You're not being criticized for 'hurting people's feelings', you're being criticized for making a paper-thin attempt to trick people into supporting you by pretending this is a sequel to somebody else's work. It's painfully clear that the reason you made this is that Rogue-Like Evolution is popular and you figured that if enough people didn't bother looking too closely, you could make a quick buck.

The name of your game is Rogue-Love Evolution 2. That's literally two letters off of Oni's, and you put a 2 at the end despite the fact that there clearly isn't a first game... at least one developed by you. You know why you're being put on blast, and the fact that you're trying to sweep it under the rug without addressing it is doing you no favors.
