VN - Ren'Py - Project Myriam - Life and Explorations [Ch. 5.10+p] [Zorlun]

I thought I was finally going to play a really decent female protagonist game, because of these many high ratings in a row, a lot of 5 stars.
But my god, what a horrible game, pretty much in every aspect. This game does not please in exactly anything.
The corruption is forced, the loyalty is a joke, the lesbian path is far away, the incest is a typical children's game, and not even the normality of the protagonist's life is interesting.
I don't know how this game got so many ratings, and high ones at that.
It even looks like it is bought.
But I think the developer or someone else wouldn't do this, or would, but I don't think so.

good drawing, adult character, the plot is not stupid teenage, the plot demonstrates the freedom of choice, the freedom of behavior of an adult, and without unnecessary vulgarity. There are also not enough plots with a female main character, and this is also a plus

Game has a good cover, and a good presentation. Point, it's over what's positive about it.
When you open the game, it's a horror show.
The developer brought characters that we hardly ever see in another game, but this is a relief, because there are only strange characters.
Not to mention that the game gives the old cliché feeling of female protagonist. Where the MFC is married, but only attracts whoring to her side. and of course this gets excited, for the love of god, it is easy to see bad FMC games, but this one is in my top 3 of aberrations.

Man listen carefully, this game is a must have. All in this game is kinky, as kinky as you want by your choice. All branch go to fetish and different porn.

Myriam is a stange protagonist with sex problem and you can build here as a dominant, or submissiv, and chose her way into her lust discovery.

Dont take into account bad review, this game is exactly as presented, a porn visual novel with a female protagonist with many choice.

Went into this game with high hopes, came out with disappointment and a bitter aftertaste.

To start off: the renders are... well, Daz. While the scenes and their lighting are mainly good, the characters suffer from a deadly case of Uncanny Valley.
The women - while definitely curvy - all look extremely creepy (see render #7)

Gameplay-wise, this isn't my cup of tea either. As an MC, Myriam is a total blank slate, completely undisturbed and unaffected by all the horrible things she's forced to go through.
She lacks not only a personality, but thoughts and feelings. To put it simply, she's a slightly human-like sex doll.

A similar thing can be said about most (if not all) of the supporting characters. They're all very one-dimentional, and fail to break even the most rudimentary of stereotypes.
We have the horny son, who thinks nothing but horny thoughts.
There's a buff guy, who (direct quote) "Likes to workout".
The guys are all overly horny and male chauvinistic, and most of them look pretty bad.
The girls, on the other hand, are a nice change of pace. Sure, they might look a bit creepy, but they all feel like good, genuine people. (I use the term "people" very loosely here.)

The choices are very arbitrary and weird, and I found my self checking every alternative just to see which choices gave me the "stats" I wanted. It doesn't halp that these stats show up one by one, very slowly.

Despite my aversion, I have to give credit where credit is due: the game is filled to the brim with fetishes of all varieties.

If you're going into the game expecting nothing but mindless fap-material, this is the game for you. (Granted you don't mind the doll-like appearances.)
If you want substance, I'd advise you to look elsewhere.

If I could give this game a 2.5, I would. But I can't. So I won't.

So. Many. Kinks.

This game has all of the standard kinks you can think of and a lot of kinks you probably weren’t prepared for (CW: there's some abuse that's unavoidable for a few scenes).

The story is rather kinetic, with most of your decisions just hiding or triggering an immediate sex scene of a certain kink and then unlocking more of those sex scenes down the line, and no lasting effects on your character (currently).But the storytelling is excellent with good pacing, excellent visuals, and lots of drama. It’s not the kind of story that engages your feelings or your thoughts, but it’s good, depraved entertainment nonetheless.

The only negative I can think of for this game is that the main character’s model sometimes off. There will be scenes were her face looks almost dented or there's a kind of Kardashian fakeness to her thighs or breasts. It seems to only occur at certain angles or certain scenes, but when you see it, it’s a bit jarring.

Overall, 5/5 stars for the incredible amounts of content that touches on some uncommon kinks in an engaging way.

Project Myriam is a slice of life VN about a MILF and her daily struggles with her life, kids, job, and lust.

It does a lot of things quite well. I generally liked the renders, the story elements and several of the characters. The game is full of choices and you can opt out of just about anything, though you might need to be a little careful with your saves. There are a few points of no return a decent distance after a choice.

