Quite the game, I dont usually comment on the forum, but damn this game was fucking good. The protag is hot, the scenes were hot, the game was pretty challenging, very good job! Please keep this updated !

Well it took me 6 hours to finish all the content in current game I ended with plenty of ammo and a large cache of crafting supplies. The difficulty was ok not too hard not too easy, the H scenes need extra words if you go back a 2nd time the trader discount's for example. My guess the forest guy's story is not finished and I am looking forward to the "Special" infected and the pregnancy implementation. I am very much looking forward to playing the next update as I can see where the story is going with a sandbox like setup.

I already love it and I hope that the pregnancy system will be good, e.g. that you can make yourself a half-zombie with it that supports you in a fight or something or that you also have to take care of your babies, whether human or zobmie baby

    The game is okish.
Fairly interesting story, easy mission at the beginning but then the DEV goes nuts making more and more complicated.

The story unfortunately it starts to branch an without a task list it is very difficult to see what has been missed.

Collecting "stuff" is tedious due the weight limitation and nothing add to the enjoyment.

but what really miss..in this adult game... is the adult part.
Few "sex" scenes very swiftly done... no care to the sex part.

It is clear that the DEV is only interested in building is own "RPG" game adding the adult part just for a checkbox exercise.

I think the game can recover if the DEV will simplify a lot the gameplay and dedicate time and effort to the sex bit. Otherwise will be a nieche game for few passionate losing the wider audience that want things fairly simple and easy

A unique RPG experience progressing through corruption of this beautiful female protagonist, if you are a fan of zombie and innovative combat system. This one is for you !

I just finished update 0.1.4.1 after about 3.5 hours, restarted a new game but I already had played previous version but it doesn't bother me at all. I enjoyed once again.

At a few given points, there is some hidden content/ending that let you explore some kinky scenario but let's not forget the ability to free roam and enjoy some daily naughty actions.

My recommendations has of now for the devs would be to implement a journal for keeping track of quest and corruption progress as well.

Nonetheless, I am amazed by the great work of this team. Glad to be contributing to the development and will closely keep an eye on the progression of this project !

A very good game with a great female protagonist... The game is not complete but there is very much potential and the ideas of the game designers are great and realistic.

This is one of the best game i played with a Female Protagonist

    Version: 0.1.3.1
    Time played: ~4 hours

    PROS:
    - 3D modelled sprites & CGs. The game uses its own 3D modelled sprites instead of the standard 2D sprites, making the coherence between the gameplay and CGs on point. It annoys me when a game uses 2D sprites and 3D CGs, so luckily this game did it just right. If the devs proceed with the same quality, they might even compete with the games from NLT Media.
    - Challenging gameplay. What makes the game challenging is the whole ammo management system. There are more zombies than you have ammo, which makes you stress out when you are getting low on supplies. This fits the genre perfectly.
    - Character upgrades. Being able to upgrade your character is a nice addition.

    MIXED:
    - Interesting gamemechanics, but only during the beginning. The game has some obvious and less obvious interactable items, such as light switches. This mechanic can be really interesting, because you can do all kind of crazy stuff with this, but it is only used in the beginning sequence of the game. It would be a shame if they didn't keep these kinds of mechanics in the game, because they make the game more unique. Although it might too early to conclude this, because the game is practically in its early stages of development.
    - UI might need some optimization. There is nothing wrong with the current UI, but some added features might buff the experience a bit more. It would be more intuitive if you have some kind of questbook/diary/journal binded to [J] and a crafting menu binded to [C].
    - Compressed 3D sprites. I'm not sure if it is a compression thing or that the sprites are pixelated on perpose, but I would like the game better if the quality of the sprites were just a bit better.

    CONS:
    - Badass MC, but easily being forced by others. Which is a bit of a weird flex. I do understand that the MC is subjected to a number of changes, which clouds her judgment. But still it feels weird that the MC slays a big amount of zombies, but she cannot defend herself against two simple burglars.
    - No indication for requirement for certain dialogue options. Sometimes you cannot choose a dialogue option, but it is not explained why not. It has something to do with the MC's corrruption, but that is not shown anywhere.

    Story:
The story is alright, but that's the thing with a zombie-horror game. This genre has been around for a while, so I wasn't expecting some insane plot. But nonetheless it is still a decent story.

