VN - Ren'Py - Projekt: Passion [S3 v0.15] [Classy Lemon]

This ProjeKt is definely made by people with Passion.

Amazing sci-fi space game inspired by big productions like Avatar or Mass Effect (well, mostly Mass Effect) and with A LOT of good humor. Sometimes even too much, and even if it's funny, it can break the mood for both story focused and romantic scenes.
Game is more about story than bonding with LIs, but dev is doing quite well with connecting plot with romances. Pacing wasn't really for my taste, because I prefer more bonding before fucking, but it's just my personal taste.
One thing that almost made me quit was branching in season 1. When I discovered that it's very different story for next 2 chapters and scenes depending on one choice, I skipped playing for about a week. But story was just too good to drop it. Luckily, that was only one big branch. There are also some small decisions that affects dialogues or small events, but they don't completely change two freaking chapters. Anyway, I'm glad there are walkthroughs, I'm not a fan of repeating porn games just to have few different scenes.

I don't have much to say about LIs. They all have diverse personalities and dialogues with them are pleasurable, but since game is story focused and dialogues are mostly about missions or aren't too serious, I didn't feel any bonds and for sure they won't be memorable for me. Just a bunch of characters I'll forget after playing several new games and while downloading another update I most likely won't be excited to "meet" them again.
But don't get me wrong, this game have some deeper talks, bonding, learning LIs and amazing romantic scenes. It's just small amount of content for my taste and events with them are too short, sometimes mood is broken with funny scene or they just drown in plot.

Visuals are outstanding and animations or cut scenes covered with very good voiced audio, but I think faces should show more emotions, they're quite dead at most of the scenes, especially eyes.
LIs are pretty, but just pretty. They have beautiful bodies and nice faces, but IMO side female characters (especially Aria and Allison, even considering that I'm not the fan of too many piercing) are much more beautiful. I'm however extremely grateful for no oversized or fake-looking boobs.

If it was possible, my rate would be 4,5, because I prefer focus on relationships than on story. Objectively this title have everything that porn game should have: amazing story, pretty and pleasurable LIs and a good ratio of scenes to story. I can definetely recommend it to everyone who don't require long bonding and focus on relationships with slowburning. Extra recommendation for those who likes varied races, good humor and sci-fi settings.

Pretty good, played the first chapter, downloading the second now. Dialogue is very clunky at times and I'm not sure how I feel about voice acted cutscenes. Not bad, just weird to me. Overall it looks nice, animates decently, it's a generally likable cast of characters with a story that is interesting (if oddly paced) and broadly sympathetic.

First review on F95 after lurking here for a few years and playing a ton of different games. I reached the end of S1, and at first I was really disappointed thinking that I hit the end of the available content......the excitement I felt when I realized that there were two more seasons (s2 is v0.14 i guess) made me want to post this review.

So far, at the end of S1, this is one of best VN's I've played. If you like a coherent sci-fi story with adult content sprinkled in, you should give this a shot. The LI's dont throw themselves at you, and their story has been coming out slowly which I really appreciate in these types of games. I'll continue S2 and S3 of course but for now I wanted to share my appreciation for what I've seen so far, and the reaction it got out of me. Will update at the end of S2.

What else can be said about this AVN with its pleasant graphics, cinematic animations, non-tense (at first glance) plot, pleasant LIs and well-written dialogues?

Well, first of all, it's the humour. There's a lot of it here, and it's top-notch. It's not a dumping ground for all kinds of gags and memes, or endless irony and a collection of witticisms. The humour here is diverse, not too intrusive, and fits perfectly into the narrative. It's pointless to talk about it; it's best to experience it for yourself.

Secondly, there is not only humour here, but also dramatic and touching moments. And they are beautifully interwoven, complementing each other, with transitions from one to the other conveyed as naturally and seamlessly as possible. This fills the game with seriousness and drama, and in many ways with epics in the best sense of the word. It is very nice that all this is conveyed without an abundance of words, often only with images (and music!), allowing the player to understand everything for themselves and empathise with the characters' emotions, to feel the drama of what is happening.

And here we come to what is probably the most noteworthy aspect of this game — the characters. They are not just extras serving the plot, needed only in a couple of moments. Each of them has a character and personality, with all their strengths and weaknesses, which influence the plot. And almost everyone has their own backstory — dramatic and touching, not less than the main plot (in fact, each one is worthy of at least a spin-off). And this is presented not just as exposition, but throughout the plot, in how the character reacts to the events around them, how they develop, what they say and how they act. It is easy and enjoyable to empathise with them.

