Did the last reviewer say stuff is still in chinese... in a japanese game? Did I read that right?
...Seeing that the last reviewer is Sumiohana, who was arguing here earlier, that complete misconception doesn't surprise me as much as a wish that it would, and while I want to believe that's a mistype, there's the possibility it isn't. BoingWoing worked hard on the translation and did as much as they could to make it all readable. The "untranslated parts" outside of the opening haiku are things that they genuinely COULD NOT get to display properly because of how the game was built, so they used Romanized Japanese characters to make them look as close to the words they were meant to be as possible. So the game doesn't remain untranslated, it's just that the translator was working with limited options and did what they could.

Also this game needs a gallery
And it will probably have one when it isn't barely a fledgling anymore.
Edit: Just tried it out didnt work
Timing and positioning are key. You have to wait until he starts spinning the object above his head. Sometimes you may beat him before he ever does, but I think he's more likely to do it when he's being pressured.

2 weirdos with profiles revolving around wanting pointlessly difficult games, I wonder what kind of unfulfilled psychological needs lead to people being like this.
It's a disease called "being a different person." It's a horrible disease, I know. It's the same reason that you've just equated good gameplay being in a porn game to it being needlessly difficult. Even if that's not what you meant, your own determination to be an ass has led you down that hole. You were so focused on farming for engagement that you didn't notice what exactly you were saying, or you did and just admitted that you don't believe porn games with deeper gameplay than clicking a button or two should exist. Whatever the case may be, you've made it hard to take your opinion seriously. Wonderful job.
So, the dev thought it was a good idea to make it so that you needed to be in the air to use E on enemies, but not when you need to use E on the boss in order to to your special move
Once again, you are entirely wrong somehow. Pressing E on the ground is main way of taking down enemies. It causes you to leap into the air and land on the closest enemy in range (in the direction you're facing), taking them out instantly. Doing it in the air is just a little bonus to avoid all the wind up and make your takedowns faster, though it requires you to be a bit more precise by proxy.
Actually the game doesn't tell you that you need to press E in the boss at all.
The game gave you an enemy earlier in the game, one with a shield, to figure this out on. You cannot take them out normally, so you have to break their shield first with a special takedown, which can only be executed on the ground, then use a normal takedown (or a ninjitsu) on them. Either you missed the enemy, skipped it, or just don't have the pattern recognition the developer was expecting out of you.

At the same time...it can't be that difficult to understand some actually like that difficulty because it serves to their own edging method.
You mean physical edging?
I don't think that is possible with this game since you can't change the controls to play one handed.
I guess unless they have a some kind of help for that like a person or a machine.
Which I doubt.

What's hard is using these controls without getting muscle ache from the horrid hand placement it requires. Like, IJKL and WASD + Space? This control scheme is an abomination and my hand hurts from playing this for just half an hour.
The controls are perfectly fine, it's just WASD on both ends of the keyboard, it's almost the natural position your hands have when placed on the keyboard with no specific intent, I don't understand why people are crying for an option to rebind controls, unless you want to play with one hand, which would be understandable

It took me a minute to notice, but I'm pretty sure that Suminohana was ragebaiting. The original argument was compelling evidence to take it seriously, but after a few messages AND looking at that one in particular, there's no way they were serious. It's not even "almost" the natural position, the game is designed around how you're supposed to type on a keyboard, which shouldn't hurt your hands unless you're doing gymnastics on your keyboard. (If that results from you playing with one hand...the game is built in a way where you have plenty of time to switch positions if you really want to.)

Dude is just an ass, he was in another topic being needlessly mean to a user's fanart. His inability to understand or accepting people personal taste only reveals how juvenile he is, as evidence to his petty insults. This game is still far from being finish, years possibly from completion and that leaves a lot of time for the gameplay to still flesh out. Pointless to get panties all up in a bunch.

Is this new? I swear I played this exact game years ago, in the exact same severely incomplete state
It wasn't the exact same, but you may have played it years ago. The level design is completely changed, but there are still only 4 stages including the same boss fight. Area 2 is already in the game code-wise, so the wait may not be as long as you think.
