You are not doing anything wrong. The game is broken and you can't get the correct number of mushrooms (3) to trigger the rest.

The fix is changing on check from 3 to 1, or by copying the sign mushroom event 2 more times.

If that's the case, Jag uploaded a version of the game with a fix.

Here's a link with the fix from CarrotCat applied. It also contains a completed save. If you don't want the save, just delete the ./save/ folder in the game's directory.

Sorry, haven't been around for a while. Apparently, I can't have an unlimited amount of time on file links for Mega without paying for it. If anyone knows a better hosting service I can use, let me know. As for now, this should hopefully be good for the next year.