The characters are generally fine, pushing slightly over toward the side of good. While most tend to be on the horny side of realism, none of them step too dramatically far from reasonable. However, there are a rather large number of characters who are total assholes which meant I opted out of a lot of content (mostly non-con and rape). I feel like how much you like each character, and potentially allowing Myriam to be abused by them, will determine how much of the content of the game you see and how much you enjoy the game overall.

The game play is generally on the good side for VNs. There are a huge number of choices, a huge number of stats which are affected by these choices, and a reasonably significant number of choices which are affected by your stats. I feel like the system could be a little more pervasive in forcing Myriam down certain paths if she’s developed certain kinks or a certain mood, but in general, everything flows fairly smoothly.

However, there are certain times I feel like each story block feels very distant from one another. Some of Myriam’s experiences can be world changing (there’s a LOT of potential rape) and these events don’t seem to effect Myriam too deeply. I understand that the story needs to keep moving, but it really cheapens the emotional impact and comes across as very unrealistic.


Frankly, the end result isn’t quite enough yet. However, there is probably a subset of people that will absolutely love this game if you’re into watching Myriam be used and abused. Personally though, while I greatly enjoyed parts of Project Myriam, it falls short of complete brilliance. It’s possible that the game could improve as individual storylines advance and reach completion, though.

This game really surprised me - I mean, I've played a lot of corruption games, but this one feels fresh and has something for everyone. There is a lot of variety and many ways for Myriam to become defiled. The writing is excellent, especially for a non-native English speaker, and the renders are lovely. Really well done.

I never played a game where all my kinks are animated plus the story in this VN is just what I dream of. A wife and mother being corrupted in a new city with tons of incest and sex, there is also a lot of other kinks and ways for the player to immerge into the game and fulfill your desires.
The fem protag (Myriam) is the best. She's sweet nice and beautiful. I can't even think that such a person exists in real life. Zorlun really did a wonderful job creating this character.
A game full of explorations and a journey for you to enjoy from the beginning till the end.

Also this plot has given me so many emotional whiplashes it's amazing, has made it into my top ten ever.
Story is easy to follow and gives plenty of choices with proper consequences and changes to the story

Project Myriam - Life and Explorations is Nice game and i am always looking forward for the update. The new updates are not so big and wish the next update would take a little extra week but comes up with major added content

I'm surprised by overwhelmingly positive reviews here. Sure it's all right, but some issues prevent it from being great. Probably the main one is the renders, and it's not only about models but also with positioning the camera and characters in the scenes. I guess it gets better the more you play, but it is still problematic.
Writing is also bleak. For a corruption game, you'd want more personality than a "bored milf" trope.
Anyway, I hope that the dev will use the experience gathered on this project and start something from scratch.

Visually very appealing even if the image are over exposed a bit, but that's where it stops. The story is pretty generic, you classic milf tale.

I give the make props for the female protagonist, but it's just not very well executed. The writing is pretty flat and didn't really make me hot. There's nothing unique about the idea that really captured me and drew me in.

I wanted very much to like this because as I said it looks good, but there's just not a whole lot under the hood for me. YMMV obviously many like it, but I just happen to not be one of them.

One of the best female protagonist game I've ever played. As others have said the story is just a build-up for sexual encounters but it manages to set the tone . There is a lot of freedom in choosing what you want to explore and how you want your Miriam to be as the title suggests. The scenes are actually fantastic!

On top of that the updates are regular and the game progresses nicely. I hope Zorlun keeps continuing and providing good games like this.

It's a game that isn't afraid to explore! No matter what you find attractive, you will find something here. The game challenges societal norms and allows you in! It's a wild and crazy rollercoaster of a journey...but if you haven't played it, you're in for a treat!

Really like the game. I like games with a female protagonist. Miriam's character is exciting. The graphics are very good. Sex scenes are exciting with different variations. Different kinks and fetishes for everyone. There are many paths. Short time between updates. Love this game!!!

Rare is the case when a game can be truly excellent, usually needing a merging of many factors, but this one absolutely hits all the right spots.
Plot wise, it's the shit. Games with slutifying female protagonists, aren't rare, but when they go the extra mile as this one does, the end result is truly something to behold.
Render wise, also. Myriam is an absolute babe, through and through. Watching her getting fucked by everyone, everywhere, has turned into my evening routine.
And kink wise, yeah... there's something for everyone.
In one word, perfect.
