VN - Ren'Py - Project Myriam - Life and Explorations [Ch. 5.10+p] [Zorlun]

Reviewing Ch. 2.03a

I cannot recommend this VN enough, it was simply amazing for me and here are a few reasons why:

• Corruption pace is great! Fast enough to enjoy and not feel it is weird or out of place
• Significant branching choices leading to different juicy scenes, from what I saw, sometimes when you make a choice that gives Myriam more time in her day, something actually happens and it doesn't just skip time! You don't see that very often!
• Great fetishes being added slowly
• No grind!
• Myriam is friggin hot! And you can shape her traits and kinks as you desire
• The side-characters are also well-written in my opinion and I have not seen any repeated presets from other VNs (could be wrong here)
• Your choices also affect how other characters treat Myriam and affect their kinks as well
• Great and dedicated developer with regular updates

As for some nitpicks

• Okay maybe the idea is not very original, but the execution sure is, give it a chance before bailing out
• The art is sometimes "grainy", but it doesn't bother me, the dev did say it is their first work

This game has charm and character that many others don't. It's hard to stand out as a Ren'Py title, but within the first few scenes/choices I've already experienced 2 unique situations that I've never experienced in any other game.

(Spoilers? but this happens fairly early)

1. Myriam has an altercation and must choose how she responds to the person who helps her

2. Deciding not only how advances should be received, but also observing/responding to observations of other characters. (regarding the cousin)


These aren't very substantial scenes but the x-factor is that they're unique and memorable. It feels like the creator actually wanted to create this story because they thought it was appeasing rather than dialed in and formulated.

Not everyone is going to enjoy this story, but for me I find that it's a unique Ren'Py story that feels like it's created from a place of interest/passion rather than formula and what would appease the masses.

I love the kinkiness, I love the unique situations, and I'm happy that the developer has released a Ren'Py game that stands way out from the crowd.


If you're well 'journeyed' on this site, you can probably think back to your favorite Ren'Py games and recall some sort of memorable scene (The photocopier scene from 'Light of My Life' stands out) and I think this game hits that note perfectly.

Great job Zorlun, I love it and despite the content's purpose I still think this is a great Ren'Py game that oozes character and care behind the game.

It's hard to keep my attention with VNs and this game does it very well.

I stumbled upon this game the first day it was released and I knew after playing it, I had found something different. It's hard to put your finger on exactly why this is different, but for me, I think it's because the developer is willing to experiment and not take themselves too seriously. Plus, they are also very engaged with the community and willing to interact and discuss various aspects of the development.

At it's core, the story is very similar to lots of other game/vns out there, yet each scenario seems to have subtle twists and surprises. There is also a "strange", X-Files kind of vibe to it if you want, and this, I think, is why this works. You can play the MC as being sexually vanilla, submissive, kinky, cheating, weird or all of the above. There are even alien abductions!

The best part is you can opt out of all of it. If you want the MC to just be faithful and into vanilla sex, you can do that. If you like a little strange thrown into a standard story, you can have it. If you want the MC to be submissive, you can have that too.

If you don't like aliens, you can have the MC skip it entirely. It seems like the dev is going to give all the weird deviants, like myself, the option to insert some weird into the story, but at the same time, those scenes do not seem to impact the overall story. So you can skip those and never notice.

For me, when I play a Female MC, I like the option of having the character being strong yet she can be a slut at the same time. I like for MC to be able to choose what happens to her and not be forced into things she does not want to do. So far, this is the case with this game/vn.

The only thing I have some concern about, is all the variables. There are a ton of different traits and points the MC earns along the way and I just worry that as the game progresses, it could get messy and frustrating for the player. I would also like to see some bondage/rope/toy play but I am hopeful these will show up eventually.

In the meantime, you should download and give this a try. Expect different and enjoy.

Pretty alright, if uninspired.

Art's a bit weak; bodies have good form but faces are potatoes that get worse when emotions are attempted, and some bits look bizarre (a nipple here, a palm there...).

Writing isn't stellar but is surprisingly good given the professed second language. Scenario's been done, narrative is weak and full of conveniences, but the voice and characterization are fine.

Porn's fine.

Like the skill-ups for kinks and attributes but the notification is too spammy when turned on and inconsequential when turned off. There's gotta be a comfortable middle ground somewhere.

