I know this is an eroge, and this may sound hypocritical as hell, maybe I am. But does releasing quest-related monstergirls have any benefit besides gaining Charisma exp? I'm confused cause when I choose to release the slime we first encountered, she appears back in the shack on the beach. But when I did the same for the werewolf, weremouse, and wererabbit (the ones from the quests), they didn't appear at their previous position or at the shack on the beach.
And yes, I haven't got out of the starting area.

I can't remember if there's anything special with the mouse but when it comes to the wolf and rabbit combo, they show up if you tie up the rabbit for real and don't tie up the wolf. The pair reappear in the rabbit hole afterwards. Most should become NPCs if you release them and I think one end game choice changes slightly if you spare the girls.

South town adventurer guild. There's this staircase here that's easily missed. One of the npcs upstairs will give you a test to obtain the item.
I went and bought the game(as I try and do for every game above a certain quality I get on this site) and tried to transfer my saves over only to get a system error.
Anyone know how to solve this?? I'd rather not have to start over if I can help it.

Ended up fiddling around with it and figured out why I was getting the error. Seems the Kagura Games version is compiled differently somewhere making saves incompatible; if anyone needs at least a temporary fix, pasting the Kagura Games files over the steam ones and overwriting will allow you to boot and save the game through steam, and the save file, while incompatible with the normal game, will end up saved to steams Cloud at least.

At the very least, getting rid of the system.sav file won't force you to start over since that's where the game settings are stored and not game progress.
I let Rex go at the end b/c whatever, but does anything change if you fight him at the end? Is there only one ending, where you buy the island, get some money and then 'the adventure continues'?
Pretty sure you a high enough rank with the guild for that, so go do side quests, explore, and turn in girls to the guild to up your rank.
Do you have any idea how to check your guild rank? I've stopped playing for some time due to not getting further and now I'm clueless...

Yeah also haven't played in a while and I think I was wrong there is no guild rank, I thought there was since I did a bunch of stuff for them to get Non-combat skill ranks to pass their checks, if you get stuck again try leveling Non-combat skills and talking to people again to see if there's new options.

I don't remember a guild rank thing. The main interaction with the guild I recall is you needed to get an adventurer's license somehow (bribery worked), then the receptionist will give you a quest to save someone from the zombie village IIRC.
As for turning in girls, it's just selling yea. Based on the town you sell the girls, it flags it internally as if you're selling them into slavery or not. The towns where you are selling them into slavery, the sell prices for girls will be higher.
The elf village bouncer says something about having a high enough guild rank or the guild permit to pass. That confused me as well.
