VN - Ren'Py - Project Myriam - Life and Explorations [Ch. 5.03+p] [Zorlun]

The amount of choices is realy cool. scenes are good, no animations but didnt matter since the rest was close to perfect for me.
The characters are pretty good, their names are funny so it can slightly set you off when you read them. playing a mother is refreshing and the writing is quite good, i didn't notice many english mistakes ( i know i saw a big one in the beginning but i can't recall what)

This is the first review i make. I am new to the porn games world but played now about 10 games. This is the first game i finished. What a great game it was. A lot of fetish , i love extreme porn so the kinks in here are so good : Anal, Atm,DP,DAP,Pee,even bestiality . That is what i like to see in games. The corruption is really good , you can turn the MC in a real slut or not. The animations are good and the writing is good. I did not care if the english was bad anyway it is not my first language too. The graphics are not the best but very good. The MC look real good.
I have to say thanks because for a first game i finished it is a great start.

V. Ch3 0.02a(patched) Reviewed

This is 100% one of my guilty pleasure games. I subconsciously divide Ren'Py games into those I play for enjoyment, and those I play for a good fap, and this somehow bridges the gap between the two, with a bias toward the latter.

There are a bewildering number of stats to track in this title, and I'm not sure how many of them are actually leveraged in how the game branches, as many of the actual available paths appear to be determined more by prior choices than the actual kink score. That said, there is definitely content that is gated by points, but it's not really clear what threshold the player needs to achieve to unlock them.

This is a minor complaint really. For pure sexual deviance, the dev has let his freak flag fly in the most glorious of ways, and Myriam can be as fucked up twisted as you want her to be, up to and including fucking her dog, horse, half her students, her family, and anyone else she stumbles across in her day-to-day.

There is no slow burn here. Literally from the first episode, Myriam finds herself glazed like a donut from a mentally disabled stranger in her shower stall at a hotel while her husband relaxes oblivious in their room.

And therein really lies the rub. Myriam has already explored so many kinks that there's really nowhere left to go from here. She's been raped, gangbanged, humiliated, beaten, dommed and subbed by damn near everyone in her circle now, so my worry is that Project Myriam will run into the same brick wall The Adventurous Couple did: Once a certain line is crossed, it'll become increasingly difficult to make sufficiently escalating or shocking content with the protagonist that doesn't feel like it's been done before.

The above is the ONLY thing keeping this title from getting the fifth star from me, and I'll happily (fappily?) revise it to five star level if Zorlun proves me wrong. And I'm almost betting he will!

As far as fap games go, this one covers so many kinks most players will find something to break out their box of tissues for. Further, the dev is exceedingly regular with his updates and I can see his skills improving as he gets more confident in the medium.

The art started out a bit rough, but has improved with time as we see in many first projects. Myriam's recently-updated hairstyle makes her far more attractive than she was for the bulk of the game.

The writing is competent enough, but nothing fantastic, and it doesn't really have to be given the sheer porn scene density here. While there are no true animations, and lots of alternating two-scene sex acts, they are universally erotic and messy which appeals to my particular tastes.

I have been his patron for a long time now, and I don't see that changing.

It was slow at CH1 , but it's getting better now .
It shows that the developer is making progress , this is very great .
The art modeling is amazing and the story is amazing too .
The potential is huge and worth collecting .

Great game. With a fascinating plot, amazing branching, good graphics.

Quite an entertaining game! Love Myriam <3 I hope the author makes this game more fleshed out and takes Myriam in new directions and situations, etc.. I sometimes find this game hilarious.. Some humor would be nice as well.

I like this game a lot, I especially love the paranormal/supernatural elements. I also like the character development / interactions, and how they affect the direction of the story. Looking forward to the next update.

Good choice selection and the ability to turn off stuff you don't want to see or avoid it with the right choices. Also, a personal thing, I'm glad there is no incest (Anthony isn't the MC's son but her Anthony's from a previous relationship). I'm not a fan of the thinly disguised "landlady" games.

The images are good and the MC is a beautiful lady. Many thanks @Zorlun There are plenty of sexy scenes together with some that are, necessarily, dark. I'm looking forward to see where this goes now that the MC is free of Anthony and experimenting with her freedom plus, depending on choices, dabbling in drink and drugs... Nice to have a Ren'Py game that works this well without having to plot your way around a board to get content!

