    very generic scenes

girls ranging from android, to alien, to some d..mn devil spawn,

    just boring

Story is great, characters are great, the balance of serious story beats and humor is on point. Animations? Great as well, if I had to complain about something is that I want more updates faster, but even that is not a real complaint as the update cycles are very good and always bring meaningful content.
This game deserves it's place in the first page on weighted ratings and in my opinion is one of the best games in the site.

    An absolutely incredible experience.

This is the game that got me into AVNs, I found it on Steam but had to make an account here just to support the creator.

Everything about this game is so enjoyable, the characters are all likeable and interesting. The story is simple but intriguing. The humor is amazingly well written. All of this make for a narrative that's more enjoyable than what you'll find in most AAA games these days.

I absolutely ADORE this game! I've seen it streamed and played it a bunch of times at this point and loved so much of it!

I'm an easy guy to please admittedly and if a game can make me laugh, it's already doing better than most others. And boy, does this game make me laugh! Comedy on point, characters done well with a cast that really captures the motley crew type of adventure!

The writing is solid, the music was well done, and the pacing of the story was also fairly good too. Oh and we can't forget the voice acting, a rarity in the VN sphere but always appreciated just for the attempt! Now, I'm not saying it's perfect, the story does have some moments I wish that picked up and slowed down and the VA wasn't always perfect, but it didn't detract enough from the experience to grind my gears.

All-in-all, I would suggest Projekt: Passion to anyone who's interested in VNs as a great VN to put on their "Must Read" list!

    Review of v0.10

This is a hard one for me. There's a lot of good in this game, but I had a really tough time with it. I acknowledge that some of that came from my tastes, but there's no such thing as an objective rating; I can only tell you my experience.

I'll start with Projekt Passions's main strength: a strong plot. Despite my struggles in other areas, I was compelled to get to the end of the game in only about 3 sittings. It's not the most novel thing concept ever - another "guy who recruits a crew of hot girls to accompany his adventures in space" story - but it's told well, and even though none of the characters have received enough character development yet, I was still excited to see their progression (except for the mc). There's a really good villain who's a bit but not too sympathetic.

The game also has great visuals. The quality is great, the animations are smooth but still dynamic, the models are cute, and the art direction is great. It even makes the typically bland spaceship interiors look (relatively) interesting.

But. I had to skip through the sex scenes. The only times I've ever had to that before are when the dialogue is cringe-inducing. That's not the case here: while the dialogue isn't especially hot, it doesn't contain any distracting jokes. The problem for me was the mc. I couldn't stand looking at him having sex. Why? It's hard to say exactly. But the problem was worst when he took off his mask. He wears his mask almost all of the time outside sex scenes, only taking it off when getting intimate with girls he's especially close with. Now, normally mcs are given masks because seeing faces can turn players off; this is the same reason some people never watch porn where you can see a guy's face. I confirmed with the dev that the mc was not given a mask for this reason, and indeed it makes some narrative sense to use it as an indicator of when he's close to a girl. For me, I'm fine with mc faces being shown, but (apparently) only if I've gotten used to them outside sex scenes already.

This might seem like a minor problem, but this created a disconnect between me and the mc, which bled into the rest of the game. Projekt Passion has a really interesting dialogue system which gives quite a lot of leeway for roleplaying, but after the disconnect I was no longer as interested in his character.

A noticable though not so important problem I had was the bad voice acting. The mc sounds like he can't decide whether he has an English or American accent, and as characters in the game remark, it doesn't suit his character model. The girls almost all have generic American accents which don't match them either; the pitch, depth and tone just don't sound like they look. In real life, of course people's voices don't always match their looks, but in animated media, we have come to expect a certain variation from reality. However, there isn't much voice acting in the game, so it wasn't a major issue. Though this also hurt it in that you get used to reading the dialogue in your internal voice, only to be shaken out of it occasionally.

Finally, there's a very annoying narrative contrivance with one of the girls as of v0.10 which I hope gets resolved soon.

TL;DR Good story, good visuals, bad voice acting. And if you have a problem looking at other guys' faces during sex, you're gonna have to skip some scenes.

There really isn't much for me to say: This is one of the best games out there and rightfully deserves all the attention it gets. It's immensely high quality, has great funny moments and the writing with each individual characters is just so good.

That said, the creator is also an amazing being and I highly recommend engaging with him and the community.

