Kind of a dick move to name your game after someone else's work, regardless of the "inspired by" tag on the title screen.

Yeah, while there are other obvious 'we stole the idea' rips out there, even with this exact concept, they are at least kind enough to not so directly try to piggyback on brand recog of the original. Yes, the industry is shady, but there is a certain level of shamelessness that basically ensures a bad reception.

Add on that the dev here has an abandoned game under their belt and multiple others that aren't finished, and it looks REALLY bad.

Well this is the second one in the Rogue-Like series that I know of. Yeah there is "The Null Hypothesis" too but it's a completely different style game with similar themes and features that was inspired by the first Rogue-Like.
