This game is very well crafted and surprisingly underrated. It is by far the funniest and one of the funnest AVN I have played. The humor and laughs gave me a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy vibes. Yes, I said it... I know...

The story is entertaining and very well written. It kept me engaged and interested at all times. The characters are deep and they each have a fascinating story for the player to discover as they play along.

The art looked a little outdated at the beginning, but that is to be expected considering when the work on this game had started. But it improves significantly and noticeably as the player advances through the chapters to become on par with the more "modern" AVNs.

The voiced parts and the music are on point and they do a good job of enriching the overall expieriance. This is especially evident during the excellent lewd scenes and animation.

The harem mechanic allows the player the freedom to peruse multiple LI paths without worry, instead the focus remains on the story and the choices to be made and the fun to be had.

The "death scenes" are hilarious and very well made, all the while without dishing out a punishment to the player for trying them out. It's all very cleaver really.

Now, this AVN does not have a lot of branching, and that is a known double edged sword in this genre. On one hand, it could make the development process somewhat faster, while on the other hand, it reduces re-playability and the player's choices end up carrying less weight in the general scheme of things. Honestly, in this case, because of how good the story is, I'd rather have faster updates personally, so I'm all for it.

I do find myself wanting to se more of Hanna and Allison though... maybe even both at the same time? I mean why not? After all, Hanna did play Desert Stalker, right?

All in all, I highly recommend this game and I can't wait to see where this journey will take us next.

And by riot I mean I'll be mildly upset.

Somewhat in the shadow of some "blockbusters" here - such as Being A Dik, Eternum or Ripples, which I also follow with great pleasure - Projekt: Passion manages to deviate from the already beaten paths (action that takes place in a high school or college, teenage characters) to propose an AVN in the style of a good film noir. The narrative - although dressed in a sci-fi look - recalls the atmosphere of Raymond Chandler's novels, and the direction is excellent, with a subtle attention to details and offering the perfect dosage of the "ingredients" specific to this genre: darkness, suspense, humor, sex.
The characters are innovative - different races, including androids - and well built both psychologically and visually (probably in DAZ - in any case, they look more natural than the characters created in HoneySelect).
The sex scenes are also more natural/realistic than in many other AVNs. Maybe some will not find them spectacular enough (especially since MC's penis is a normal one), but for me their eroticism, sometimes spiced with good humor, is fully satisfactory. A special mention for the scenes with SAndrA - so funny but also incredibly sensual.
Without a doubt, Projekt: Passion is one of the best AVNs out there, especially for those looking for a slightly more mature/artistic style.

Projekt: Passion starts a light-hearted comedy sci-fi adventure story with some simplistic (almost) soft-core scenes sprinkled in here and there. It makes a big tone shift into more serious territory later, and the sex scenes get more involved and better. I find it very hard to rate because scene to scene execution is excellent - possibly the best direction I've seen in a VN, and arguably better than in some TV shows. On the other hand the overall story is weak, characterization is ham-fisted, and the sex scenes are terribly bland. I'm giving it a good score because I was not bored ever and the production value is very high.

A failed comedy can be a disaster. Thankfully, here the tone is established immediately and it's easy to just roll with it. Not that many great lines, but a couple still got me, especially the longer running bits. I like the gunslinger "arc", I like the dread of customer service, I like picking up the phone in general. All gags are at least fine, and the best jokes are delivered through scene direction and cuts - I was reminded of Edgar Wright's style a couple of times. A sensible chuckle out of five.

The story, unfortunately, is basically not there - there's a McGuffin and that's it. Neither the "villain" nor our heroes know if there's a threat or what it is, or what to do about it, or what steps to take next. Both sides get convenient "leads" all the time, run into each other basically by accident etc. It's also crystal clear that it's vague on purpose and is being written as new episodes roll out. Just don't think about it too much and enjoy the scene to scene action.

Characters are good bordering on great, but the delivery seems rushed. At one point plot development and comedy bits basically stop and tragic backstories start dropping one after the other, most of them done with flashbacks. There's a great combat sequence with actually interesting setup and development for multiple characters, but music has to work multiple shifts and overtime to sell any of this as tragic. Simply not enough time was spent on those characters and I feel nothing. Commanders of the massacred resistance should be guilt-ridden, but it doesn't really work when they were supposed to have a good time fighting the Space Balls empire in the first place. I like comedies taking a serious turn, but this is just jarring.

Relationship development is also hit or miss, Ashe being my biggest grievance. Her introduction was generic fine, hot stoic redhead with absurd abilities, I can roll with that. The scene where her big problem was revealed was actually great - it just holds on soooo long on your inability to help her in any meaningful way. But then the next scene with her is somehow less intimate, and it's followed by straight up fucking. With the option to fuck her ass out of nowhere, because why not, some viewers like anal. I think what happened here is that patreons just wanted to see a sex scene with Ashe, so the fast-forward button got pressed.

