VN - Ren'Py - Ravenous [Arc 2 Ep.16 Beta] [Lament Entertainment]

Drawn by the appeal of an incest game that doesn't require a mod or changing landlady to mom, I gave this a shot.

Now few other people may point out the writing and grammar, when I first started playing it's instantly notable, I thought this would be one for the bin, but either it's just at the very beginning or I just didn't really notice later because it never really seems to be an issue after.

The game has a nice set up for a first update, interesting enough premise, attractive women, lots of taboo. Spoilers, I thought it was funny that the son had a normal reaction to the daughter going down on the mom, just goes "nope" and leaves, even if I do expect him to go to pound town on those asses later.

I came for the loli's and stayed for the story.

Up front, there are grammatical issues. I think the dev will work those out over time and I'm mentioning it but not hitting them on it since it's early.

Great story, renders are solid. The mood is set will with lighting and creativity. The story is refreshing and engaging. Not all models are super star bombshells but attractive enough. I like the mix of MILFs and Lolis. Honestly there isn't much to complain about. It's light on content but it's early in the dev cycle so that's forgivable since what is there is really good.

Not often do I leave a review but here I had to. There isn't much to the story yet but it has potential, and the renders look quite good. However, as a non native English speaker, I have to say that the grammar is abysmal. The dev can't tell the difference between "your" and "you're", drops an occasional "u" here and there, omits apostophes almost entirely unless trying to write in eye dialect ("ma' " for "my"). Capitalisation is completely random and passes like "i'm wore out" instead of "I'm worn out" are the sugar on top. The entire thing reads like comments on dumbest subreddits and it spoils the entire experience. It really needs a competent proofreader.

This game was really well put together. Good dialog, good renders, interesting plot, sexy character models and even some appropriate music. I'm really interested in seeing more of this game. The only drawback was that there were some typos here and there but that stuff is easily fixed. 10 out of 10 for me.
