Bumped into this issue just recently. I am running Windows 7 with quite so okay specs, enough to deal with Renpy games, easily. But when i try to run a renpy game, it takes quite a while before the game launches. Then when the game launches, and i click to "maximize" the window, it "freezes" for a while (about 20-30 secs) before it continues, and when it does that, i can play the game just fine without any issues.
Since it is like that with every Renpy game that i have, it's most likely to do with my Nvidia graphics card / driver issue, no? I should mention that i am able to run RPGM games fine without any bootup issues. It's only the Renpy ones that are behaving like this.
A possible issue can be that i have about 300+ games in my games folder.... Perhaps i should clean some folders? Where does the Renpy saves, cache etc. get stored..? I have enough space on my drives, so it cannot be that either.
Any thoughts on what can be the issue here, and how can i fix it? I am open for ideas.
