Not true with the hair dying! Actually quite the opposite really... A single color hair dye is the cheapest and easiest to do. It's usually a "do at home" procedure. Idk how much time you spend in salons, but like I said: that's called a root stretch. It's an intentional darkening and showing of the roots that blends into the desired color. Its akin to Ombre coloring or a gradient coloring. It takes like 3-4 hours in the chair. In my understanding, white as well as silver hair color is associated with coldness and calmness of character. It doesn't necessarily have to be passive calmness. For example, if she is aggressively intelligent and calculating, silver would definitely suit her. If she spends a lot of time on her look to attract women, then the roots should be dyed. Also, it's not a natural human color, which will make her stand out from the crowd and draw attention to her, which also fits your description. Red would work too, but then maybe it should be a little brighter or in other shades.
That's usually how I think when I'm creating characters. Again, I apologize if I'm intruding in your work.![]()
As someone who does get their hair dyed every few weeks, trust me...I know this stuff. Full one-tone colored hair looks cheap and ratchet AF!!
As for color representation, I can understand that 100% But I also don't like living by the constraint of it. I like breaking the mold. I want the chatacters to break stereotypes sometimes.
Good point on the red. I could dial it up a bit.
ALSO I LOVE THE FEEBACK! Really appreciate it!!!! <3
