How to even run this in VR? I start SteamVR and run the game. Then i choose VR when the game asks if i want to play Desktop or VR (the game is still on desktop at this point). But all it does is change the screen and my desktop looks like the image below. It does not run on the VR headset at all.

Could it be, that the downloads are all desktop versions only? At least all the file names have "desktop" in it.

No, i have a Valve Index. When i just start the exe, the game just starts on desktop but never switches on VR. I played other VR games made in Unity and those started in VR without Steam too, but this one does not. Im not a developer, but maybe there is some sort of setting or options that need to be enabled in Unity to make the Index work?

After a google search, the error could also be on my side. I found some 3-4 year old posts on different sites that mention "OpenXR" settings in Steam that have to be enabled. However, since then the Steam UI changed and i cant find it in my settings right now. So, im not even sure if that is the error or not. Especially, since i have had no problems with other Unity games in the past. Maybe others who use the Index as well will give some feedback about if it works for them or not.

Another update... I found the option in the steam settings itself, apparently one option in the OpenXR settings named "Meta plugin compatibility" is Off on default. However, swiching it to either "automatic" or "on" does not change anything for me. Maybe ill have the time to test it further another time, but at least i cant get the game to run in VR on an Index for now.

Mmmmm sorry I don't have the ways to test that out yet=/
As far as I know, the configuration I'm using in Unity should be generic enough to be compatible with any headset.

In the game, when you Select VR mode, what happens is that the Game activate the "VR camera" in the private room. That's why if you try the desktop version should work fine. But yeah, There must be something that doesnt match your headset with that.

Nice to see this game is being worked on, or mostly restarted by the looks of things.
The environment looks much better than the old builds, I like that there can be extra characters in the room.
The character menu seemed a bit off, it all worked but the naked button was always highlighted regardless of what was active. I assume it was supposed to highlight the button of the active outfit.
I also found it tricky to set the world at the correct position, and everything seemed a bit small. Some controls for adjusting these would be useful.

I look forward to seeing where this goes, It is still very bare-bones for now.

Please do, at the very least the Desktop version, it's unrar and play and you'll be testing it in 5min.

I think that in VR you'll get the Best experience, but you should try it anyways!

Performance is definitely something I’m working on, and adding graphic settings is already on my list. Little by little I’ll be including these options to improve the experience!

I think that you should Sideload the Oculus Version. Not the android (They are both .apk)
