As a person that has followed Akabur since the beginning, this is really disappointing. Yes for the lack of trainer mechanics, yes for how shallow and grindy everything feels, but most of all for the chibi art focus, or in many cases no art at all. Genuinely just a much worse Princess Trainer, and that hurts me to say.

hmmmm actually after givng it some more time, i'd say that the future queen (jasmine) story of the game doesn't strike me as interesting as everythin not part of said story.
gonna have to revise my review a bit, too.
oh about the fonts bug at endings, it's ok to just hit (ignore) until the error goes away, haven't faced anything catastrophic after doing so. it's a few complaints until that one font is no longer used in the next picture.

They seems happy few have sayd they still miss something i was one of them but generaly people was happy
Personaly i think this game can become much better with a gold version if he need idea we can give him some
I'm probably going to have to shelve this until some of the bugs are worked out.
As for my interim review, there are some games that don't respect the player's time. This game goes way past that are actively disrespects the players time. I was hoping it would get better as I went along, but seeing as how a lot of the requirements for proceeding are tied to money, a missed + sign in the code causing you to lose all your money in multiple places is unforgivable. Joke achievements that can cause you to spend an hour trying to make them pop, because they don't pop until the next day. Inscrutable mechanics that cause you to have no clear path forward to achieve your goals. Hey, you want to lift that massive boulder? No problem, just max your strength out? Oh, that DOESN'T do it? Too bad, TRY AGAIN NEXT YEAR, and there is no explanation on what you can do differently!
Basically, this was an alpha build released as a finished build, probably because the game is so grindy that the beta testers just couldn't be arsed to play through it.

Pretty sure he was also in jail for the last few years. You gotta remember folks that despite the fact a lot of the indie porn game scene comes from Russian devs it's technically illegal to produce the games under Russian law.

I think if someone came along and used AI to copy Akabur's style, they could add visuals to many of the scenes that currently are only described. I'm willing to bet if there were illustrations for all the scenes, the complaints here would be much much less.

I don't think they were Russians. I think ukranians before the 2022 were leaders.
As I recall if you look at his games the language options are explicitly Russian using the Russian variation of the Cyrillic alphabet and English, not Ukrainian using the Ukrainian variation of Cyrillic and English. Also while we only conversed in English I actually had direct contact with Akabur years ago because some of the files in his official download for Witch Trainer were corrupted and I'm pretty sure his emails were coming out of Russian ip's.

Slow down a bit, please. Almost all Ukrainian people speak russian. Before 2022 most of citizens of Ukraine speak only in russian (even Zelensky learn ukrinian in 2021 - check this fact). There are strong culture connections between two countries and people, and big company to switch primary language to ukrainian starting only on 2022 as answers of current conflict.
By that way language in games means nothing. And I support point that most of H-devs are Ukraine citizens. Honestly I don't know why.