TLDR: Better than expected. Godspeed.

Here's another great game that I can truly recommend. Great original graphic art and what's promising to be a riveting and sexy story with plenty of fetishes available.

A female protagonist that is thrown into lewd situations and a path of corruption (don't worry it happens fairly quick). Also lots of choices with impact on future choices and story development.

So far the game is very very good. The art improves a bit during the game, which usually happens in games that were in development for a long time, which is not really the case with this one. It's certainly good news that the game has a good amount of content being just a couple of months old. I'm looking forward for the next releases.

This is a visual novel, and the richness of this genre lies in the variety of choices you can take in order to construct the character and the plot; that being said, Project Myriam is, by far, fulfilling this task as the story advances.

The plot's premise is simple yet the situations in which MC (Myriam) are varied, interesting and have cohesion, even when some of them are surreal, which shows not only creativity but also a hard-to-extinguish arsenal of narrative resources.

The MC is coherent and her changes are response to the player's decisions, other characters are consistent and have some depth, enough to enrich the game, but not too much to take unnecessary spotlight. Also is important to take in account that visually the characters aren't generic, renders are well treated in terms of light, image composition and color.

No bugs in the game, even in early stages of release.

There is a noticeable effort in grammar since characters don't have neutral accent, so idioms are a common place. There is little music but the texts are well made so the game play is not affected.

In all account the game is a fresh breeze and has a high level of detail, specially decision-wise, characters are original and to this date (Ch.2 v0.1a) doors are open to a very interesting branching, will have to wait how all of those alternations result.

This game is a great surprise for me.
I really enjoy how the dev is building character's personality.
The sex scenes are great, even though, I always expect to be "longer" and more sophisticated.

The plot flows and it is credible.

I expect to see more hardcore scenes and less romantic shit.

Wow! The basic premise of this story is great and there's a ton of potential for future storylines for Myriam. I gotta give this 5 stars for the curvy goddess MC and the generally sexy situations that she gets into. As for feedback, I feel like there are a few too many variables and the accumulation of one stat doesn't necessarily cater to a specific kink, meaning you'll have to play scenes you're not so hot on to access scenes you are hot on (ie you have to get raped by your husband to accumulate points early on...I personally think it'd be more effective if the variables related to your husband can be wholly unique from variables for other paths...i.e., I'd love to tell him to go fuck off from day 1 and still get all scenes from the independent woman route). Also, the English is a bit bumpy and the early renders are somewhat basic, although it seems like newer installments have much improved on those fronts.

After some updates i have decided to write a bit about my own thoughts on the game, so take it as a opinion, not facts.

Sofar im a great fan of the game, the MC is a gorgeous and attractive women without being super model Gissele like. She has believable flaws both in her apearance and personality. The story isnt of the "never seen that" variety, but that doesn't matter as it is well done. There are some points of critique, mostly about some of the gameplay elements, yet overall its a net positive for me.

So what does the game do good:

• it has a believable MC
• MC is attractive, and several side characters are also attractive.
• MC's personality isn't just a blank slate, but can be molded.
• Story so far has been good.
• It caters to a wide audience in terms of fetish (Sub/Dom, MF/FF, etc)

So what are the nagatives? Well for me its only realy one at the moment, that is the whole scoring system.

To explain, lets just say that if you want to play a scene in some way, you must have the required score in one or more stats, kinks or traits. In theory that is all fine, but in reality this will force you to play in a predefined way or you wont be able to get the scores needed. This is very evident in choices where you may want to only play FF scenes, but find that you must play scenes with the jerk husband and cheat with a sleazeball just to get some scenes later on or fear having not enough in some stats. At the start of the game this isn't as much an issue, but as the game gets longer, those point barriers will become larger and larger, gating content one want to see behind a unattainable stat score.

I personally had to replay the game start to finish several times on auto skip just to get one lust point for a scene, this forced me to play events i didn't want to play just to "farm" points in a stat. This is what inherintly makes this system a bad choice for the game, and should perhaps be reviewed in the future on wether to keep it or not.

That is my only criticism for the game, but overall it still gets a 4 star review from me. Keep it up, and good luck dev.

