Lately I've been playing several VNs made in RENPY and at some point I felt like producing my own VN.
So I started researching a little about the subject but not enough... so I decided to come here.
In general, from what I could understand, RENPY is just an "engine" for scripting, while the visual part (in my case I would like to make a 3D VN) I would have to do elsewhere. Is this thinking correct? If so, where do you recommend I start?
For my first work I don't intend to deal with "complex" animations like the ones we can see in "away from home", "hard to love" etc. But I also accept suggestions on where to produce these animations, after all sooner or later I will move on to that side.
