Unity - Quickie: A Love Hotel Story [v0.37] [Oppai Games]

Lewd scenes are very well done. They written very good, overall writing is also very good; characters are distinct and fleshed out. And that's the meat of the game, don't look at the management premise too much, that's more like a distraction.

As if the devs couldn't decide what to make of it, the management part plays like a silly mobile clicker first and actual management game seems as an afterthought (you can automate some things but that's absolutely unnecessary).

So essentially, what we see here is a VN and a pretty railroaded one. If you pick the *right* lines, you get the needed amount of *hearts* with girls faster rather than slower but you can always guess the right gift for them or even simply spend more time with them (seems that the game doesn't have strict time limit currently). You may think that you can choose which girl to pursue and which to ignore but that'll turn to be false later on.

There's almost nothing sandboxish about this, mostly that's just an illusion. Same for 3d tag, basically it's a 2d game, just with lots of 3d assets.

Overall, it still has polished and pleasant look and like I noted earlier, the writing is very good, was a pleasure to read. It just as a game subj is quite weak even if tries. 3.5 stars, not a bad game.

I downloaded this for the [3D game] and [Character Creator] tags as well as being a stack-a-room hotel management sim.

Wow! .. This is a really thrilling game .... *zzzZZZzzz* .... It's nothing like the stack-a-room hotel/office building games I've played in the past.. at least they had automation of many jobs and could hire more than 1 staff member ... with this one, you're also the cleaner that does job slower than people arrive - and on top of that, I've got to click on every'fuckin'thing. Just 30 minutes in and I'm already bored of this. Having the Dating Sim side of things as well doesn't help, it just means more clicking - And you're forced into the relationship .. you can't just say "Nope, I'm not interested".

Also, the [Character Creator] tag should be removed because it doesn't exist. All that can be done is change MC's skin and hair color ... whoopie!

All up I played this for an hour, and did not see anywhere where the [3D game] tag applies ... this is a 2D game.

There's a lot more things I saw in this that didn't seem to be necessary, or yet, like, you can buy different flavors of drinks, but not once did I get a reminder nor told to eat or drink.
MC never wakes in the morning.. always in the afternoon/evening.

This game is a complex mess, there's too many things to talk about.
As soon as you start playing this, it's constant click click click click with no rests in between = You're a slave to the game... why? because it combines you doing the last year of university, as well as going out on Dates, as well as running a Family Hotel business that you're the one-man-band of managing.

I didn't get to see any sex scenes, unless you call 5mm tall POP Vinyl Bubble Heads people with no visual genitals to be a sex scene

+1 for the 2D polished looks (not including the hand-drawn toon style still shots with blinking eyes - that's where quality went downhill).
+1 for there's lots to do.
-1 for there's too much to do = no rest until you save'n'close the game.

This game is in a very early stage but anyone who plays this can see there is something special brewing. It has none of the issues present with a lot of games one might find in this style. The art is refined, writing is used fantastically well to flesh out characters, and no mindless grinding. It's a recipe for success.

The character story stuff was fun, and I naturally gravitated to it. Knowing the game is an early build I thought I was done with all the current character content because there were no interactions left (hangouts are a work in progress as the game says). However I came to find out that putting more time into the family business via the love hotel moves progress in this game more than anything. Doing so unlocked not just a few new scenes but waves of more great character and erotic content. There is a perfect balance. Progress in the story unlocks new themed rooms. The hotel's themed rooms unlock sex scenarios with the girls and needing money to build the new rooms incentivizes managing the love hotel. It's never too time intensive, the pace hits that sweet spot.

So much potential here. Oppai Games does a lot with what little they have to their name, but what they have offered thus far puts them up high with any other top shelf indie developer making adult games. The only downside is waiting for the next update.

Love the style. I personally think the 3d style is just a waste of money, but the art in the scenes is great. Hopefully the hotel minigame improves a bit. I like the story with each character. I do slightly miss the old Quickie format, though. Although it was lower quality, the releases were more frequent.

Definitely one of the better games out here. The art is what I'd expect from a legitimate indie game, which stands head and shoulders above 99% of other games on this site. The management game is very simple and nothing I would play on its own, but most importantly it's not extremely tedious. I don't know what it is with porn games and tedium, but thankfully this one breaks the mold. The Persona aesthetic is a nice bonus too.

This has to be the single best brothel management game in development. The artwork, graphics, controls are fantastic. The fact that there is added romancing with multiple options of females offers tons of replay. Loving the content so far I hope this developer succeeds in finishing this game. The only thing bad about this game is the auto save feature only function. Hopefully as the game gets completed there will be a self save feature added.

