This game feels fucking wholesome and hot at the same time. The MC is a caring pet owner who one day discovers that his cat has turned into a beautiful catgirl. The submissive personality of the female lead who is a cat in a woman's body is a hot concept. I have not seen many games with catgirls emulate cat behaviour so well.

The graphics are great. The female model is really well done proportions wise. The dialogues and sex scenes are really good as well. I recommend this game to anyone who finds the concept of catgirls enticing.

To be honest, I thought I'd dislike this game. I'm not a fan one way or another of catgirls, as it mainly makes me think of creepy weirdos from Reddit. I love harem though, and the name "Short 'N' Sweet" gave me hope because I'm sort of over every game needing this super-complex story that I honestly almost never care about.

Thankfully, this was exactly what I wanted: no real choices but also enough story to keep me from just holding down skip until a sex scene, and great models and animations.

Again, not a catgirl fan. But Amber, the main girl in the part currently available, has an INCREDIBLE body. Her tits are just about perfect, with amazing nipples. Slim waist, nice hips, beautiful pussy. If I had one nitpick I might think that there is a tiny, tiny bit too much "wetness" on her pussy at times, but it is also better than no wetness, so I'll take it.

I hope other devs take note of this. I don't need you to spend months coming up with this super-complex and involved story most of the time. A very, very small number of devs actually are good enough that I want to read it (Drifty of Leap of Faith being the foremost in my mind). The rest of them are mostly just convoluted ways of explaining how my Dad died and now I'm attracted to my Mom and sisters. We get it, who cares about the details?? Most of us won't remember (if we even read your dialogue in the first place) the story once we've achieved our goal anyway.

Make great models and animations, make us feel enough connection with the girls that we care about them, and then give us great sex scenes. Why it needs to be more complicated than that, I have no idea.

I'd bet the vast majority of devs would scoff at how "simple" this novel/game is too. Well, take note, because this dev has earned himself a Patreon follow as this is exactly the kind of thing I want to see more of. Well, it doesn't have to be catgirls, but you get my point.

This is a refreshingly sincere and honest game. In that it has no pretentions of being anything more than what it's trying to be: a power fantasy porn VN. It was obviously made to cater to one type of dude but that in and of itself isn't inherently a bad thing.

It has great animations, great renders and models tied with some rather mediocre storytelling, thankfully the story is rather barebones. It's a ridiculous tale that it cleverly just doesn't try to justify, your cats are girls now and you get to bed 'em. And it works because there's no expectation of deep lore, the game makes that clear. The asspull regarding the "mark" is kinda unnecessary and bullshit though.

A lot of porn game developers get this ridiculous notion of attempting to write something deep and grand and fail completely, especially in harem games, as harem itself is unrealistic and exploitative and just can't be done convincingly with realistic characters. It just comes across as pretentious. This game avoids all of these pitfalls by just not playing to that tune.

Ok so the game is really good and there isnt really any negative to say about it that i can see. The game as really good art style and really good sound design to match with the background music not being to over bearing or non existent. The game has a really good foundation and hope it continues with this good pace

I think my rating on this game boils down a lot more to personal preferences than things being objectively bad, but as someone who's favorite lewd games tend to be cute and cozy, hear me out for a second on why this isn't really doing it for me.

Obviously the name got my attention. Being into harem games and sickeningly sweet romance this stuck out like a beacon. I think the premise itself is great and would fit the vibe perfectly. You wake up one day and your girl cat is now a cat girl. I admit I find it a little uncanny maybe is the word that it seems more like a cat brain was put into a human woman since she acts completely like a cat still, but as she starts to gain intelligence you get over it. Simple enough plot anyway.

You ever just see someone and get an off vibe from them? The MC gives me that feeling. Like you can't shake the idea he might secretly be a psychopath plotting out his next kill. I think his looks contribute to part of that, but when I was thinking about why it was making me feel that way is where I found my problem with this game.

To me, instead of your typical sappy cute romance, the MC seems to treat Amber (the cat girl) like his property. Your definition of romance may very, but I have never quite been into that sort of sub/dom dynamic? And I put a question mark there because I'm not even sure that necessarily fits. It's like the MC always has to remind her "btw don't forget you're mine you belong to me" but in a way that comes off kind of creepy, almost paranoid, if that makes sense. It really puts me off personally.

It would help if this game didn't time skip so much. I get it, "Short N Sweet," but I like to watch the romance build up and see all the cute moments play out. This sort of fast forwards through most of that with time skips, and the issue there is that what it does show just lacks that charm to make up for it. It feels a little too forced and maybe generic. The week time skip isn't as bad, but the two month one jarred me. You suddenly are lovers with Amber in a way that feels fabricated. The "I love you" lines feel empty and lack that emotional weight behind them. I also think that purity mark thing is weird and plays into that "I own you" feel as well, but I digress.

Best thing about this is the animations by far. Pretty solid. Renders are nice too but it feels like half of the game is shot through a security camera or something with that sort of fisheye effect and many corner of the room angles. Amber's model is a little too doll-like for me but I'm kinda nitpicking at that point.

It's almost like the game is trying hard to be inoffensive to a certain type of harem gamer, but I'm sure a lot of people will like this at the end of the day anyway. This just didn't really do it for me as someone who is into sweet romance.

As the name says it is a short and sweet game. The animations, dialogues and story are really good. I am amazed that the dev managed to put even some backstory in such a short game.