Ashe fans eating good with the later chapters.

I don't know what I was expecting but this game passed with flying colors. Plot is funny and well constructed, graphics and animations are good and acting is professional. Character design is superb as girls have natural proportions and their background is interesting. Main character is charismatic and cool.

For me, this is a solid 5/5. This is what I expect for an entertaining adult game done by a sci-fi lover.

Awesome, one of the best games I played

Story is awesome, never laughed so much in any visual novel

Girls are beautiful with realistic bodies for once, no huge breasts or ass here, and with good personalities and backstories

Music and sound effects help the immersion a lot, especially in the season 2 updates

I don't think this game is a bad game "fundamentally", but when in it comes to "adult" part, love interests and the mix of the story progress / erotic scene progress, it became quickly a mess.

I like visual novels, but this game is barely visual novel (aka kinetic), because even though most of the time it will give you 3 choices, they are mostly "pseudo-ish" choices with no big changes after all.

    A masterpiece.

    The narrative direction is amazing!

Even though the player cannot change the events (apart from deciding which planet to go to first) just being part of the adventure is incredible.

Most of the females partners are completly adorable, and the ability to keep learning their life histories is on point. They turn out to be really likeable charactes that have actual depth, they have their on problems, traumas and a lot of real life struggles.

Classy did a really good job humanizing most of the characters.

    Also, love the comedy!

    [Reviewed v0.10]

This game hits all the right notes -- fun premise and story, good models and tons of H-scenes with animations, hours of content. If you like harem games with a sci-fi setting, this may become a favorite.

    The Good ((y))
    • A diversity of love interests with different personalities and body types, although most builds skew slimmer (which is refreshing compared to many other games)
    • Well-done environments with some unique settings
    • Surprising humor that made me laugh out loud at certain moments
    • Entertaining, well-paced story content -- there's a real narrative here
    • Effective use of cut-scenes to heighten the drama at key moments, including voice acting
    • An MC that is likeable and you feel like you can root for
    The Not-So-Good ((n))
    • For a game that receives such great ratings and has such a cinematic approach, I was let down by the renders -- the visual styling feels a few years behind the best titles
    • The beats of the story are somewhat predictable -- story/narrative scene > scene with an LI > story/narrative scene > scene with an LI > rinse and repeat
    • The villainous organization and main antagonist somehow feels very low stakes -- its like the leader of a small-town gang is fronting the galaxy's largest corporate enterprise
This is a very good game that doesn't quite reach the same heights as the best titles in the genre, but is absolutely worth playing especially if you are a fan of sci-fi.

This game definetly has Humor, that's for sure. The Story is def pretty good. The girls are hot. not a lot of games with Alien Sex in them thats a good premise. Some scenes are pretty hardcore in the factor of Drug Addiction, Murder and Suicide. This Game is not for weak nerves or people that have issues with any of this. I would still recommend playing it just for the Humor of it.

This game is damn good in terms of story and not just sex! (y)

shit, it's like I'm watching a science fiction movie with cinematic animation!

Really cool game, from fun to sadness, from sadness to excitement, it's incredible, and also the music is really good, smooth animations that unfold slowly, as if you were watching a movie, Mc which has both jokes and sadness, not even such an alpha, but just pleasant the main character, the girls are very lively and beautiful in their own way, facial expressions and interactions are all well implemented!

Very impressive VN. Technically high quality models and animations, but the best thing is the story. A tight, disciplined narrative, literate grammar and spelling, characters you actually care about, and a good balance between humour and drama. Bought Season One on Steam, and looking forward to updates. Well done.

Can't think of anything to criticise except maybe the voice acting, which doesn't add much.

Wow... this is on another level. Grabbed me in the first couple of seconds with the humour.

5 stars for everything - visuals, story, gameplay. Stay Classy Lemon! Highly recommend, hope it gets completed soon.

Very good game with much good points:
    - cool animations. The voice acting is weird for me since most/all AVN i ever played don't have one I qualify as good enough to let it on (usually I mute the voices when it's ai or bad), but here, it's not too much. That may also be the weirdest thing: the voice becomes something I enjoy, and it's only for the "cool"/story animation which are scarce by nature.
    - good characters and character growth
    - the sex is interwined in the story, which is very good too
    - the story is interesting. Chthulu in space basically but it works.
    - the universe/galaxy building is okay.

