Overview:
Reanimated Heart is a character-driven horror romance visual novel about finding love in a mysterious small town.
In a unique setting inspired by pulp horror, the player has to figure out how to build a life from scratch in a strange dimension where the sun never rises and supernatural creatures live freely. There are three mysterious love interests with their own distinct storylines and secrets to uncover, each of their routes contributing their own perspective to the wider story.​

So does this mean any theoretical lesbian action for a female protagonist is just side scenes at most? Or have lesbian paths simply not been added yet but will be added in future? Or is the lesbian tag wrong and female protagonists are only ever going to get straight LI options?

the game dev has said that none of the love interests are cisgender, they're all nonbinary in someway (black: trans masc nonbinary, crux: agender, vin: nonbinary). they all use he/him pronouns and the game only uses he/him pronouns for simplicity sake

they're all still fine with being called men, they just aren't cis. here's screenshots.





so technically, all of them can still be romance options if said lesbian mc is interested in nonbinary people. if not, vin's their safest bet. they also all canonically have penises.

Ah, Tumblr, this all explains the feminine appearance of all the LIs, not my cup of tea but good luck to the developer. Honestly might be worth including their pronouns in the profiles on the page, it's a dealbreaker for some people.
I'm also going to make a shot in the dark and guess that the developer is also himself transmasc/nonbinary.
