Real Porn and HTML overused?

I don't really have an issue with pure text games or real porn, it's just so many of them try to be sprawling adventure games when really they shouldn't. If your gameplay involves navigating my home/apartment and finding my way to school/work then you have lost me. It's not fun. It's even worse when location-based scenes trigger based on random chance. I'm completely baffled as to why this is so popular. It doesn't make the world seem bigger. It doesn't increase replay value. It just means I now have to meta game the RNG in order make something happen.
I think if you go the real porn with text route you should focus on crafting decisions which affect the narrative. You write some text and let the player make a choice based on it. Don't make me stand in a location several times trying to get a drip of content to happen. Write the story in a way that brings me to the location and just make it happen. If you want a bigger world and more reply value then add choices which avoid the location, changes the location, or changes the context of the visit to the location.

I hope at some point real porn games will be made with real porn studios.
They are already experimenting with high-tech stuff like VR movies or life-select branching. There is no problem to shoot a set of specific scenes for a game.
And I'm sure, none of current real-porn game devs contacted any porn studio to make art for a game. While porn studios always have production teams looking for new ideas to make their content. And they already have websites, where this game may be shown.

I rather enjoy rl porn games, issue it seems is stringing together pictures that make sense for scenes and characters and overused actresses. I can really do without ava adams in every rl porn game, shes......meh. And that one blond girl, can't remember the name (also in the company) shes overused as well. Plenty of chicks out there, same ones get used commonly.
I like real porn.
Visuals help set the mood and dictates the mindset I should have while playing. You change the way a game looks, you change basically everything about the user experience.
That said: art often is more likely to take away from the experience in a lot of cases. If it's poorly drawn/rendered, or well done but in a style that I just don't personally care for like anime, and you've done more to take away from my enjoyment than if you just threw a wall of text at me.

There's obvious drawbacks to this solution and there is such a thing as poor implementation, but it's a hell of a lot better than a lot of the popular alternatives like DAZ or Honey Select.

Lol this sounds like something a basement dweller with a body pillow would say. Holy shit you got some skewed standards when it comes to looks. Are there ugly porn actresses? Sure there is are most of them ugly? Hell no. I can't believe how you can even say that with being a troll.
Beyond that RL porn is great if it's done right. For some reason most of the games end up being grindy messes that lack any thread running through the story. They often end up being sandbox games and that requires greater thought. An open world game / sandbox game has a greater challenge making the story stick together and work as a whole than a VN. It's also kinda limiting. A dev can't do a threesome scene between MC, Dillion Harper and Angela White if they have no scenes together. 3Dcg can construct what they need. But yeah 3Dcg requires a skill that real porn does not.
I enjoy both but yeah a real woman will almost always be more beautiful in my eyes than any 2d or 3d character can be.