At the moment, I find the game is going in good place, but what may be my only neutral point is the bonus scenes. Usually I don't like to have side stories. Here, they are rather well thought and appear as flashbacks from earlier in the episode, so it's okay. What is neutral about them it's that, up to 0.10 I'm reviewing, they are always one female pleasuring herself. I get why by nature (because of the "flash back" thing) but it becomes a bit redundant so I expect them to start varying in nature or else be boring and become a true flaw.

During the sex scene, I'm not a fan of the description of what happens in "thoughts" of MC, but it helps conveying what the sex-animation cannot so I accept it.

All considered, 5 stars now, hoping that dev's promises that the quality will remain are true.

The story of the game is very impressive and gripping. The scenes are very realistic and beautifully constructed. Only the script is a little short. Translations are also quite sufficient. I advise. I am impatiently waiting for the other seasons of the series.

    its worth it,

the animations are smooth like something that is quite rare on avn´s!

the story is really good, i do not enjoy this type of settings,
i am more a slave trainer or college adventure type of dude but this one hits just right!

might be a bit biased i also enjoyed the dev previous game but never rated it cause it was finished too fast!

this one however you can see the improvement, so i am rating it cause its well deserved and classy deserves the love!

    This review is of [v0.10]

Is there anything wrong with this VN? I have a hard time conceiving that there is. I'm not a natural member of the audience for a harem game. I usually avoid them, but I'm glad I didn't avoid this one. Maybe there is a lack of deep emotional connection between the applicable characters? Some people seem to have thought that. But I'm not convinced. I think MC and Kaylee care for each other deeply. They just aren't possessive about it. I could even see this as perhaps a norm that has arisen in the dystopian hellscape into which they were born. They're both lucky enough to have access to wealth, but it's tenuous, and comes with baggage. They are each one step away from poverty and powerlessness, if not death. In a situation like that, maybe you don't dare try for love? Maybe you can't afford to hitch your wagons?

All the other love interests have reasons not to be, or to even want to be committed to the MC. But they don't really fit the 'friends with benefits' trope, either. There is a real need and care with all of them. It's well written and believable in this context, anyway. None of the sex feels gratuitous (yes, in a porn game!) or exploitative.

And the story is rich, and detailed, and so immersive. I believe in this universe, and I believe in these characters. (Even if maybe the universe is hard enough on parents that even Disney would blanch.)

Indeed the only truly unbelievable elements are the obvious comedic relief characters, and that too-often used trope seen since the earliest westerns: 'we'll all stand in close proximity and aim our guns at each other while monologuing (or not) and when the dust clears, the MC will still be standing.' There is the one case where this is actually believable, because it happens through the use of a cybernetic enhancement, and it comes with a cost. But otherwise, it feels perhaps a little too cartoonish for some of the heft of the rest of the VN. But even this is not something wrong with it, it's an artistic choice.

The animations, the posing, even the intricate details of eye position and simple movements of the eyes are at a level almost unmatched in this space. The cutscenes all flow perfectly and are a true enhancement of the narrative, rather than a distraction as they almost always are in other VNs.

The sex scenes are real and intimate, with meticulous care in the animation.

The sounds, voices, and the soundtrack are all appropriate, and again, a true enhancement of the experience.

The script is almost too good for the format. One could imagine this VN rendered in a much more expensive form. Completey animated, live action - anything.

The humor feels effortless and appropriate. The pathos is never overplayed in any individual character's arc, but perhaps it's a bit unbelievable that everyone but the MC has such a tragic backstory. (Indeed, he may also and we just haven't seen it yet.) Yet each character feels so psychologically real, that the stories work.

(As a quick for-instance, and a breathtaking psychological study: why does Emily need validation? Why do you have the unique power to change her character? Because she did not receive a solid emotional or psychological foundation at home, with parents who did not love her. She is still searching for it, like a baby bird, waiting to pattern on the first who will accept her. Such a character would be impossible in the hands of a lesser writer.)

(And I just thought of this one! Why does the 'ninja assassin' Ashe counsel Emily to use restraint? Because Ashe knows intimately what indiscriminate, impersonal killing costs. Rather than become a monster herself, she seeks to help Emily not to become one.)

There's a lot more packed into this VN. One could spill an awful lot of ink saying what is right about it.

Projekt: Passion. I'm just going to say it. It's a masterpiece.
