Ren'Py - Abandoned - Reincarnotica [v0.05] [Polyrotix]

This is the only adult game, where I can say that it was love at first sight
Prii and Fiona, maybe the two best looking read heads I have ever seen!

The game has a great start. Of course the intro is pretty long and not for everybody, but it introduces you into an interessting story, that reminds me of some VR-gaming manga/ anime.
After the intro, you will be introduced to the main protagonist and the female characters.

I like the whole art-style of this game. It really feals like a work of art.
And the best of the whole game are the character models! The female models are gorgeous! Especially Priscilla and her mother. The male character models looks pretty good as well. And the developer already teased some new characters on his Patreon page.
The whole arty look and the character designs make me think that it plays in Venice in the lovely Italy. (Well now I know that it isn’t so, but a lot of the names actually sound quite Italian)
I can't wait to see more of this game. It doesn't even need that many NSFW scenes. For me a good story in this lovely style is more than enough

Now that Version 0.2 was released and I played it, I can only say wow! The amount of details in this game is astonishing! This is the first game, where I am really impressed with the design of the houses. It looks like it is made with a lot of love for the smaller details. And I love the whole color-coding in this game.
Like cyan for everything Prii-related, red for Fiona and purple for Aanya.

With Version 0.2 we got introduced tot he freeroaming-gameplay style, which brings in some positive and negative points.
The negative point for now is just that it feels empty, but this is a problem in every game with this gameplay style, especially in such an early version. You always wonder what to do next without missing something. In this version you have to do a lot of time skipping as the events happen on special days and day times. Luckely there is a „hint“ function in this game (even this feels really arty).
As there is only the Fiona-path in this version, of course only her events are implemented, so the game will feel a lot more lively, when we get more and more content.
The positive points are things like really arty gamedesign like the main menu, sometimes the writing, the houses and the world, the music, etc.
Without saying much about the story, I personaly find it really interesting, even more now with a bit of backstory to Fiona.

I am looking forward to the next version update, especially because it will be focusing on Prii

Awful intro that's 10x longer than it needs to be due to a bizarre fascination with pointless MMO tactical minutiae, no erotic content, and the 0.2 update is apparently a completely different genre to what was in 0.1.

Very little story, very little worthwhile exposition, just a stream of nonsense to keep you clicking.

The intro is coherent, has a multitude of plot points, I suspect the mage plus the 2 tanks helping him out, and I suspect the Rustbucket to be the real swapped body... The fact that I came dick in hand to play this as porn and I ended up thinking about the plot - that's proof enough for me that this is a well written and immersive story.
It annoyed me at first, then bored me, then I just decided to see how deep the rabbit hole was, and I was entertained with a rich story and a high SATISFACTION for going through it, and I consider the post-waking part(the actual erotic game) as a reward for my patience.

The graphics are simply beautiful and I believe it's a breath of fresh air from the multitude of similar games out there.
I can see many devs and genre fans blaming you for not walking the beaten path, but if you do it right and deliver high quality, please-oh-pretty-please, steer clear of the beaten path, for we are sick of it!

The music is fantastic, and me being a fan of Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain surely helps me be a bit biased.

After playing v0.02 I keep my rating. Still promising story, of which start actually is in this version. Very first version was mostly useless but well done. Why useless? Story about virtual game type of crap of which is many in fantasy or sci-fi genre. So.. if you play games or watch fantasy., sci-fi its something useless. It could be summed up in few sentences, but dev went wild and build a whole story around it.. kind of useless, but whateva. Its still good becouse intro gave my that wtf feeling. Like, what the hell am I playing?! Kind of feel.. Add to it mismatch of main menu which resamble this french style of art or whatever, but second after we get a sword and magic intro... then we die.. literally.
After death starts real game.. which is actually nice, but still empty.
World mam, check. There is and its pretty detailed.
Main locations done? Only our home and part of neighbours.
Events? Only with one character.. kind of sad, but promising for the future. Dev made a lot of progress so we have a chance for something great to play with. Models and renders remind me style of Milfy City, but in a french accent to it. Kind of. I'm not from France, so its hard to point at something concrete.
What it lacks? Animations. Choices. Minor, everyday events. Like eating meals, hugging. Small stuff but ones which bring life to games.
Sexy situations are pretty much forced on Us, so I wonder when we will get to choose something significant.

