Overview:
Relics of Wayne: Greymoor is a story-driven, cinematic mystery game built by a two-person team.
You inherit a decaying manor in the quiet village of Greymoor, and quickly get pulled into its people, its secrets, and the strange tension that hangs in the air.

The game focuses on atmosphere, grounded characters, slow-burn intimacy, and choice-driven dialogue.
It’s not a “rush to content” type of game, it’s more about mood, relationships, and the mystery that builds as you settle into the town.

(After playing for 20 minutes) The game reminds me of the Broken Sword point and click games - puzzles (so far pretty easy) to be solved and move story forward. It's a shame they resorted to gen AI art but besides that it does reasonably well capturing the mystery and unsettled mood. It's voiced, and the music suits the scenes. Some bugs when the characters are navigating around each other and there's no option for window mode. Good luck with the game, devs!

This has a lot of promise, but I have to say it's a huge disappointment to have an attractive MC and then not even show him during the sex scene.

Yeah haha the Broken Sword series was a huge inspiration for this game, it's no coincidence that the main character is kinda similar to George Stobbart. One of our goals is to try and create a modern point and click adventure game, just that with the both of us working full time it was impossible at the moment to create all the speaking animations to all the characters + have them voice acted like we wanted them to be. Though it's on the roadmap for sure.

We've already started work on the second day in Greymoor, and even beyond that. Can confirm the puzzles get harder :)

Regarding AI, we definitely utilized it, but as a concept artist I tried to create a lot of the graphics/animations myself and where there is AI to try and heavily edit it so that it fits the overall style and becomes 'somewhat' fair. Without AI this demo would've been done in a year+ from now, if not more, and we've been working nonstop for the past 10 months as it is. Doesn't make it right, just that it's a game we really wanted to end up making and not give up half way.

Major credit for drsnake for creating all the audio! And thanks for the feedback, adding "Windowed mode" and "Fixing navigation bugs" to the to do list

Since this is the player's first day in Greymoor, we wanted to keep the demo's sex scene a bit tame. Future sex scenes will show a lot more of the MC.

That couch screenie looks like a heavy tension drama hotness and the concept sounds great, and I'm not one to be sold on the comicbook or parody stuff for their own sake so you know it's real. Thanks for sharing!

Lol you reminded me of the first episode of Dexter! (murder scene in Miama is like being in a freaky disneyland or something)

This dude is fucking dead.

Finally, some fresh air; an interestingly done little game, though riddled with AI gen inconsistencies. Why do AI dev not use controlnets and LORA's is beyond me.

Alright you got me with the Broken Sword vibes. There better be a puzzle where you have to get past a goat or something.:D
Good luck with your game I'll be keeping an eye out for further development.

This game is extremely buggy...

Don't press esc right after pressing new game, for some reason it loads the same scene over and over
Y-sorting only works half the time.
I still hear sounds when I turn off master volume.

It's weird that it has these basic bugs because it looks like the game has been in production for a while even considering the AI generated stuff.

We have been thinking about how to implement rollback/skip into a game like this, since i really enjoy that in renpy games. I guess it would be contained to the current conversation only, what do you think?

Future tags is a good idea, i'll discuss that with Tinywizar3d and post them when we have them, and we definitely do not want to go little on the lewd stuff. We're also thinking about adding "quick lewd interactions", for example visiting Alex in the bookstore for a quicky (outside of the story based lewd interactions). Got any thoughts on that?

Ohh so true about the larger font! we spoke about that a month or 2 ago, yet somehow completely forgot to add it to the demo... (it's even still on the task list i see now )

Thank man, appreciate you checking it out! We actually did train some LoRA's, but we have definitely not been consistend about it.. Tinywizar3d has been painstakingly been editing most of the graphics by hand to make them consistend.

LoRA training is still something of a black art to us, i know how to do it, but i don't know how to perfect it.
Will definitely look at that some more, thanks for the advise!

Hmm, can we chat to you about these bugs? I've heard the master volume bug before by one of our playtesters, but this was supposedly fixed in this latest build. (I guess we have missed somethings!)