The sex scenes in general feel uninspired, repetitive and rushed. Robot girl wants a facefuck is as interesting as the game gets, and it still had to turn into a regular penetration scene. MC wants to "payback" another girl by going down on her, but they get interrupted. This could have been turned into a bit where you chase the girl around the ship trying to get her off. Instead it just never happens, we are past oral with her, and our foreplay is to fingerblast her at worrying speed. Then there are like five bonus scenes where a girl just masturbates, and at least three times we get the exchange of "this view is beautiful" "mine is better", because they are going at it doggy style and MC can see the girl's ass. I actually don't know if this is supposed to be a joke, it doesn't work for me as sexy talk either.

In summary, a very mixed bag with some clear talent evidently on display. I wish as much work went into the porn bits as into everything else. And drop the cinematics, they don't really add anything and the voice acting is clearly sub-par.

I had been missing out on this one - it really is one of the best games on this site. The dialogue, world building and character development are all top notch. It manages to balance being very funny at times, with some deeply felt character interactions that really draw you in.

On top of all that, the visuals are excellent. The female models are decently varied, but still hot in their own way.

One of my top AVNs. Beautiful models and art direction, and Classy Lemon (the creator) really takes quality and art seriously, and it shows.

What a game, amazing. The story is big and never boring, humor , sexy girls and a mix from western and scifi : I like the interest from Kaylee, Ashe and Emily in each other body ( i hope of more , perhaps a love story between the girls ? ) Kaylee and SAndrA , wow, Kaylee touch SAndrA and like it ( SAndrA too, or ? ) Is the bad so bad or is he get bad by the medallions or the power he had ? I like the background (past ) story of the figure. The animation, superb .
A game i play again and now wait for the next update.
The story is deep in a universe which is dark and bright which all had for a good story and discovery the MC and his members in her mind. Aria is a good character too, they will make the right thing, but is it that ?

Great storyline, lively and distinct characters, amazing renders along with good animation, good punchlines, well-written scenes and great transitions. I mean what more can you ask from a VN, hats-off to the developer for putting in so much effort. I absolutely enjoyed playing this game and eagerly looking towards the next update.

Review as of v0.12 (July 2024)

Citizen Sleeper was my first VN; Eternum was my first AVN, Projekt: Passion my second. So far I'm batting 1000.

The renders in this game are excellent, the animations solid. While the fully animated scenes can feel a little wooden (and shoehorned), I still appreciate them for the effort alone.

The real star of the show is the story. Incredibly well written, with some genuine laugh out loud moments as well of lots of feels. The most important aspect of the writing is the flow. Brevity is good, conciseness is huge, and flow is king. Projekt: Passion does an incredible job developing a branching story with a deep background (and lots of ridiculously hot scenes), without droning on or dragging it out. This is genuinely good writing.

The characters are top notch. They're diverse, varied, complete characters you'll actually care about. Other than the obviously secondary cast, the characters all have unique personalities, motivations and interactions with the MC. Again fantastic writing carries here, especially combined with the incredible character models. I've never been more intrigued by, or attracted to, nonhuman digital characters. I'm absolutely dying for a Red and Blue collaboration (if you know, you damn well know).

Central to all of the above praise is the dev. They've provided a solid amount of content already, creating a story that's stuck with me over several months. Crucially, they've provided quality updates on a consistent timeline, to an already stellar framework. We're currently at version 0.12, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Projekt: Passion is already a must-play, and the dev has laid so much ground at our feet. The stars couldn't be brighter.

EDIT: forgot to mention my feedback. While I appreciate the MC has a normal sized dick, unlike most other AVN's I've checked out, his skin tone is that of a corpse. His hands look like he just got dragged out of the morgue. Also, dude needs to go down on these ladies at some point. There's not a single scene that wouldn't be improved by him giving a little (or a lot) back to these incredible LI's.

SUMMARY: Not bad at all, good models and story but MC is a bit meh

PROS:

1. Really nice and cute looking models, no MILFs though, sad
2. Animations are pretty nice and well done
3. Writing is very good, much thought went into this and its done well.
4. Humour is good, gives me a smile or giggle ever so often and I am not one for finding many things really humorous
5. Content is not bad, there is a good amount, not huge, but more than many other games that have been launched much earlier and still have little content
6. Scifi setting is done well, with some interesting concepts and much thought went into creating the universe.
7. Characters are not bad either, have depth and own motives, agendas and back story.

CONS:

1. MC is a bit lame, he doesnt really strike me as a leader, more like a boy playing a mans role. I also don't like that he has no hair on his body, a gunslinger should be rugged FFS. Also the mask...the mask is really stupid, I don't care what the reasons are, hide the eyes, the head with hat, the hands, but the face? The dude ever brush his teeth? He sleeps, easts, showers, has sex with the fckn thing on all the time and it honestly does not make him dark and mysterious, it makes him look stupid and that the truth!

this is pretty good. art is never an eyesore, which is the litmus paper for me where imagery is concerned.
animations are not bad too aside from the voiceover.
sex scenes are fairly well done. could be better but they are not a drop in standard in comparison to the rest of the art.

plot/writing/dialogue is good enough to keep me reading, which is no mean feat on this site. i have tried maybe a dozen games over the past few weeks (most game updates hold little appeal for my tastes) and only two held any real interest, this being one of them.
there are a few moments of humour that may illicit a smirk or two as the whole thing is light-hearted.

nothing to fault here. tempo works and design seems to fit the mood of the game well enough. not a 5 star for me as if the game was abandoned right now i would lose no sleep.

