Hi Guys,

I know that there were couple posts of similar topic, but none really answered my questions in full. In general - I just launched my game Become Alpha and I wonder what I can do to spread the word. I'm unbelievably happy with the response I got so far, and want to strike while the iron is hot.

So, couple points:

1. I noticed sites like gamcore.com or others - what are the best sites like that in your opinion. Is it worth to put your game there?

2. Reddit, or other sites like F95Zone - are there any other worth the time?

3. I've noticed some people put their games on steam - is it something you can do with an HTML game? How would I even start.

4. Twitter? I've heard Twitter is actually pretty strong for porn content, but I'm not sure because I'm not using it.

What other things could I do to push it forward?

Thanks
GM

You could probably package a HTML game up in an EXE, but that sounds like a lot of work for an audience that probably won't love you for it. Instead, use the fact that you're zero-friction to hit the various places pervs gather for online games:
- You mentioned Gamcore, it can be a huge boost, so just do it.
- Newgrounds is actually alive and kicking, browser-playable only, go upload
- itch.io has a lively in-browser community, free to upload.

1. As Droid said go with Newgrounds, big site
3. Still about the exe and desktop application... you can use electron:

It is a wrapper of webapp and has native executable files for all the system, I didn't use it much, check its documentation, but... I saw a bit you game, it is HILARIOUS, good job, but I don't think you can pass on steam with those pictures.

As a new developer myself I only found fap-nation.com to be as impactful as f95zone.
Reddit gave us next to no exposure, even tho I posted to multiple subreddits, including the ones having our fetish as a main theme.

Great to know, I was also wasting time on Reddit:(

i wondered, How can you get these supporters?
As rec said in the other post; focus on improving your game. The English sounds a big part of the problem; see if you can find an editor or proof-reader to help you. My English is fairly decent, but I've still had a lot of great help from my discord fans doing proof-reading and feedback. While you search for something like that, you might want to check out Grammarly, which a lot of devs (including native English speakers) use to help improve their English.

People will respond well to you learning and growing, so don't lose hope and don't lose your cool.

Try to get on Empornium and upload your game there. I was on there before I ever knew about F95 and used to get my adult games there. That is if you're okay with piracy as a form of marketing, which I assume you are, considering you're here.

I was curious about this as well, because I'm getting ready to post my game on a few different sites soon. I was mostly just familiar with here, fap-nation, and a few adult game subreddits. If anyone else knows of any good ones, I would love to hear about it. I'm not worried about whether the site is big on piracy or not, all I care about is building a decent community around my game and getting it seen by more players.
