"Puzzle Princess"

Princess: "My hero! Just like in fairy tales, the brave knight rescues the helpless princess."

You: "...Fairy tale, or not, that dress COMES OFF by midnight." :sneaky::devilish:

THX for the share...
Honestly, I think stripping is the best mechanic of all time. I'm going to make damn sure it's a core mechanic of every single one of my games.

Question for any of y'all. I know the demo only has 20 and 30 piece puzzles, but for custom, what would be the max amount of pieces any of you would want to do? I think it's capped at 250 right now, but nothing in the campaign goes above 120. Is 120 a good amount. or should I scale it differently?

My good man, I think a much better way to garner feedback on this, would be by letting people play the puzzles with the 100 pieces plus. So far I can only speak for the 2 demo pictures, and they were just very relaxed and cozy, obviously quite doable, especially if you quickly managed to line up an edge piece and then work yourself forward from there <3

Oh, yeah I guess I can just do that. Lemme open the demo up to puzzle 5. I did tweak the numbers down a little bit, since it was just a little bit annoying at 100+ pieces. You can always do a custom puzzle, I think I allow up to 250 pieces there. I'll have the new demo version updated soonish.

Alright played a little more of the demo, very enjoyable. I'd say the campaign puzzles remain nicely doable and relaxing, though with 50 pieces you start to fiddle a little, but still in a comfortable way.

The way you have an auto-snap feature enabled really lets you guess the correct position of a piece and create multiple islands of the puzzle to work on and connect.

I did play the Assassin puzzle with 150 custom pieces. It was doable, but took a fair bit of time. Again the auto-snap with a bit of trial & error really saves you at the start, and the Assassin girl has a fair bit of contrast on their pic, which helps.

Eventually you get enough stuff solved, you can start to really fill in the holes and slap pieces down, but I can see how 150 pieces with a girl that blends more into the background or has less clear features could become a bit of a chore.

Gotcha! I was getting a little tired of the puzzles myself when I was hitting 120-150. I think the smaller puzzles are just a little more fun. Having to take 10+ minutes on a single puzzle seems a bit much to me.

I mean you definitely figured it out by yourself I'd say. 40-80 is nicely regular difficulty, 80-120 gets harder, 120-160 starts becoming a little work. Then again, since the pieces are already correctly aligned, so you don't have to rotate, and snap to the place they are supposed to go with a little trial & error, you probably could solve puzzles with a lot of pieces.

I don't know how monitor size plays into it, I played it on a bog-standard 16:9 laptop, so maybe with a 4k monitor, you'd have a lot of space to the side to sort pieces and even tackle 300 piece puzzles.

Anyway good luck on the future development! Always happy to puzzle some cute girl pics as relaxtion ^^

Well hell yeah. Anyway, the game is released now on Steam! Hopefully I can count on all, or some of you to give it a try and review if you could!