I've been on this site just a little over a year now, and I've had the opportunity to try many titles. To the point I stopped keeping track of how many. And to this day I can literally count on one hand the titles that are really worth the time and download.

I had come across this title before, and silly me, I let myself fall for the impressions of the title page get to me. I made the huge mistake of judging the proverbial book by it's cover, and I regret that now. I'm super glad I finally gave this title a chance, and literally within the first 5 scenes, I was hooked.

Practically from the start you get a strong sense that the story was well prepared, the characters well fleshed-out. The writing makes sense, that it makes reading through this a real pleasure. I'm loving the attention to detail, a huge plus for me (and readers in general). Playing through this does not feel like a chore of mentally fixing bad expressions or trying to decipher what the actual message is supposed to be. For a rare instance where I don't feel like just skipping everything. It's quite the opposite actually, it's at the point where I'm actually taking my time to fully enjoy each scene.

The animations are by far some of the best I've seen, if not flat-out the best, and not over the top like some creators I shouldn't mention. If I wasn't boycotting Patronizer, I'd happily sub monthly. So given my position about that site my other option is to head over to Steam and buy it as soon as I hit submit! And I'll make sure to give it an equal high praise over there just the same. Actual talent deserves my full support!

Great Game, the story is good and the characters are well built. Diferent personalities and great vibes. The humor is awesome, one of the best I ve seen which give this gtame a lot of value! Great sound tracks and enviroment sound. The only thing it could be better are the animations, but i dont care, its still a 5 star game. Good Job Dev!

Review is for the first part of the game (through 0.7). Can't bring myself to play any further than that.

+1 star for the main menu music - perfect presentation
+1 star for smooth animations and cutscenes w/some voiceover work
-3 stars for the juvenile humor that completely ruins the game and story
-1 star for locking any/all future interaction with each LI based on their first chance. If you turn down their advance (i.e. if you aren't their toy and give in to them immediately), you won't see anything with them for the rest of the game. In other words - they get to choose when to have you, and you never get to choose when to have them.
-1 star for the poor camera angles during sex scenes. It's like rated X instead of XXX - almost nothing interesting is shown during sex.

That leaves the game at 2 stars, which is frankly a fair score for something that I've tried hard to continue playing, but just can't stomach due to how cringeworthy it all is. And the fapability is almost non-existent - there was no satisfaction or entertainment received from this at all.

First time I wrote a review on this site (actually first time I was motivated to find out HOW to write a review on this site, but I digest...)

Projekt: Passion certainly is in the top 1% of VNs on this site. The story, character development and renders are top notch. It is clear a tremendous amount of effort was put into this VN. I defy even the most ardent scroll monkey to not get caught up in the story. It is that good. As it has been mentioned, it is also very funny. I laughed out loud three times in Season One with many snorts and giggles as well.

Although, I am not really into monster and alien girl LIs - the few that are present are interesting enough to keep my attention. Don't worry, there are plenty of "human" looking girls. Even the aliens are humanoid, although one has a tail...a forked tail...

For those looking for a captivating story with varied characters, humor and some naughty encounters, this is for you. While this review is really for Season One, I anticipate Season Two will be just as captivating. I'll let you know dear reader after I complete the next season.

I think this is the funniest game I've ever played. I don't remember laughing so much during any other games, so the first big positive is writing and humour.

I really like the story and the setting, it's original, must have taken a lot of time for dev to create it and I appreciate not going with something simple like college.

I'm also amazed about quality of videos in this game. I think this is the first game I ever played (and I played all "top" games from here) where you have some sort of "cut-scenes" or something like this, and this is incredible - at certain points in the game you just watch a short movie (with voices and all) and if I think how much time "simple" animation takes to render, something like this must just taking ages.

Girls are beautiful, amazing, interesting, I'm happy to chase every single one of them and I can't wait to see where these relationships will go. I don't want to pick favourites, they're all awesome, another part of many things that make this game great.

Can't wait for future updates, keep up the good work man. It's already an amazing game, can't wait for it to be completed.

I cant emphasize enough how much the giant ogre-cocked MC's that are packing like 2 foot schlongs is silly. Just a breath of fresh air to finally have something in the realm of reality. Also made intimate scenes way less clunky and awkward if im being honest. Then again, idk how it isn't awkward when you have an actual spear in your pants that somehow rests all the way up to your nips, who knows.

I also loved how fast you got to resolve the Childhood friend feelings, most games tend to take it on a long winded path, where its awkward and the tensions just never-ending, this game really made sure to deliver and make things way less awkward and tropey. Was grateful for that.

A lot of humor, getting the game over screens are rewarding in a way because its always a funny choice that is pretty clear with consequences and yeah. All in all a pretty good ride.

Nice story, excellent humor, nice animations... this game made me enjoy VN again. Cut scenes, music, all fits and doesn't take itself seriously, but in a good way.
CONS: well... i haven't find any yet i just wish the best to the developer because this is one of the really good ones.