Sooooo, The game is good. The U.I is awesome, the animations are superb and the story is cute. The hotel management was fun and if you are the type that enjoyed running a successful business tycoon in games like me then you would have enjoyed it. Note the past tense in that last sentence. This kids, is why you don't try to fix stuff that isn't broken. The Hotel management part of the game was one such stuff, it was quite great in the previous updates, the sessions were governed by a specific number of customers that would spawn while it was active which in turn was governed by the hotels popularity, so the more popular you are the higher the number gets ergo a higher number equals more customers then it was up to you place each customer wisely in various rooms of their desire depending on their various differences which i will mention later and how much they were will to pay, you could also pause or speed up time during the sessions which was good because then you could zoom in and get a still view of the naughty chibi business going on the rooms that were occupied. The customers were also diverse in that diner dash/wedding dash kinda way where some customers had longer wait time but paid less and others paid more but had significantly shorter wait times, in other cases there were customers that paid handsomely but instead of lower wait times they'd dirty the room you gave them a lot much more than regular customers which meant a longer clean period, it was good. The feature worked perfectly the way it was in my opinion and IF you put time, effort and a tiny bit of when choosing room to buy there, you could get to a point where the customers you during a session would as low as 1 to 0, i got to that point and i was enjoying myself. But then the overhaul came along and just fucked my paradise up. Now each session is governed by a time limit where customers just keep spawning till the timer runs out or till the lobby of the hotel full in which case they'll stop spawning there's some space. You can no longer check the dirtiness percentage of a room by clicking because now all room become completely dirty and grimy when they're used, this. I'm giving it 4 star because i can't in good conscience give it less as the remain features are still great, however the Hotel management feature needs to changed back. I hope the creators realizes this restores it back to the way it was.

Very good game. Nice animation, great art ! Story is simple and it's not a bad thing. the management hotel phase is cool and little fun.
I wait the next update to have more interactions with NPC.

One of the best H game out there. first of all one of the few game that i like all of the character and their design are very nice. The animation and h part is very nice. The gameplay is good. cant wait for the new update and hope the team keep up the good work.

The gameplay is really bad even moving around from place to place is tedious and annoying because the UI sucks none of the management parts are actually fun of rewarding in any capacity

But the art is actually very good (usually) the concept is pretty good and the characters are alright~ even if the dialogue feels a bit awkward


If the game play aspects were revamped this game would have a chance of being good, make moving from place to place more streamlined the menus could all be combined, let me manually save and load.
I don't know how to fix the hotel minigame but it genuinely feels like a very boring flash game which isn't even well made in itself

this game was way more fun than i expected. Fluid animations, fun gameplay and the management strategy type game all was integrated masterfully. One of the best games I've played ever. The characters are diverse and the scope of scenarios are varied yet fun.

The game is largely incomplete but this has to be my favorite implementation of a 'harem management' game. It's mainly because the structure and polish to this game is great and the animations are fantastic. It looks and feels like an actual game. The story set-ups to 'get' each girl are good and heartwarming and will serve well to set-up the sex scenes.

It's also a largely incomplete game. It's odd how basically you don't need to play the actual hotel management part of the game more that a few times in order to progress quickly..that's something that can be balanced out in future versions of the game. For what it's worth it's actually very fun!

I think one thing that I wonder if the game can figure out is, is that people generally like lewd progression, but the system of the hotel room sex scenes inherently prevents that. Once you get to a certain closeness with a girl, they become open to the idea of hotel sex and at that point you've unlocked the rest of all their sex scenes, so long as you have the room. It's a little strange and off putting from a story standpoint but to be fair, it looks like the developer hasn't quite decided what the end-game is yet. I can't really think of anything off the top of my head.

So far the concept, art and gameplay are all excellent. Seems like an interesting foundation for the game with Yusei. Looking forward to the story developing.

It would be great to use the star system to build up to different levels of interaction, so three stars gets you a handjob, while 5 stars is full shibari.

This game has a good storyline, great animations and game. Easy to play and very hands-on. The animations are so good. I love the game's interface design and environments. I'm becoming a patron for this. So looking forward to the updates!

This is a good dating/management sim. Easy to learn and execute, while also pretty forgiving in the management part. The girls all have wonderful art, their personalities are a bit archetype but that's fine, won't decrease the fun of dating and banging them, I swear.

[Review of version 0.17]

It still needs a lot of work and content, but the foundation is great. The art style is beautiful, the UI is great and the game mechanics are more engaging than other games of this sort.

The hotel management progression is still early on, but has promise. It would be interesting if unlocking new rooms would be intertwined with the VN part. Hangout 2 or 3 times with some one in a specific location to unlock a certain style of room. For example, talk with Satomi in the library for 2-3 days to unlock the library room. And make those talks meaningful to Satomis story progression. The blueprint system is good, maybe don't just sell them. Give them as rewards in some quests. The shift gameplay works great. Any extra balancing and/or features will be welcomed. I would like it better if the women you invite would acknowledge they are role-playing in a hotel room, but that's just my personal preference and can be ignored.

The VN aspect lacks content, but the basics are there. I hope the story lines will be a lot more developed with a lot more steps in them. Just focus on one or two women and fully develop their story, before moving on to other characters. Maybe add a way to find out what gifts they prefer, but that can wait till later.

Anyway, great start. It gave me Persona 5 Lite vibes. I hope to see this game on Steam in a year or two, with a lot more content.

Great dating sim game, good animations, 4 characters so far but look for more, also has hotel management aspect that is quite fun, although making money isn't very challenging. Looking forward to future updates for more events with existing characters and newer characters to play.

Wow just wow. Animation quality is one of the highest I've seen in any 2D Game. Girls are perfectly proportioned without looking like aliens. This needs way more attention. Only improvement would be perhaps to slow down the pace a bit just to really make the person to work for it. Other than that this game is perfect.

Update: I have liked some changes and quality of life improvements over time but lately I've had issues with the game crashing when it had been stable. Leaving at 3 for now but if future versions crash less could be a 4.

Fantastic animations, hint of interesting character development to come. The visuals and writing has so far been very appealing. The infrastructure is in place for future expansion with more girls. Would like to see maybe a little more complexity to the minigame, and better controls.
