bit and to my surprise I discovered the the game was sandbox(ish), really it didn't look at all like that, not like it's bad but they tend to be grindy and you have to deal with the UI, which is not bad, just average. So I just skipped ahead all the way to a point (where having a date with a girl in a bath and seggs, oh I love her eyes, overall super hot girl) so I had my final wank for the day and call it quits for now.

Some people say the plot is good, idk, I just skipped ahead but to me it seemed the the text length was for me double of what's needed to be. I think I gotta take it slowly maybe. Maybe writing must be improved. Too much text to me is writing error, the plot, premise, logic etc. could be good don't let it dragging.
Anyways, the visuals are excellent, maybe a non sandbox(ish) game could be better. Like how AAA games add "RPG elements" to the detriment of the game, sandbox may do the same issue for this game. Maybe it just gives me and urgency to do the things on the quest list. Also the girls when not having to do something you just click and say "hello, I need to go" doesn't help.
I feel this game has tremendous potential. Because the girls, in terms of look and variety in this game are the best of the best or second to none. Or maybe I'm wrong about the visuals being the absolute best, because I haven't been playing unfinished games for a long time.

This game is getting better and better. The story is interesting and well written, and (from my point of view) it has the correct amount of text (not too much or too few). I love de renders, anf most of the girls are hot. It is obvious that the dev is making a great effort in this game.

This review is only from playing through Episode 1:

Honestly i loved the damn prologue so much, if the game and story was going in that direction i would love this game. Honestly i hope the dev makes a seperate game focusing on Stan as the main character, and of course Lilith ending up as one of the main LI's. At the moment though i honestly do not feel as invested as i started out with the prologue. Episode 1 started and i really felt a sence dissapointment....There's truly so much potential with how Project Atmosphere started but the result for me is lackluster.

All in all worth playing. Graphics are great. Realistic models with everyday body proportions. The plot is refreshing.
As far as the romance and foreplay it misses dept and realism. A shame it takes away the anticipation and thrill. Leaving in the end only engaging in more and more relations to keep the action flowing.

Overall a appealing game and Thumbs up.

I will never understand how a game with graphics as great as this one can be that bad. First thing first, the translation is poor even for someone that is not native, and it is hard to read for an also not native like myself. Second thing: When will devs learn that when you make an open world lewd game you need to put WAY more sex content than in a normal lewd visual novel, the grinding and slow pacing in this game is absurd, for instance the shower scenes man... I'm not going to extend myself because the game does not deserve a full review as it doesn't take itself seriously.

Plot: Starts more or less good but it is lost on the open world with slow pacing.

Sexual scenes: Insufficient and very short

Graphics: Great.

Characters: Plain, boring, unrealistics and inmatures.

Features: Made for slowering the game.

Cons:
1. Dialogues: Come oooooon, we dont need games where the char lifted her arms in the air and I have to read " Jesse lifted her arms in the air"....Seriously
STOP DESCRIBING! DO COMMENTS!
Let the visuals talk for themselves, all you have to do is comment the action taken in a humourous way. We are not retards - we can see what happens by the pictures.

2.The plot is very straightforward. Do this , do that. It gives you the impression of a sandbox game, seeing the map and the locations, while it is actually far from it. Very limited choises. The freedom out there is only WHEN to do the certain tasks, which is actually irrelevant.

3. The whole training process took a single bra cut and now our MC is the meanest badass of the whole universe. It will be really really good if the MC could train everyday at the Atmosphere , just like making money for a lousy restaurant, everyday. Yes, I dont mind a bit of a grind. Especially if the MC can specialise in different wepons.

4. No stats. The only stats out there are relationships , lust and love. How about Charisma, Strenght, Dexterity, Swords, Handguns....which could be used in the battles. Which leads to the next issue:

5.Battles are storyline. I know its a lot of work, but may be it is possible to make real battles out there, that depend on your prior training? Throwing dices and all that ?

6. MORE animations and BETTER animations. Despites the renders are outstanding in the year or 2021 people want to see animations, not just pics. And you didnt spend a lot of time there. It will be super nice if the animations are longer. Also some work on the interpolation is a must - begining and the end of the animation should be smooth so the whole scene goes in a loop.

1.Expressions! Expressions! Expresssions !!! Dude you are an expressions GOD! You deserve Oscar for expressions. I mean ....look at the scene with the upside down book and changing the focus to each other faces!
Brilliant ! Speachless! No dialogues needed ...nothing!
You are so good in expressions and yet you spoiled everything wirting scene descriptions....

2. Storyline - 10/5. Breathtaking . It keeps on your toes most of the time.

3. Characters and renders 10/5. Man , I had serious issues choosing between Yui and Jesse. Considering Jess was seen in other games, still most of the characters are super well rendered. Great bodies, realisitc tits...even their pussies are not super vanila. You know how to play with the lighting and focus (Mom masturbating in this crotchless pantyhose...yummie)

4. Creativity.
Stan's tattoes! Android faces! The props in the Atmosphere!
Flawless !

Overall:
Incredible game. Despite all my cons above (more of them are actually suggestions), this game stands out as one of the best , so far. Enourmous amount of work for creating such a masterpiece done !
Appreciation should be in order !

Renders are nice and setting is certainly to my taste but where is the "broken English" tag when you need it?
Dialogues are barely readable. It's pretty impossible to immerse yourself in the game world, when every 1 sentence out of 3 looks like output from google translator.

Needs proofreading - badly.

wasn't a big fan of this at first even though i was kinda wowed by the screenshots atleast but played the most recent release and really enjoyed phoebe and alice. hope to see more of them. susanne and monica are pretty good too but the other characters don't really stand out for me.

However, yepp the render are amazing . For me that´s more a nice to have than something i must have.

Story is ok, so far i like the gameplay.

I don´t like the science fiction part so much, but that´s more my problem.

Characters and cup-sizes also pretty well.

I hate having to give a game with such potential such a low score, but if the literally second sentence in the game is already bad English, I just can't spend hours on it. It's honestly a shame, there aren't enough SciFi VNs on this platform.
