It's HTML. You can probably just open the file in a plain text editor and do a global search and replace of DEFAULTNAME with Bob Bobbington the Third, or whatever.

this looks interesting, i have downloaded it and am going to check it out later. but as a side note to the dev, which i am sure this has been mentioned before, 'incest' content is looked down on by the kink-shaming-fucks at patreon. they might ban you real quick. you should probably head over to suscribstar. they are way better.

ok i tried it.

one thing i noticed is that while the main content is fine, like the mom and son, all the tv and memes and stuff comes as broken links. its all in the folders, but the links are broken...

I absolutely agree, forcing the MC's name is stupid. Normally there are work arounds for games made by dev's too lazy/inexperienced to figure out how to do variable names, unfortunately with this one, it looks like it's hard scripted, meaning you would need to go through the entire script replacing every mention of mark with your preferred name, or do a search and replace and risk fucking up the code...

Hopefully we get the option to change the name in the future, but, worst case, it's not like the site is lacking for html games.

I already know this gonna be a little awkward to play considering the main character has my dad's name. This is why name change is important.
