This game is an easy 10/10. Great humor, great characters, all the (human) women look like actual humans and are smoking hot. Even most of the alien women look more human than some of the insanely proportioned things in other AVNs. Ves is...you know...not very human looking, but she's cool.
The render quality is top tier and the animations are above the top tier. The sex is, I suppose, pretty vanilla but as it turns out, that's what I'm looking for most of the time.
I don't think I can actually think of an actual criticism for the game. I could say the only thing I'd want is more of it, but then the pacing and feel of the game could take a hit so that's not even valid.
The way the camera focuses on the scenes is excellent, I would say that this game is one of the best in that, not only in sex scenes but even in moments of the story, I also like the personalities of the girls and I think it is quite well done that the dialogues are retroactive depending on the decisions.
I really enjoyed this AVN a lot, but there are some huge caveats and nitpicks that you might want to overlook depending on your personal taste. I can overlook them enough to appreciate this game as a whole, though.
If you don’t take this AVN as seriously as Solarin thinks he is as a capable leader, you’ll get one of the best “campy” AVNs you can jack off to.
Production Quality:It improves over time. What I found a bit disappointing at the start of Season 1 in terms of visuals and sex scenes gets fixed massively by the end of Season 2. The last sex scenes in Season 2 are probably some of the best I’ve seen in any AVN so far—no exaggeration, they’re that good. So, if you’re planning to play this, make sure you at least play until the end of Season 1.
MC's Jokester Nature: The criticism around the MC's “jokester” nature is, in my opinion, overblown. Unless you’re actively choosing the “joke” response every single time, it’s not that bad. There are three types of MC responses: friendly/kind (blue), joke (purple), and rude (red). The game does a pretty good job of keeping the MC's responses consistent with his character, but you need to choose the kind ones when needed. The joke and rude responses can get a bit too cheesy, though.
The LIs: The LIs are solid. The developers managed to make me care enough to remember and be invested in them even after months of not playing the game. Along with the MC’s personality choices (kind, jokester, or asshole), the LIs' growth feels important. I would highly recommend choosing kind responses for consistency, though. It helps make the MC feel emotionally connected to the LIs and helps drive their narrative forward.
The campy jokes and some cheesy moments from NPCs, the MC, and others can either miss the mark or land really well. The Bad:
My main issue is how Solarin is presented and written. He takes himself way too seriously, which makes the game shift from its campy tone to something more intense and less enjoyable. I can’t overlook this, as Solarin’s actions are the driving force behind the plot.
Overall, Projekt: Passion is a fun ride, despite its issues. The campy tone, solid character growth, and excellent sex scenes make it an easy game to get into. The visuals, especially in Season 2, really step up and offer some of the best you’ll find in AVNs. The MC’s personality choices keep you invested enough (but you must choose kind, refers to my points above), him and the LIs are memorable enough to make you care about their development.
That being said, Solarin’s character is where the game stumbles. His decisions are often impulsive and nonsensical, which can be frustrating, especially when they clash with the vibe of this game. His lack of emotional depth or logical thinking makes him harder to take seriously and emotionally, and that definitely impacts the overall experience.
Still, if you can look past the flaws and just enjoy the ride, Projekt: Passion is definitely worth playing. It’s got a lot of heart and a lot of fun moments, so if you’re into campy, over-the-top storytelling with great visuals, you’ll find something to enjoy here.
This game has an excelent narrative, an engaging history, charismatic characters and on top of that good quality animations. Very recomended. The previous work from the author was good, but in this new work you can see how much he has impruved since then. I hopefor the best for this proyect and for more games in the future.
I fell uncomfortable giving Projekt: Passion just three stars, but hear me out.
The graphics are outstanding, some of the best in the genre. Character designs, posing, camerawork, lighting, the subtle panning effect on static images, soft body physics - I can't fault any of this.
But the writing is hit and miss. When Classy Lemon write farce, everything is great: the pacing is breakneck, the zaniness is off the charts, every stupid thing works and comes back as a brick joke.
Character drama is... meh. The main cast is designed to be a collection of broken birds, but the rapid jumps from comedy into personal drama introduce unwelcome bathos.
The main story is really the weakest point. You can feel the writers had no idea where the pilot episode would take them. Worldbuilding is meh, technology is ridiculous, the antagonists and the macguffins are written on the go with no real sense of where the story will take us. I find myself clicking through most of the plot-heavy serious dialogue.
Maybe the sex scenes are great? Technically, they are impeccable, as I've written above. But a lot of them is sex with random technicolor alien babes. A lot of them is sex with LI technicolor alien (or robot) babes. I don't find inhuman skin tones, textures and growths appealing and I when it's combined with insufficient character development (remember, sex with episodic characters) I find it simply boring. There are just three human LIs and they don't get enough screen time to make me give this game an extra star.
