I'm not saying that pure blonde or silver hair color will make every character "cute", but to make them "badass" with pure blonde hair you have to completely change their entire design. (For example, the "iroquois" hairstyle (or how is it on the english) would be perceived differently with this color.) And we're talking about a street gang "alpha bitch", not some cool amazonian anime warrior. That's why I can't imagine her hair being pure light "clean" color. By the way, anime style is very different from 3D/photorealism, and lives by slightly different stylistic rules — this is clearly visible when you try to transfer 2D-anime characters into 3D-anime. Therefore, it is better to use 3D renders and photorealistic images as examples.

I hear you and agree when comes to having to change overall design but my point is that we haven't seen Kate's overall design, your example is better then mine because it's 3D instead of 2D but if you were to only to take the head from your example I feel a lot of people would not view her as badass as before, Her tattoos, clothes and abs add to her aesthetic. I'm not saying that a light colour hair is the best for her but I'm saying that until we see her overall design we can't determine if she wouldn't look badass with it.

Also I like breaking the mold. I don't necessarily want the full amazon face shape for Kate, that was never my vision of her. Kate's a badass, and it has nothing to do with her face! #curbstomp

I'm not saying to have an amazon face just one that maybe has sharper features. There's a character in this game Taffy Tales named Brinda, she's got this bitchy face but she isn't really a bitchy person she just has sharp features and even Kendra from The Red Room, her features are kind of amazonium but they fit her character really. Again I'm not saying to have her specific features but a tone down version of them may add some grit to Kate.

Yeah, I completely agree with you! I just wanted to convey that if you take a blonde hair color, it is better to be "dirty" blonde for our goal to choose the right vibe; and if you take a gray hair color, it is better to be darker "dirty" gray, but in no case light gray/white colors — they make the character more "purist" in my opinion, and we want to get a tough street gang futa fighter. But CoffeeCurse already said that they will play with colors and hairstyles a little bit more, while I write the answer

Hmm. Alright, it's fine for me.
Doesn't get me as riled up for her as the lighter hair, but will have to see how it looks when it's all said and done.
Still hoping the light hair on dark skin works out, I think it has the best essence overall.
I agree that the headshot alone doesn't give the overall outlook of her imposing essence, too. We don't have the complete vision you have, so we can only give feedback based on a small fragment.
The most important thing is you need to get that feeling for yourself that, "Yes! this is the look!"

But yes, the hype around this game is legendary!
I think it's impossible for me to even try and downplay it for myself after everything we've talked about up to this point.

So I'm a little late to this amazing thread, but I wanted to throw my two cents in on the Attribute Theft/Transformation part of the game, since that's what I'm most interested in as well. I don't know if you have any kind of interest in muscle growth/height growth, but I think that's a great way to show some of the changing dynamic between Laura and Kate.

You can have it going either way, with Kate trying to push Laura around on something, before realizing she's now eye level with her, and Laura is looking a lot more buff than she remembers...

Or Laura is trying to give orders to the gang about something when Kate challenges her on it, and she has a hard time keeping her composure when she's looking up to Kate's chin and realizing how strong she is.

The last person I'd be interested in how they change would be Dom Hailey. I'd love to see something alongside a bigger dick, like curvier or taller or something, maybe as she gets more confident. Perhaps some kind of progression for her as she goes from being the little sister, to wanting to be the biggest sister, to deciding she's the man of the house now.

I'm sure trying to make all those models would be murder for you though, especially with how much quality you've had in them all so far, but I just wanted to throw ideas out there. Everything looks amazing so far, I'm just excited to see where it all goes.

AND YES! Great examples!! Kate and Laura are likely going to be "tapping into" eachother often as they rival one another. Thought I make it known often that their "rivalry" is mostly playful--they aren't out to actually kill eachother! (...... yet..... )

The models are too big of an issue, part of what takes me so long to make them initially is that I make sure they are future proof. I document everything about them so I can always find my way back if needed! Difficulty would make attribute theft changes permanent and variable depending on decisions. That is frankly impossible for me as a solo dev. So... transformations will either be temporary (not necessarily for a single scene, it could be for an entire episode in some cases) or in some cases permanent. I see permanent changes being 50/50. 50% of the time, they'll likely come from the main story. And the other 50% will come from supporters voting on polls based on a selection of scenes provided!

2 OPINIONS NEEDED: Kate Hair Color Part 2 & Jessica Body Type

Okay here we are again! Thank you everyone for the help so far, now you see how much of a perfectionist I am!

OKAY! So I fixed the hair shader issue, now the hair should be less "flat" and ugly. I'm going for Kate to have very straight and fine hair, so I went with this style (as I already have multiple characters with "hanging bangs hairstyles")! However there is a hidden/invisible pair of twin bangs on her that I can whip out if I want (say she's leaning forward and a flock of her hair drops with gravity)!

A & B have had the eyebrows changed to a softer color more closely resembling her paler hair color. However they are slightly darker on purpose. 1, because it's modern fashion of eyebrows. And 2, because if they are too light, they make her look like a clown and her expressions aren't shown well!

Also do you like this hairstyle better or worse? I can move the shaders to the previous hairstyle if preferred.

This color has a more "red" tone and has her natural roots exposed, which makes the color less "jarring" in my eyes. I can move how far the roots go to show more or less!

Okay so this is just another general thing I'd like an opinion of! Jessica (part of your crew) will be one of your FIRST sex partners/love interests. She's a fully fleshed out character that will last the entire game, but to avoid the first update being a "handjob/no sex update", I needed to build a character that you could do the naughty with early on.

So... thoughts on a slimmer version or a thickker version? Something in between. Remind you, that Jessica is fairly shorter than the rest of the crew, and is also a complete slut!
