VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Queen of Spade [Final] [Sinccubus]

This one was a huge dissapointment, mostly because it actually had potential.

The setting is really engaging, at it has some nice backgrounds and music which adds some decent atmosphere to the game. The character designs are also pretty nice, especially the queen herself. Most scenes are also animated, which is a huge plus.

So where does it all fall apart? First, and foremost, the writing. It's quite simply very bad. Most of the interactions between characters are just way too unnatural and at times non-sensical, while offering little to no suspense. The main thematic of the story should be about the queens corruption. She starts out as a kind-hearted lady who saves an enemy soldier from death, which is a great starting point, but her corruption is pretty much instant from the first meeting with said soldier. There's no substance to the thematics of the story, or the characters themselves. It's also way too short, for what it's trying to do/be.

It's absolutely full of spelling mistakes and severe grammatical errors. Like, a lot. A LOT.

Also, the story unfortunately gives you close to NO choices at all. The few choices you are presented with while going through the story from the sons point of view is basically "Pick this option if you want to watch a scene" or "pick this if you don't want to watch a scene". Also, certain choices have NO effect on the story, regardless of what choice you pick.

All in all, a squandered opportunity. This game really needs a full remake from the ground up, both gameplay-wise and writing-wise.

This game is a complete disappointment. Saw the game size and was hoping for a game with a lot choices or a lot of sex scenes. The game barely has any of those. The choices are only for the Prince and they don't really lead to anything. And the sex scenes aren't really that satisfying either. The queen as the most scenes but they're all not by your choice and her fall is quick as hell. While the two other female characters get one scene each which have horrible dialogue and narration (or none at all).

If I had anything good to say then it'd be that the women in this game are hot. But that's not saying much because this is a porn game.

This is a 30 minute kinetic novel that is the size of a game that would actually have at least 2 hours of content.

3 story lines to follow. the first story has 4 choices. the other 2 stories have zero choices. this is a kinetic novel. linear story that gives u no control. and for a 5GB game i went through it in under a half hour.

It's just kinda boring I like interracial but this has almost nothing it has about 5-6 sex scenes that are from the prince's pov blurry and far away or almost censored and for some reason choices even though they pretty much do nothing and are only in prince pov but the different storylines are nothing there is pretty much no reason to bother reading any of the princes skip through it then play the mother to get some sex scenes and the other just has two sex scenes and all of them have kinda blurry animation but it's definitely not the worst I've seen on here but nowhere close to the best id just remove the choices and have all the scenes play out in one go it's still be as short and you won't have to click the start button again. For right now the Gallery is broken but that happens a lot so not holding against them but its 5GB for almost no content and the download time is longer than the game,