If Classy Lemon start another game with the same level of technical excellence, stick to either drama or comedy and don't improvise the plot as they go along, it will get an instant five-star rating from be. But, alas, PP doesn't.
This game is incredibly well done. The renders are nice, animations and cinematics are very smooth and even the voice acting seems to be done by professionals, and so is the wrighting. One of the few games here that gladly purchased even if against a personal rule of not buying games that are nod yet finished (remember, no pre-orders).
Incredible! Good story, absolutely stunning graphics, characters that mix tragedy, seriousness, comedy and well, lust and romance. It may not be the game where you make the most decisions, but the ones you make, can affect the story, decide your romances and your personality or take you to unexpected events that will make you laugh with the references. I can't recommend it enough
1) There's not a single attractive character, including MC.
2) The voices are all far beyond awful and not easy to turn off.
3) Everything related to the menu is fucked up.
The characters, including MC, actually all have attractive forms. That is, they have nice shapes. The problems all lie with their "skin" and/or what they've got going on above the neck. With MC, the only problem aside from his hair is his eyes, which make him look like a soulless psychopath. With the human girls, they're generally not pretty to begin with and they all make things worse with poor style choices, including facial piercings, half-shaved heads, hair dyed gray, painted-on eyebrows, fake eyelashes, etc. With monster girls in general, I can find them attractive to the extent they look human. The monster girls in this game don't remotely resemble humans. I'm alluding to many things like multi-colored stone-like flesh and an absence of things like irises and pupils. With the robot, I'm not sure I even want to call her an android. She has a human-like shape but her creators made zero attempt to make her exterior look human. Still, she's definitely the most fuckable entity in this universe apart from MC's fist.
The creator amazingly has the gall to advise keeping the sound on for best experience. The voices are extremely cringey and don't match the characters at all. Easy fix, right? Just turn voices off in the menu. No. The characters talk through the cutscenes, and these voices are not recognized as voices. That is, if you don't want the cutscenes to be extremely cringey, you have to disable all sound for the game completely.
Actually, the entire menu is fucked up. First, it's extremely slow to respond to any clicks. I've never encountered this in any game before. This is far more than just a minor annoyance. For example, go to preferences. Start clicking on things, for example, under "skip". You can toggle "unseen text" between white, and gray, and black, without knowing what any of those colors mean. Then start clicking on choices in another column, like "game over scenes". The game over choices won't change, but the skip choices will keep changing and might keep changing for another 60 seconds after you're done clicking anything.
This not enough? Go to the gallery. Page 1 is appropriately titled Page 1. Page 2 is likewise called Page 1. Page 3 is just Page 3.
Also, the text can be very hard to read at times, especially when it's purple, which happens a lot.
probably the best game on this site. engaging storyline with well-developed likeable characters (amazing buildup with the girls). non awkward/forced humor that fits perfectly with the mc's personality most importantly, this game has incredible visual/animations that somehow improve in each update.
Always leaves me craving more. <3 It's an amazing love/hate dynamic I have with this novel. haha overall highly recommend this visual novel and any future work @Classy Lemon has to offer ! Thank you for all of your time so far and yet to come! It's very good work and much appreciated
Its like an interactive film, just use the auto feature, sit back and enjoy. Music, animations, drama, action, comedy, all in one game. Absolute masterpiece. Its even more surprising when you know that a fkin lemon did all this
One of the greatest adult games I played, if not the greatest. Fantastic sci-fi journey, full of adventures, events and great girls. Soundtracks are deep and always on point. Renders, angles, surroundings are very immersive. The game even has very nicely done cutscenes with action. World, characters and their behavior easily make me believe in this story without problems.
Humor is very funny; a lot of times I found myself sincerely laughing. MC is a very nice, witty and pleasant dude. Scenes of intimacy and animations are great; oh, there is a decent amount of content in the game, even if it's more or less a story-driven AVN. Dev doesn't stretch progress for long before making characters actually fuck each other. Because here, dear friend, there is no need to cockblock and milk players for years; writing, humor and characters carry the story to be very interesting and immersive, even if it wasn't AVN.
Had a great time playing. I, to honor the Developer, even bought some lemons for my tea)
P.S. Setting and story reminded me of old classic "Firefly"
The writing in this game is spectacular, the waifus are fully fleshed out, the villain is great and it blends humor with emotional moments perfectly. The game has some really great emotional scenes made better by the choice of music. The only downside is that the plot itself moves very slowly.
The sex scenes themselves are good, but there is few of them. There are a couple of extra scenes at the end of each chapter, but they are very tame.
The humor in this game is excellent! Combined with great character and plot writing the game is a very enjoyable experience. I binge played it to the current version as soon as I got my hands on it. I feel like there is less importance on the intimate scenes with the focus being to reinforce the plot.
ehem the elements of this game is one of the best I have played. everything from this creator is some good stuff. fun animation and story. I will play any game that they release. Ashe is great as is Emily. Heck i cant think of a single character i dont like.