    Gameplay:
As far as the gameplay goes, it stands pretty firm for a RPGM game. The amount of interactions with object are a bit stale, but it was okay. The obvious interactions are with stashes, such as cupboards, chests and such. But you can also interact with light switches, which might reveal a secret. Or a jumpscare! I do miss interactions with other situations, such as a boarded up door or a zombie jammed between an elevator door. If you can interact with those kinds of situations, it would greatly improve the immersion in the environment. It'll also create more depth to your character, because her personality will seep through in the way she responds to a certain situation.

    Language/Grammar:
There are some typos, other than that it is well written.

    Graphics:
The MC is nicely modelled and some of the characters also might look familiar, which I also like! The 3D sprites and environment also add a lot to the beauty of the game as a whole. Even though darkness is an important element of a horror game, it still feels a bit too much in some CGs. Which is a shame. There are some animations in the game, but they are a bit to jittery in my opinion. But in the same time it is really promising.

    Sound:
I have no comments on this, other than that it is good that they use non-default background music.

    Conclusion:
Team Venus delivered a solid game, which kept me intrigued during the whole playthrough. It still has a lot of rough edges, but it does look really promising. If they keep up the good work, they might pose a threat for the well established NLT Media guys. I'm really looking forward on how this game develops, because it has a lot of potential! (4/5)

    Recommendations:
    - Add a Journal [J] to track quests, character biographies, enemy details, maps, etc.
    - Add a Crafting [C] shortcut to your key bindings
    - Add muzzle flashes if the MC shoots, it gives you a visual feedback that you are actually firing a gun. You might also want to show the bullet impact/ricochet to show the bullet range.

I like Non-turn based combat in RPGMs. This one is perfect for my taste.
    Very promising project.

Okay H content. Thegame could use a clearer path for the player to follow unless it is being designed for semi enforced world exploration.

Would recommend taking for a spin.

I'm not fond of RPGM games in general but this game is just something else. Dev really pushes the engine to its limits as far as i can see. The visuals and sound is well implemented so the game sucks you into its atmosphere. There is not much to say for lewd content but it looked good with what we have rn. Good luck to dev for bringing out the potential.

Briefly - It is 2D Resident Evil with a pinch of erotica.
As for me the main plus of the game is that IT IS INTERESTING TO PLAY. And you really have to survive as the ammunition is strictly limited. There is even choice in several dialogues that affect scenes. And of course puzzles. Definitely worth trying.
I can't wait to play next updates!

Off to a great start, really enjoy where you are going with this. I hope you find a way to keep the momentum going, too many great starts don't go anywhere because of the amount of work required. I will definitely be supporting this game.

Finally, a good rpg game and 3D graphics that does not cut the eye with krafts. Especially impressed with the stats system. Shut up and take my money. HOPE the game will NOT be abandoned at the beginning of its development path.

Great horror game with some erotic and a lot of riddles. I hope the development continues. I did enjoy it even though I was geniously afraid for the main character and spent an unfortunate amount of time searching for clues on how to continue. I hope there will be more erotic in the future. The main character's look is really sweet imo. One thing I didn't get was why she said she was "being treated like a cheap whore" after being forced to give a bj. Is that plot twist that she's an expensive whore? Left me a bit confused.

Such a great game, the MC is super hot, i was looking for a survival rpgm and I'm glad I found it. I am very much looking forward to a version with more content, it's definitely got potential, I would very much like to see open world content (which I've read comments about that it will be optional) but eagerly waiting for it

(Note: this review is for version 0.1, and is subject to change in the full release)

Came for the ass, stayed for the gameplay.