Till now there was but one pervy moment, which was peeping.. so minor thing in this kind of games. Its a chance for our gentlemanly side to emerge, and not our inner perv. Girls could actually fall in love with Mc.. he at last does not look like kid or a walking potato with big dick. Actually, he looks better than most of Us. So.. yeah, at last we can be the handsome guy. He still has bigger than average weapon of mass panty wetness, but its not a monser python. So its something between Enarmous and Kind of Big tool in his pants.
Characters have their own personality and do not fall in love with Mc at first sight. Do not get corrupted with cheats over one night and tada, we bang all female characters in the game. So yeah. Its refreshing.

In few words. Its damn promising, but I expect that real game, in which each update has many events will start at 0.03 or 0.05 when dev polishes his skills and world of the game he tries to make.

First thing first, its damn great intro!

Shame that we get to know our beauties at the end of it, becouse most if is some game crap which is done well.. but is not necessary to enjoy this game.

All fun starts after dying.. literally. Great character models and if something might look bad, its skin of our Indian doc.. especially her legs. Too dark for my taste. Almost black keens.. yuck. Her face tough.

Add to it 2 sexy red heads that are going to live with Us..

Shame it ended when it actually started, yet intro might be fun for some. I most of the story clicked trough becouse it was gibberish we did not have any choice in so would be useless to try to read into it

This is a 0.1 version of a Visual Novel game, and it has a 30 minutes or so introduction that's packed full of great graphics, amazing music, intriguing plot, wonderfully reinvented setting, strong writing and and awesome cast of characters. In fact, I have reason to believe that the dev can put this up on Early Access on Steam and get sales immediately - if effort is put into promotion and marketing, that is. So hell yes, let's have an amazing story heavy EVN that'll set a new golden standard in the industry!

EDIT: Polyrotix steps up his 0.02 with one of the most beautiful house interiors I've ever seen (unique, if some of the posts in this thread are to be believed), a point and click puzzle game, stunning art all around, drama, intrigue and even sex already! This is one guy who has his Art stat close to max and he's not nearly earning enough to make it worth his effort, yet. SUPPORT HIM ALREADY!

Bearing in mind that this is a 0.1 version and so the content is limited, I have one thing to say.... Wow.

The story is excellent, well crafted, detailed, and realistic in a 'near future' sci fi setting. The characters seem real, even the fake online persona's that you run into. Anyone who played an MMO for any length of time will just absolutely resonate with even the brief interactions with the characters from the MC's 2 right hand men all the way down to the japanese desu chick who only has a few lines.

The artwork is quite frankly gorgeous, even going so far as the detailed artwork for the menu buttons that make you feel like even selection options or load game is like looking at a gustav klimt collection. Furthermore the collection of music, which I recognize as royalty free music from YT, is hands down far and away better than most of the Ren'Py offerings I've seen, and always seems to fit the current scene. For once I actually played from start to finish without turning off the music.

I guess my main downside is there's really no erotic content to speak of, but this is a version 0.1, so you can't be too surprised.

What is there, is down right fantastic. I left off halfway through at one point last night, then all day at work I found myself eagerly waiting to get back to the story to see what would happen.

I'm going to keep a close eye on this one.

I judge a game by its story and content, not by its graphic.
Holy shit this game has a strong introduction, from the technical mumbo jumbo seen in most anime and sci fi films, to the over the top rpg characters, which can actually be seen in games when they've spent a long time playing. Interesting side characters, nice pacing. I'm eager for more