Now this is a lively ride; even the MC would agree, I think, in those brief, restful moments in the shower she has between irrumations. No slow burn here, things start at a clip and just go faster, with lots of sloppy sex. Renders are good, although there seems to be a lot more care taken with the women - they're much more expressive and subtly posed than the men

It's a VN with some choices. There's a lot of stats under the hood, but you don't need to worry - generally the choices are pretty clear. You like aliens? You can have aliens, but if not, don't worry about it. The basic premise is nice mommy gone wild. There are a number of VNs with the same story on this site, the heroine's journey into depravity. I think this is one of the best.

No world-building ambitions. The Dev keeps things tight and well-organized.. Very episodic. There's a fair bit of grotesque humor that keeps things from being too serious. The dialogue is designed to move the story along. Major kudos to the Dev for keeping things fast, fun and lively.

Flaws? Well, I've already noticed it starting to get a little repetitive, I mean, there's nothing really happening story-wise other than contriving to get the MC on her knees, and then her showertime soul-searching afterwards. There are moments where the dialogue doesn't fit the render - makes me think that parts have been rushed. As for the MC, I'm not that fond of her lack of discrimination. I mean, she's a striking woman, you'd think that if she's having one affair with the teen stud next door and another with a rich stable-owner, she wouldn't need a hobo appetizer. This is a problem common to all games of this type.

One thing this VN does make me think about, is the question of how well the model suits the character. The MC is a model I haven't seen before, which is refreshing. She's unconventionally beautiful, a big, strong, fit woman, a former athlete. You'd think with such a physical presence she wouldn't be such a stranger to sexual freedom. Not to mention that she's more than capable of physically dominating most of the lecherous men she encounters. It's weird that she's so... fragile. I dunno, but I think a more fitting model would be more delicate, a Grace Kelly type (sorry, all my reference points are from Hollywood's Golden Age). It seems weird that the emotional, conservative, church-going mother who ends up half-pulled half-leaping into sexual freedom would look like she could hold her own in WWE. Okay, I'm probably overthinking; it is an erotic VN after all.

And as an erotic VN it totally does what it says on the tin.

So, I played this just now. It looked good on the surface, but i was disappointed. It's pretty much your typical female MC game, and not in a good way.

Pros:
- There are a lot of choices. There is a stat for almost everything, character relationships, fetishes, MC's personality etc.
- The renders are pretty nice.
- A wide variety of fetishes.

Now let's do the cons.

A pro of this game is the number of choices and stats. But that's also it's negative. A lot of the stat requirements are unreasonably high, for example if you don't have 10 "Dirtiness"" points, you don't get scene X so it just skips over it or blacks out a choice so you have to take another route. That is also true on the inverse, sometimes if you do have enough points, it automatically does a scene without a choice to avoid it. So, in reality, this game doesn't have as much choice as it initially appears to have. You just skip content, and there is no alternative content to make up for it. You lose out on stats, and will be blocked in future scenes even if those scenes have nothing to do with each other other than awarding the same stats.

When I read the games description, I assumed this would be a gradual corruption game. A MILF who is sheltered gradually turning into a slut. Nope, not even close. This games story doesn't make sense to me and the characters aren't the brightest or deepest to say the least. It's pretty much sex scene to sex scene. No real buildup or plot to be had other than minor filler between the sex scenes. It just tries to cram as many fetishes ahd characters into the game as possible, everything from a mentally challenged giant hillbilly guy to dogs to aliens and of course the standard creeps female protag games tend to have, and these ones aren't well done IMO.

Choices are nice, until you don't have one or are blocked because you didn't make the right ones. Characters are shallow, including MC, they jut exist to corrupt her and she exists to be corrupted. And, honestly, she's pretty damn corrupt in the start of the game. Corruption needs to be reasonably built-up, no such thing in this game. One sex scene to the next.

So, the TLDR is this game looks nice, but it's just that. It looks nice. If you like the kinks, which are of a good variety, you'll like the game. If you like story's and character development, then you probably won't. 3 stars, maybe 2.5 but I do generally like the art and I didn't have any bugs.

Such an amazing game, a must play for the stat-lovers, even if not sure they really matter that much. The game has something for everybody fetish-wise, and seems like you can avoid some of them if they arent your thing. The models arent my favorites, but the rest of the game is so well.made that at the end it doesnt matter that much.

I think this is the first game I see with a DAP. And despite all the smut, it still manages to have a story and great prahics. Gotta love it! I can't say Myriam is the prettiest character I've seen, but I definitely follow her adventures avidly!