This applies not only to the main characters, but also to many secondary ones. And, of course, to the antagonists. They are not simply embodiments of evil that act that way just because they are evil (well, except for the Deep Ones, of course), but personalities with complex pasts, living in captivity of their illusions and delusions. They act, as they believe, with the best of intentions, and sometimes they too are tormented by doubts (although they would never admit it). They can be understood. But whether to accept them or not (or forgive them at all) is entirely up to the player, and the game does not impose any opinion on them.

Despite being a parody, it does not borrow too much from the subject of the parody, at least not directly. This makes it similar to "Space Balls" in many ways – the plot and characters, as well as the world, are unique and self-sufficient enough to be interesting in their own right. It parodies many of the significant films and games in this genre, as well as the genre itself. Therefore, in my humble opinion, it should appeal to both fans and non-fans of space adventures.

There are many more sweet words to say, but it's better to try it yourself and decide — your opinion is the most valuable. And if you don't like the game, that's okay — everyone has different tastes, and you don't have to like what others like.
But, in my opinion, rejecting the game without trying it because you're afraid of negative reviews is foolish, to say the least. After all, it's completely free (to try).

This is some kind of masterpiece. Science of Humor, plot mass effect alike with intresting colorfull characters + quality of renders and animations. Also the dialogue in cinematics sounds great. Please keep your great work! Cant w8 for more

I really enjoyed this game, for me this game so far has been top tier.

TLDR:
If you are into scifi setting, and like IPs like Mass Effect, Star Wars, etc. This is a must play.

- Great Humor
- Story is generally very good
- Great parody of great franchises
- Great character designs
- The characters has enough going on them to get invested
- Lewds are good enough with animations
- Has voice acting, that felt surprising and not too bad in this genre
- Has cinematics

While the story is pretty linear, and does not takes much effort to be with the girls, these are somethings I am willing to overlook due to most other things done right. The death scenarios are BIG LOL.

If you lie scifi stories, even if you do not like scifi stories, must try Projekt Passion. For me I absolutely loved it (played till season 2)

Everything in this game is well done.

Characters: Each of them is likeable and has a unique personality.

Story: It's great, keeping you hooked throughout all the seasons and have good touch of humor.

Animations and renders: Stunning and high-quality, both in the sex scenes and the cutscenes.

Soundtrack: Well done as well.

Great game but this is just my opinion, as always you should try it yourself.

I genuinely don't want this game to ever end. Not only it has good animations and very well designed characters but also the game is just so fun to play and see what's coming next. The story is decent, characters are so much fun (most of them), concept is just the way i like. Humor in the game is also good and funny imo. vibes,atmosphere is just lovely. i love everything about this game would totally recommend you to play if you have not. To be honest, even if this game had no sex scenes i'd still play so give it a go and see yourself. 10/10

Projekt: Passion

One of the best games

the history: 10/10 even though it doesn't have any sex scenes, it's very good and leaves you wanting more.

Comedy: 10/10 Normally the comedy in these types of games is bad or meh, but in this game it's really good, you have no idea how much I laughed in many of its scenes.

Characters: 10/10 The models, though sometimes simple, work very well and look good. The character writing is very good and captivates you.

The MC: There's not much to say about him; I'll always say that's just me. But seriously, he's well-written and easy to relate to in some scenes.

In short, this is a game that anyone who likes these types of games has to try or follow to see its ending.

Quality.

It's a word often used and rarely examined. In this little microcosm of a community, the words good, bad and ugly are thrown around a lot and used incredibly subjectively. It is difficult in a pornographic industry to come to a definition of 'quality' that can be applied with any sort of universality, but lets try our best with Projekt Passion here, because what we have is something special.

Quality of Story: Plenty of AVNs have comedy. The Comedy in PP (haha) is good, keeps things lighthearted, and shows a self-awareness that seems to be one of Classy Lemon's hallmarks. We funny here. The real pleasure here is the consistency of the dramatic story beats. It is VERY difficult for a porn game to provide meaningful, serious drama. It is, frankly, an inherently silly platform--and yet, the serious moments of the story are not throwaway moments, do not detract from the funny or the sexy, and are paced in a way that doesn't feel cheap or peculiar.

Quality of Porn: It's hot. It follows the story. Yeah, we're all here for porn but it really helps when it's good porn. I haven't been disappointed in the sex scenes of an update yet, and I feel the love of an author for their characters when romancing these women. Is that weird? Who cares, moving on.

Quality of Art: The art is in competition for some of the most skilled animators and renderers we see in F95 parts. 'Professional Grade' is an easy term to throw around, and to be honest it's extremely rare to see something that qualifies for that level of regard, but Projekt Passion gets damn close and doesn't lose any points in the attempt.