Really nice Pictures and intelligent story. You don't get that this is his first 3d project. I really like the mother figure and the whole family constuct. I'm looking forward for next episodes, keep on developing buddy!!

I enjoyed this game so far, props to the dev for a really good game. There are a lot of kinks in this that I like, so that's a plus. MC is pretty hot too. Everything else has already been said in previous reviews, so I'll keep it short. I just wanted the dev to know I appreciate all the hard work! Can't wait to see what the next update brings.

Just finished the 0.2.5.a version of the game. First of all, THANK GOD that you created new characters with original faces. Second, the story was brief, but good. The only thing that I, personally, don't like about this game or some other games is the level of exaggeration in the characters' bodies. Crazy big dicks and breasts. But, as I told, it is just a personal opinion.

This game is just what ive been looking for. A milf protagonist that you control and gives you many choices to make with characters she meets. Even though it hasnt been out that long it still has more juicy action than games that have been out for 3 years and Myriam has already done some fooling around without just the "rapist" husband.
This dev is very good and he updates his game monthly all by himself and is on the message board daily answering everyones questions, which is very commendable. I would put this game in my top 5 already and cant wait to see what dirty situations Myriam gets into next. The only thing I dont like is the husband & wish you could ignore him completely but he did say that will be an option later in the game.

I really like the game. I like games with a female protagonist. It is just beginning, but it is developing rapidly. Miriam's character is exciting. The graphics are very good. Sex scenes are exciting with different variations. There are many paths. The big currency is the relatively short time between updates

+ Great Female MC
+ Great Renders and characters
+ Many sexual scenes
- Some scenes seem unavoidable despite your choice, such as the husband

I really like the use of that hair that seems new and experimental (dunno much about daz) It looks so real and in shower scenes looks actually like real wet hair.

I gave it 2 for the models but I can;t go higher.

When I play a fem protag I like to self insert, pick the choices I would and do my power fantasy stuff and occasionally there are some really awesome female protag games that allow me to do that.

This is not one them.

It's your typical retard in lecherville. She does dumb stuff and ends up in a position to either get raped or groped or perved on in some way.

Every single guy she meets is a creepy pervert, every .. single .. one. There wasn't one decent guy and no G/G stuff at all.

She goes from very nearly being raped at a motel to going back to her room to her own husband trying to rape her and that should have set the tone but I carried on.

Her son is a proper creepy twat, films his mother pissing type of creep.

She helps a kid avoid the police and potentially gets sexually assaulted by him.

Has 3 college kids perving on her thinking their luck is in.

Then she gets groped in the massage room and then has an old guy perv on her.

It's a typical corruption game and should be tagged as such.

Every single guy she meets either rapes, tries to rape, gropes or assaults her. Choices barely mean anything and the routes seem to be she turns into a cumdump willingly or is forced into being a cumdump.

There is no depth, characters are shallow and all follow the same mindset and she's dumb as fuck.

Anyone expecting any depth or actual character development should look elsewhere. Normally even if I don't like something i'll tell those following me to make up their own minds. Here i'd feel terrible if I told anyone to play it.

That being said if you like basic plots with a dumb bitch to turn into a drooling cock sleeve, this is for you.

Edit - Going to leave my original review in place so people can see the games growth and how jumping the gun can be an issue.

As a woman it's rare we get really good female leads that have complete control over what goes on. When this first started all signs pointed towards typical corruption cum dump game.

While you can certainly play that way, Zorlun has given an incredibly surprising amount of control in how you grow Myriam to suit your own playstyle.

What started out as a basic corruption game now has my Myriam on course for an incredibly sweet lesbian relationship and the ability to kick people that treat her like shit out the door.

The whole thing with Myriam and her husband was seriously well done. There were numerous ways to handle it and it worked out well.

Basically nothing is forced and you can have everything from loving interactions to hot one night stands to orgies and even some beast content if you're into that.

So I stand corrected from my earlier review. Myriam has turned out to be a fantastic character in a game that lets you play how you want. Zorlun has done a great job and i'm glad he stuck by it. It's been a pleasent surprise watching this game grow.

Incredible potential, not many female protagonist games with this kind of pacing, visuals, and choices. The characters introduced are very interesting and different. The interactions between characters are wild, wacky, and interesting very seldom do you find a lull in gameplay where its a ton of dialogue with no setup or direction.
