I've never posted questions like this before, idk if this is the right place-
I am sort of making a game in rpgm.
Wondering what types of mc, or party members would be enjoyed as in their race or gender, (nsfw) fantasy setting.
RACES.
My first thing was to add centaurs, i don't know how to fix the sprites in combat, (since I want the side view battle to be the one used)
- if it's not in sideview the sprites aren't as much of an issue as the actors won't be seen in battle, only thier pictures.
Centaur, male or female- Thoughts? (Or a story only involving centaurs, (I kinda like centaurs)
Futa, perhaps a centaur or only with the "horse meat," between the legs and have the party members be various fantasy creatures-
Other actors, party members?
Fairy, (for smol but helpful) Harpy, (for the egg lovers) and something cool could be a queen of sorts, with a big stinger and wings, (wasp, bee) Anthro.
Then there's the obvious furry route, having perhaps a wolf girl go from hostile to somewhat friendly and be part of the party, a werewolf? idk, stuff like that-
I'm just a bit lost as there's lots of choices and I'm not sure what people think is underrated or overused in rpgm, and games alike where nsfw content is expected with the people you meet and befriend over the course of a game-
(Extra questions)
Having more than one mc, (is that bad) say you can swap to a person named Beatrice, she wanders into town with a party member, when swapping to this other members you might want to enter a "lascivious," establisment-
In there you as the male might indulge in certain acts, that the female mc wouldn't!
Beatrice leaves as she's too shy or anything like that, she might wait outside and will be able to rejoin once you go back to your home or leave-
But this means you can have multiple things occur, for different actors through the game, so picking up and spending time with an actor might lead you to events-
Seems like a lot of routes and that stuff to me is fun, but is it too much for no real reason?
Is that a wanted thing, or is it simply better if you build around the one, true, main actor! Or does it depend on what type of game is being made-
Because I feel there's lots of cool ideas, wandering into town as someone who's hometown it is, you might be greeted more friendly as you're a local, change into some stranger and they'll be suspicious of you, have a meter that if you do quests the town might start accepting you-
And that concept can work with all sorts of nsfw-
I'm just thinking lots and I'm, well... lost.