A final note, and something less tangible but definitely appreciable in this community is the Lemon Man's CONSISTENCY. We see a lot of AVNs developed by hobbyists. We have seen many fall by the wayside, or fall victim to the dangers of project bloat, burnout, or simply bad luck. Personally, I don't hold anyone accountable in that regard; I'm an unabashed pirate and I spend my money judiciously if at all. None of these people owe me anything. But Projekt Passion is updated consistently, with care, and with an impressive frequency. That, combined with the quality, makes it something truly special.

This is a golden goose. Treat it well, friends.

The game is great, it satisfies everything i want from an VN porn game. It even have cutscenes with voice acting, I've never played a VN with voice acting before. Also the animations were great, it even has sfx which is a plus for me. The game is funny too, but also knows when to get serious. Also this game have the type of villain that i hate the most,those who think that the end justify the means. Can't wait for their downfall. Overall greta game, people say it's bad but don't be like me and try it out first before judging.

A very funny VN experience, there are many jokes throughout the game and the world is also really cool. I also really like the characters personality throughout the game with the serious moment also not being ruined despite the comedy. I really recommend this game to others.

Projekt Passion is, arguably, the best overall game on F95. Some things might beat it out in some categories but, personally, it would be in my top 5 for story, characters and character development (including Lis, side characters, and random NPCs you may encounter), humor, renders, animations, lewd scenes, sound, voice, and gamification (you make important choices that change the story). It is also one of the few games where a harem sort of makes sense: You are on a ship, frequently in deep space, with a crew that consists of 6 straight (or possibly bi) women and the only penis belongs to MC. Additionally, one of the women is an android who is completely devoted to the MC and was designed for sex, and one is a woman who he has been having sex with off and on since they were teenagers - although their relationship was never officially defined. - Unlikely? Sure, but not pure porn logic. Additionally, with part 2 of 3 done and part 3 on its way shortly, there are untold hours of content available before you're even caught up. And there is no icky, icky, icky NTR. If you don't like this game, I'm not sure what you're doing on F95.

Definitely just caught up with the main story and its been a wild run. One of the most enjoyable VN I have come across. The renders are great and the characters each have their own issues and characteristics. I look forward to the rest of the story.

First played this game years ago and could not get through the opening. First impressions did it no favors. Last year I gave it another shot and now it's a favorite. The humor tickles me just right, the sci-fi world is engaging, and the women are beautiful and realistic (blue skin or wings notwithstanding). Just needed to get a bit into it to see it for the gem it is.

Top notch VN. Humor can be a little cringe in some places but nothing too bad, jokes land more often than not and you shouldn't treat VNs too seriously anyway. The animations are good, story is quite interesting and has it own twists, so I can't really see where the complaints are coming from

Like what others have said story pacing and tone is all over the place. Most sex scenes don't feel organic at all. The comedy is strewn everywhere haphazardly, removing any sense of tension.

Character design is some of the best, all the models look stunning and unique. This is why I even bothered playing past the first few chapters. Most characters have different personalities but are often flanderdized and lack nuance. The few "straight man" characters are more interesting.

Animation is mostly on point, some oddities during action sequences but the sex scenes are good. Lighting is great which is always a struggle with 3D games. I felt the camera angle during sex scenes were odd. Some scenes felt borderline softcore.

The choice system is lame since more than half your choices only can get a few lines of text. A few are one choice bad ends.

Game is relatively fresh compared to DAZ's long-running projects and feels like a breath of fresh air. While it lacks the complex branching and cumbersome nature of popular novels in this genre, it does offer a touching humorous element and a homage to the legendary space opera Mass Effect, essentially being a porn parody.
You won't see dozens of LIs here; there aren't many, just six, but each girl is unique and has her own personality and backstory. You have the sexy AI android, trying to understand her place in this world, broken assassin, girl who need a strong shoulder and support, childhood friend who lost her parents, hot alien Liara T'Soni type and a space version of a succubus. And they all are working perfectly, I can't even name the annoying LI type here.

After switching to Blender, I can say that developer is doing great with cinematics, and the game being an indie title among AVNs, feels like a big-budget project. Soundtrack is also impressive; PP is definitely in the top 5 games with well-chosen music.
Overall rating: 10 lemons out of 10

I managed to endure 10 minutes of cringe before dropping this. The characters just trade quips between each other. Everything is treated as a joke. Unfortunately, it's not done well, nor is it funny past the first couple of lines. Hard pass.