    Okay, positives first:
    • Graphics are good, from the renders to the sprite quality to the environments.
    • Gameplay is quite meaty for a demo and handles quite well.
    • Environmental storytelling is on point, with use of lighting and clues lending well to the horror atmosphere.
    And now for the negatives:
    • Premise feels a tad overdone...like I get it, it's a zombie game (cue Angry Joe crying in pain somewhere). But just because it's a zombie game doesn't mean that it should start out like pretty much every zombie game out there. And no, the fact that this is an adult game shouldn't excuse that.
    • That last action event. Nice to play with, but quite a weird jump from a story perspective considering that our main character was just struggling to get her bearings just a few hours prior to the start of the outbreak.
    • Some of the fanservice shots feel like they're just shoehorned there to add content (i.e. that scene where the main character was reading an email but as she does so we get a few choice shots of her ass), which is something of a pet peeve of mine (I always champion the idea that porn scenes should happen with buildup/foreplay BEFORE the event, and not just thrown there because porn logic is ramped up to 11).
That said, it's a good game despite my personal misgivings. Can't wait to play more.

    v0.1.9

    Pros
+ It's like a 2D Resident Evil. The gameplay is fun but many things are clunky and needs a lot of polish
+ Good UI for exploration and display for what things you can interact with
    + Gorgeous character model
+ Various types of zombie enemies and even a boss.
+ Various types of weapons. 3 guns and 1 melee weapon

    Cons
    - There is now a display to see key binds, but not all the key binds are shown. So when you return to the game, you might not recall R = reload, I = Inventory, T = status menu, J = Journal, Right click = shoot, Space = interact, Hold Space = dialogue skip
    - weapon range is not displayed when equipped so it's easy to miss a lot of shots until you understand the effective range of the weapon. I think shooting diagonally is less accurate than shooting horizontally or vertically.
    - Crafting is very clunky. To craft, you have to find a book. Then select the book from the key items tab. Then select the recipe and then Space to craft. Selecting a recipe locks you into making only that thing. You can't switch over to another recipe without pressing Esc. You can only craft 1 copy per time. Crafting UI doesn't display the materials you have left
    - Stacked Items only display the weight of 1 of that item, rather than the total weight of the stack
    - Carrying capacity is based on weight, but you fill up fast because nearly everything has weight and you have a very low carrying capacity.
    - Some key items have weight. Why is this a thing?
    - grabbing less than all of one type item from the stash is bugged and will result in not looting any items. You have to Esc to exit out of the menu
    - Quest list exists but side quests don't get added to the list
    - Not many H-scenes. H-scenes are not well animated. None with penetration.

    Conclusion
Fun gameplay, but very clunky controls. So far the H-scenes are few, unsatisfying (mostly blowjobs and handjobs) and not well animated. The most disappointing thing is that very few of the problems found since 0.1.2 have been fixed in 0.1.9

the english is a bit wonky in some places but that can be overlooked, not a lot of h-scences but its a 30 min demo of an actual game that can be played instead of just pick text options like most thigns on this site. looking forwarf to the rest

i'll give this 5 stars cause of the following reasons:

    Pros:
+ quite a lot of content for release version
    + nice atmosphere
+ very hot main character (even i personally wonder why the dev didn't give her jills or claires face)
+ i didn't experienced sex yet but still felt undertained which happens very rarely
+ all seems to be thought out very nicely
+ action which is not too tedious, too complex but still complex enough
+ was a bit scared of rpgmaker engine but its used really damn nicely! (quality level similar to the NLT Games in my opinion!)

    Cons:
    - at least for me it sometimes felt a bit too hard (very tough bullet management)
    - no sex yet (and i personally hope for many ugly/creepy characters like even zombies etc and not in defeat screens)

yep thats pretty much all for me negative for now. i couldn't get out of the house cause i found all weapons but had to use all bullets and couldn't find the station where i could create bullets myself.
(even the mc is VERY damn sexy and tastefully curved i still would have prefered jills face with this nice ponytail hairstyle. (or maybe even lara croft face. but i am already happy she seems to look the prettiest and curviest than all the other girls i met so far in this game :) )

    very very promising, cool game.

I'm genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed this game, even if it was just a 30min demo, especially since I'm not a big fan of horror in porn games.

It uses the RPGM engine, which I usually don't like, especially with games that use 3d renders. However, Project Venus justifies its use of the engine excellently through its game mechanics, as it wouldn't flow well or fit the aesthetic of Project Venus in other engines.

If you are put off by the fact that it is a horror game or uses RPGM as its engine, give it a shot. You'd likely be pleasantly surprised.

    Basically,

The renders are excellent. The sound is interesting. The mechanics are well-implemented. The writing is perfect english, and the story is intriguing.

I believe this game has a lot of potential so I'm looking forward to more.
