I particularly liked the game, it's simple but also very interesting. I think I should also add some submission options would be really cool.
I second that. I love Akabur's (or Akaman now, apparently) arts, and as a long standing creator in the R34 community he certain have the creds to back it up. But as you said, the genie character is WAAAYY overused. It made sense for the Jasmine games or anything take place in that world, so no problem. But once he start using the genie as a placeholder for every game he made, and all the copycats or anyone emulating his style start to use "the hooded guy" for their Trainer game, the joke have run well and truly dried.I used to like akabur games. But newer games are better , even the one with trash 3d graphics. I can not point out why though . He is a good artist, possibly one of the best in these kind of games. Might be because "the genie" model is so fucking overused and making the protagonist a character who can solve anything out from wave of a hand makes it dull. Very small possibility for character growth especially when you are a imposter who is immortal. It becomes a picture gallery and not a game if you let your art decide the story. There are better ways to make a longer story with less grinding without increasing the cost and time investment. Many non-erotic VN use the same basic 10 sprites to tell like 15 hour long stories. I think we need something like that.
Seems like it might be a bit of wish fulfillment at this point the genie character is a representation for Akabur himself. He probably gets a bit of a thrill putting himself into the game in some warped powerful version.I second that.