I am being generous by giving this a 3/5, but the character development and bj scenes push this to an average game rating. The story starts off fine, but seven chapters in still does not elucidate why I am hell bent on getting back this amulet. I mean, everybody in this fictional world is gaga over amulets, but why? Instead, the story expands parts (e.g. being captured and interviewed by bad guys) for funny moments that just don't hit when you are looking for some lovin' relief. The characters are fleshed out and memorable. The bj animations are good, but the rest of the sex animations are average. The dialogue is better than most AVNs with a few funny lines (not nearly enough given how many attempts are made). I am not going to continue to play beyond the first download, which really cements my 3/5 rating.

Have you ever sat there and listened to someone that thinks they're really funny, but everything that comes out of their mouth is unfunny drivel? That is every second of this "story". This is trying really hard to seem quirky, charming, and funny. But it comes across as insufferable and annoying. Sure, the animation and CG's are pretty good, if not looking like they're all moving through water because the animation's a bit slow. But just because something looks good, doesn't mean it's a 5 star game. I don't get the criticisms toward the LIs, I mean, look at the banner, you can plainly see what MC's gonna get with. I, personally, like alien/demon looks so that's what drew me in. Unfortunately, the issues above take me out of it. If everything's a joke, nothing is funny. You can't wedge in serious scenes after every other line has tried to be funny, as it just feels jarring. This game is written as if the writer ONLY watches the Deadpool movies. I DO NOT care about the MC. I DO NOT care about the quest they're going on for no reson. And even though they SUDDENLY change gears to have a serious conversation near the end of the first part, I can't get behind the ONE LI that they finally made a backstory for. Will these opinions magically change when I play part two? I sincerely doubt it. There's also something to be said about long, drawn out cutscenes in a VISUAL NOVEL. Typically, with Japanese ones, the intro is the only time this happens. (And MAYBE ending scenes) But with this, it might as well just be a full-blown animated series. Why is it a VN? And I also want to admit, this has essentially been sitting in my DL folder for who knows how long. I've been avoiding it for months because I know this game gives me a headache. From what little I remember, MC gets a thing stolen from him. Then for no reason, him and a gaggle of women jump across the stars to find it? Question mark? It's never stated what it is, why they need it, what their goal is, or why we, the audience, should care. If I find the reason, I'll be the first to say I was wrong and it's in the story. But really, I'm not gonna hold my breath.
Let's be real, no one's about to read this doctorate thesis of a review on a porn game. You already know how you feel about it. MC is a pain in the ass and causes every problem in the story. There's a dumb joke every 14 seconds, and the very good serious moments are ruined by how shitty and unlikable the MC is. The bones of a great story is here, I can acknowledge that. But long stretches of the game are me stonefacing the screen why they play a joke for 30 minutes and interrupt serious moments with the same awful banter. I wanted it to stop. If Deadpool and Vince Vaughn movies are the only thing you like, this is for you, I'm truly happy for you. I'm not that lucky. This review is not only my longest but took me the longest to write so far. I LOVE all the serious moments. I LOVE the character development. I LOVE the idea behind a lot of this. It's just a shame it's insufferable and based around a terrible protagonist.
As for ratings, the English is good. There's a lot of spelling mistakes and some lines were wonky so it brought me down to a 7. The UI/UX is decently modified Renpy. It's cohesive and simple but is still mostly just default renpy. The Art is good. I have to say it's somewhat stylized. But they all have dead eyes with no highlights, bland expressions and iridescent skin. The posing still feels stiff a lot and some of the animations feel floaty. I see the elbow grease but there's still basic poses that go untouched so it's a shame. The dialogue is great until someone that thinks their funny gets ahold of the keyboard. There are some great interpersonal moments in here and they're fairly fluid in terms of the story. But my god the jokes never end. The story is "MC got an amulet, it was stolen, he then ruins all his friends lives." He's literally going to get an amulet that he was going to sell to them anyways. It's so stupid. So I'm very ambivalent towards this. It obviously has good an bad. It's better than most.
Great game. It is very well written, but the dialogue leans heavily on "silly" jokes which some might find annyoing, the protagonist has a jokester nature which you can lean on or reduce depending on your dialogue choices. I found them greatly endearing, and caused me to laught at moments. While it is kinda a comedy game, the plot is very interesting, it is full of deep and meaningful moments, the characters are deep, unique and it is awesome to see their development.
The graphics and animation are good. The story is a vehicel for the constant juvenile banter.
And realy constantly, just to a point where it is just plain anoying and it happend fast in my case.
It's like a slapstick show belted together with dad jokes and occasional sex scenes -in the same style-.
I liked the choices of answers good, witty, bad if it only would have made it any more bearable.
The fem models I seen are mostly asian styled barely legal aged.