A diamond in the rough. I feel bad rating it 3 stars, it's definitely not an "average" game, but it lacks polish, so it's not quite 4 stars for me. The game has good bones though, and with a bit more effort, it could be great. The renders aren't going to win any beauty contests, but they're decent, the writing is alright, but it might benefit from some editing. I'm not someone who needs great animations, but I kind of hate this 2-frame morphing thing. If you're not going to make real animations, I'd rather have static renders than this.

The biggest thing this game has going for it is player expression and choice. That doesn't necessarily mean every choice you make leads to radically different outcomes, but you get to contextualize what happens and how your character reacts to it. It's sad that this is a praiseworthy thing, but it's actually pretty rare. The game constantly throws choices at you and asks you how your character feels about it or how she wants to react and it's great.

But the stat changes that go along with these choices are another of the game's problems, since the requirements for certain options are tuned incredibly tight and you have to min-max and pick options you actually don't want to unlock certain scenes later on. You pretty much have to pick all the preceding +Lust options in the game for the 25 Lust choice with the dog for example, which kind of hurts the whole player expression thing. The 10 Cum scene in the dressing room is another example of this.

Also, some of the choices are just bullshit and you're basically cucking yourself by picking them because they literally just skip scenes and a ton of stat increases without anything to make up for it. Prime example being the very first sex scene with Hillbilly Hulk in the shower. You can either go do the sex scene and get a bunch of stats or skip it and get like 2 Loyalty points, which don't seem to do anything in the first place. I was hoping you would get a different or extended scene with the husband instead, but no, it's literally just a content skip.

The relationship with the husband is another problem. You get the option to be faithful to him and even its own stat, but the game seems to want to push you not to do that by making you skip content and other people constantly telling you that he's terrible and you should cheat, etc. If staying faithful to him is an option, it shouldn't punish you by giving you less content. Either make alternate content or don't have it as an option. The game is semi-decent at still giving you sex scenes even if you don't want to cheat, but some stuff just gets skipped over, and it feels bad. The standard Ren'py UI for all the stats is also pretty terrible and could do with an overhaul.

After all the complaining, let me end with some positives. Again, lots of choices and opportunities to mold your character, and it's not just a binary between the slut and the normie option. Most of the sex scenes are pretty hot and kinkier than most games. There's bestiality, incest, misogyny (real and internalized), all the good stuff. The game is pretty big on porn and low on plot, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Overall it's a fun time. I'll keep up with it and see if some of the kinks get worked out.

This is one of the best VNs I've played.
The quality of the images, writing, and choices makes this a prime "choices matter" project. So many niches are provided that I can't stop making so many saves to see the different paths.

Good so far though it'd be a bit more interesting and real if the freshly thrown out husband that assaulted her had some more parts to "complicate" her life with. Also maybe a few sandbox breaks to give more versatility to her story.

The only bad thing I can think of is that it isn't a slow burn.

It has all kinds of kinks, it's face paced but still makes sense in it's own way. Decisions have meaning. You can make Myriam a goodie two shoes or an utter slutty woman. The great thing about it tho' is that it doesn't stop there.
It' s not the one or the other but all kinds of in between. Every step, every decision, makes a difference.
You want her to be a strong woman. Then she is.
You want her to get on her knees for anyone or anything like a good submissive. She will.

It deserves several playthoughs just to get certain scenes unlocked, certain paths opened.

Additionally, the renders and models aren't ones you'll have come across time and time again.

I'm looking forward to see just how kinky, loving, passionate, demure, wild, modest, dominent and submissive one will be able to make her.

Sex scenes: You will come before you fap.
Fetishes: Includes almost everything and represents them pretty well.

It is normal for games like these to have flaws. Hopefully things will improve.

One of the best female MC game on this site. The writing is good, the pace is a little slow but not too slow. The character development could have been worked on a little more. The renders are good, but this game could use some good smooth animations then it would be 10/10 game no doubt. Besides that the game a lot going on for it many choices and branches excited to see where it all goes. I recommend playing it.

This game is really good, although I can't quite give it 5 stars. The models are pretty good, although they look a little weird to me sometimes - maybe the MC's nose is a little small? Not sure, but overall pretty good.

There's not much story to speak of - mainly just a series of events that puts the MC in sexual situations. There's a pretty good variety of kinks available here, and I like the little table in the top left that lets you check all the kink, etc. levels quickly.

There are a LOT of choices here, so I recommend playing with the walkthrough mod to get a sense of their impact (although I did have an issue with that that's already been noted on the thread).

The main nit I have with the game is the accent added to the MC's dialog. I guess it's supposed to sound like a Texas accent, but it always sounds (well reads) to me like a c-level actress trying to sound like Scarlett O'Hara. But again, that's a nit.
