right at the start of the VN it was clear that it isn't taking itself seriously. think of a hentai "plot" that leads to sex. is the "plot" needed before the hentai stuff happened? well depends on the hentai in question but the answer to that is mostly no.
if you don't want to take yourself seriously that's fine. just keep that all the way. however there are many character interactions and banters that isn't funny or compelling. frankly speaking they feel... templated. yeah that's about a good way of putting it. their responses feels as if they came from a 2000 hentai anime. I haven't completed the game's 2nd day (where they're supposed to introduce yet another character) and I'm so bored of this already.
and no, I don't think I'm playing the wrong game. compare this to something like Destiny Star Girlfriend, that VN is way more fun despite "not taking itself seriously". this VN is trash compared to that and I would very much recommend you go there instead of here.
