I have no personal stake or interest in this game or the previous one whatsoever. Hell, I don't even like VN games all that much myself, I'm more of an RPG maker type of guy. But this quote, this quote is worth a gold star if I can give one. These are the words of someone who knows exactly the kind of pain it feel like for slow as fuck developers to take forever while stealing patron money.
since it was abandoned...can we say...quest failed sucessfully?
Ha! I just googled this game yesterday as I hadn't heard about it in years just to see it was never going to release. Here it is abandoned next day.

I just checked patreon and discord... the game does not seem to be abandoned, there isn't any claims from the creator stating so and this threat just has been updated with a leaked alpha that is like 5/6 times longer than the previous one and with an ending to the main story it seems, but admittedly i sadly pressed skip to the final scene right at the end and just got to see a 'to be continued' (instead of 'end of the alpha' that it showed in the previous version) which we all kinda knew since the dev said long ago they wanted a trilogy (just still with a couple of placeholders and side-quest unfinished as the dev said long ago), this seems like a pretty long VN with an ending and still being polished... what are people on about (this thing weights almost as much gb as the trilogy of House of Fata Morgana, a VN that goes on for 35 hours for what i see for coomparison... so it's either actually a TON of content or VERY poor management of size) ? Also people are talking like this JUST got the "abandoned" tag now... this threat has had the abandoned tag for over three years because that's the policy for games without public releases in such a long time and I guess nobody updated it after the new alpha dropped here...
Complain about what's taking so long and milking (that's fair), but the game is not abandoned, has a story ending (so it seems), we just got a leak here that seems to be like 12h+ of content depending on reading speed, and at least is advancing even at a snail's pace (that's more than some other devs can say).
Am I missing something?

Funny story- this game has been stuck in neutral for less time than Summertime Saga but for some reason SS still has 34000 patrons and this game has like 150.

Thanks for the update who ever was able to get hands on this build.
It ´s so long I played it that it wasn ´t easy to say if it ´s just a reload of the old alpha or something new, when I get it right this is the final build of main story from last year that is polished with side quests now, before there will be a public release someday? It has more scenes, text and some voice cover compared to the old alpha, but I didn ´t play much so far.
From Dev view that was a nice thing, the game progress went so slow, that even F95 lost interest in uploading updates of the game and nobody seemed to care, meanwhile he had his patrons paying him monthly money. The game was not really abandoned, it just takes ages to be completed with massive story and text.

HA! i've seen the light, god has bestowed enlightenent on me, praise the lord.
Now i know why Summertime Saga still running and this game NOT.......
One game still has lots of cows to milk and the other one has almost no cow to milk, probably that his 150 cows are producing powdered milk at this point.
So, I finished the alpha 0.15 build playthrough, and it ´s not that bad at all. You can see Dev put some work in it. I didn ´t play so many VN Games as it ´s too much text for my taste and the H-scenes are normally considered weak. Story and art of this one are good I would say, so it ´s worth a look in my opinion when you guys like VN based games.
2 Things to note if you play this build, there is no open gallery of the H-scenes at the end, it ´s not enabled in this version. So I recommend making saves for the H-scenes and maybe for the day switch, where you make your decision what to do in the day as days are limited and you will not be able to see all scenes of the sidequests and maybe not from the main story too depending which choices you take.
I wish there would be an option to play at least the sidequests when finishing the main story. As gallery is not open yet, it might come with another update or final release. Aaaand there will be a chapter 3 someday announced too :-D.

Regarding Chapter 2?
The last actual devlog was on Aug 4th of this year (I don't know what's there, as I'm not subscribed to Patreon), and he is still dropping those endless awards sent out each month.
There have been no actual updates since 0.15 (that was released in 2024). Looking at how development has been going in general for years by now, this game won't be finished, really lol.
Game is in development for 9.5 years now. So yeah, Abandoned fits.
