So, does that mean once the player actually progresses the story to the point where the uncle dies, the game is pretty much over? Is Chapter 2 going to be saved for a second game instead? Also, I have to say, some of the new CGs really feel jarring and out of place—they don’t even look like they belong to the same game. They’re nowhere near as good as the original simple, casual, slightly Japanese-style CGs that at least matched the cover art, so you could tell it was the same game and the same characters. Personally, I think the new CGs are genuinely ugly. The reason I got into this game in the first place was exactly because the cover art style was totally my thing.

To be fair i think you're talking about the last artist (the one who made the chubby girls), the current one actually made some arts better than the first artist. Look at Triss redesing, it's really well made and much better than the first desing. The problem is that the newer artist didn't made too much CGs yet so we still have the ugly chubby desings mixed with everything else.

maybe i'm tripping but I could have swore that Thea had a quest after you save her from imps, did it get removed? because i did everything else and there is nothing for her.

What's up with Thea's quest, I helped her bury the bodies from her old town and went back home with her but she has no other interactions or anything, am I missing something?
